Just purchased this after this review. We have a cocker spaniel and the hoovers we have used in the past have been cheap and don't pick up her hair making the carpet look dirty. Excited to have a hoover that is made to deal with pet hair
@DanielJohnHowTo Thank you, it came this morning I tried it on the stairs which is the worst area for pet hair and the amount of hair and dust that came up was satisfying but also made me feel a little bit sick 😂 it's amazing I wish I'd have gotten one sooner
Thank you both. I am considering this machine .. your useful review has helped me to decide to buy. One of the things which always concerns me whe buying without "trying" is how easily the various parts fit together. My last machine (another brand) has always can be stiff/awkward to to fit and remove the accessories to and from. You showed all this on screen and made it clear how easily it can be managed. I'm grateful to you.
Ordered this tried it out yesterday My previous NV601UK31 Brushroller stopped this replaced it. Very good suction Amazing pick up love the Attachment with roller. Was hoping and expecting the wow I had with previous shark first time and everytime Not quite only because it didn't glide over my rug but did a lovely job on carpets and other rugs I can use it on rug but not back and Forth just one way as suction goes deep into the pile Happy to use roller attachment on rug I am confident I'm keeping it as shark great make this was £149.99 The last £179.99
Great, just ordered one after seeing this review. Normally have Sebo but it's too heavy so was looking for something lighter and a pet version....just what I needed to see.
I've got a Dyson at the moment but find it doesnt pick up very well and the battery life is short. I have been thinking about a Shark and now I have just ordered one. Thanks for your review, very helpful.
@@no1saladdodger It picks up dirt and pet hair so much better but it is harder to manoeuvre around furniture with it being heavy and the suction so powerful, compared to the dyson. Overall its a better vacuum for me
i’ve had some dysons but definitely prefer the sharks. my old shark stopped working (think it might need a new battery) and i have this one coming today. can’t wait to use it after seeing this review 🎉
Hi, great review…. I’m just thinking about buying one. Can I ask, ….. does the wire hook have a quick release mechanism so you dont have to unwrap it, if you get me. And, after using it a few weeks, is it still as as powerful. Thank you 😊
No...I just bought it and thought it would. I tried to clip it but it doesn't...it's disappointing... I don't know if there is another way ...I guess to use the little tool ?
Good review , one of the comments was the suction was to strong making it hard to push , I’ve just bought this exact model from a lady today for £30 yes £30 she’s had it 2 months and said it hurt her chest trying to push it , I only got it today so can’t comment yet but a real bargain 🙂👍🏻
@@DanielJohnHowTo yes I have watched several reviews now they all say the same it’s extremely difficult to push on a carpet even with a slight pile I’ve yet to test it myself
I dont think may people suss that there's a suction release valve (suction level) on the handle, which makes it much easier to push on carpet. Absolutely fantastic pieve of kit imo.
Well I've recently bought one and on our carpet it will not even move. The suction is so strong you cannot push it. Has anybody else encountered this problem!
in this case make sure the brush roller is turning via the power button selector and then reduce suction so it works, is it a thick pile carpet by any chance?

Thank you very much for this demo we just got a shark vacuum yesterday and believe or not as helped me out quite a fair bit.
I’ve seen ‘quite a few’ review vids on this hoover ......this is by far the best! Thank you 👏
Glad it was helpful!
Got mine delivered today as our second Bosch Athlet died. Love it
This is a fab review and it has convinced me to purchased one. Thanks

How are you finding the shark in comparison to your dyson

@housewife1543 great thanks. I've had a few dysons but I don't rate them anymore.

I have this is rose gold but can't find any videos on disassembling the head ive only found 2 filters to wash surely it comes apart more
Does anyone know how to take the roller area out to clean this?
Just purchased a Shark Vacuum cleaner, really good at picking up and powerful too
Great to hear!
I bought this yesterday
How do I get into the pipe behind the rollers doesn't this bottom part come off ?
Thank you most helpful. I think you mean ‘intergrated’ rather than ‘intragated’.
Excellent detailed review i think i`ll grab one thanks
just purchased this thanks for the review
This vacume anti hair wrap technology ??
Thank you very much for this review. Very helpful👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
No problem 👍
How do you clean the bottom part I don't seem to see any bits that come loose
Hi, does it work on a high pile carpet? Like really thick carpet.
yes
Does it bend to go under furniture easy like beds?
Thanks very much
Great review thanks. 👍
Thanks for watching!
I would love this one if you get it without the swivel motion.

Yes it does, it was just me not using it properly.
Thanks for this - very useful. Can it not do the lift-away function to go under furniture with the main brush roller?
Where does the extra extension wand go?
Do you know if you can use the normal head with the body detached for under beds/sofas?
No...I just bought it and thought it would.

just ordered one shark had an offer on £111
it's a good vacuum we use it every 1-2 days no issues.

there is a suction adjuster slider on the handle.. work well on my shark
Are you still happy with it after two years?
yes and we use it every few days, no issues
Wish you’d put flour on the floor for effect
How much did you pay for it mate? Cheers ;-)
oh it was around £150-70 I believe, thanks.
I’m sure you can afford a tripod
fair point, however i need to do close up parts to show the functions etc
