  • Learn how to Cricut screen print with vinyl and your Cricut machine. This method will work with any Cricut machine and will add just another craft that you can make with a Cricut. Cut vinyl then add it to a screen then start screen printing a ton of different surfaces. This is a great way to make shirts in bulk and so much more. This method is for making a temporary screen cut I also have recommendations in the video for making a permanent screen if you would like.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! I love your videos because you make them easy to follow, you are not just talking away about other stuff during your explanations which is huge for me, other ones talk so much that I get tired and leave them. 2. If you use easy press what temp and how long do you press
    3. What are the pros and cons of this vs just HTV

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  3 роки тому +2

      You can screen print just as I have shown with vinyl. You could add HTV to the screen instead to make a permanent screen. You would press for the time/temperature for silk as that would be the closest material. Pros of this would be it is so much easier if you are making a bunch of one type of shirt. Once you make your screen, it is quicker that HTV for multiple shirts. Cons are that this is not really practical if you just want to make one or two shirts.

Does that mean the other is for...wood ,glass and so on? I love screen printing I have a 4 station 4 colour press I taught myself on a speedball I love it. I just found you and your channel snd signed up for emails and I’m so excited! I ordered a kit and some paint and I’m just watching again before I go for it! I’m super nervous 😬. I know practice and trial and error is how you learn. The machine intimidates me🤣. Is it a MUST that you use permanent vinyl? I have some Cricut brand of both stencil/permanent but just curious. I also bought some permanent from the dollar tree for random practice projects. It’s definitely not the best but great to practice with snd kid projects. Also, curious if you would use that cheaper vinyl or simply stick with the good stuff? Thanks so much for this awesome tutorial! 😀you make this look so easy!

    Did you say this method is temporally? Like does if fade off after several wash?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Рік тому

      The shirts are permanent. The screens are temporary if made with the adhesive vinyl.

      You can but it is easier if you have special equipment.

    You said use you iron and it’s temperature but what if your using a EasyPress?? What temp? How long?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Рік тому

      320 degrees F for about 40 seconds should be fine. You can check the speedball website for specifics.

      Definitely look on the ink you are using as they are all different.

    Hi Angie,
    I just found you on Pinterest and found the supplies needed but I wanted to ask if you can screen print on dish towels that are terry cloth or other kitchen towels? Or does it have to be the flour sack towel?
    Thank you again,
    Carol

      It gets tricky as they are bumpy and your transfer may not be as clear if that makes sense?

    What setting is your iron on?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  3 роки тому

      I would iron on the right setting for the fabric. So cotton/poly in this case.

    So if you use iron on that means it won't come off the screen correct?

      I have several different Cricut machines so all of them! You can use any of them for a project like this.
