I have just bought the ' T ' version, although I wasn't aware..... Peoples videos (and yours) give me confidence this cleaner is a good one......at £200, this makes me more relaxed. 👌
Just got one from Argos, cheaper than Amazon. Hoovered a thick rug after our Melie cord retractor failed. The Shark found soooo much more dirt and dog hairs, totally shocked how much, and the large rug looked so much better afterwards. Top, top product and quieter too.
I love shark products from the very first one I bought. I went for a cordless when I replaced my old one, and found myself regretting it. I have pets and kids, and the cleaning is heavy duty. I find the wand is almost permanently blocked. My son has exactly the problem with the cordless dyson. I have to dismantle and fully clean it after every room, very tedious. So, I'm having one of these as well, so I can do the house weekly with this, and then just get odd spills up with the cordless. I just thought I would mention this, as you tell us you are very pro cordless models.

Just got one of these today for 190ukp. First impressions its a brilliant little machine and fl;ys around the room. Love its little led headlights. The brushes arer very sentimental though and the slightest small hard objoect will make the brush stop spinning. This means you have to open 3 small clips, take brush out and clean. Tells you when brushes stop though with a Red light.
I have the pet hair version and have a German sheperd long hair. This vacuum is really good for the first year but hairs tangle up where they say it should not. It gets so tight the vacuum motor struggles and slows down possible burning out . You need to spend money on Torks head screw drivers to clean it out but don't bother Shark have designed the vacuum so you cannot get to clean the main brush unless you take the whole bottom end off and that includes the motor and circuit board. The only way to clean a small part of the clogged hairs is a fine but stiff piece of wire and try to hook it out. This as i see it is a design fault but has and easy remedy. Will they listen! not a chance. So be aware this is a good vaccum but not for pets with long hair. I rate it 90% out of 100%
They are good vacs but very heavy and priced a bit high 4 my liking I've had vax b4 which are OK but having a lot of animals they wear out after a couple of years.
The only difference will be the Turbo brush attachment that comes with the UKT model. This is a great little tool for vacuuming the stairs or furniture with

Hi this is superb thanks you. One question please! When you pulled out the first filter (circular foam) there is a felt circular piece of fabric under that. In my instruction booklet I noticed it stated that you wash not only the circular foam bit but the white felt circle underneath. I’ve done that so hoping that’s okay in your view? Many thanks

Anyone. In regards too the little mini hoover tool. The new one has rubber blades. But the older one has brushes, do the rubber blades work as good ,on carpets , also would the brush version also fit if I bought it separately thanks

It may feel ‘archaic’ to have a cord on your vacuum but when you have a large house with lots of carpets then a cordless vacuum just doesn’t cut it.
Please do the video on how to take it apart. I need to get to the roller that don't click out.

You wouldn't normally be able to vacuum in liftaway mode with the main head attached to it.
Yes, you can! It clearly depicts this on the Shark website (in Australia, at least) and there are videos online showing you how to do this.

You will find that there won't be a huge difference in the pickup ability between the 2 but the rubber bladed one will be easier to clean
