Dan Schneider had always been notorious for being a bit off-putting, but some sources say that he actually pinned Jennette McCurdy, the actress who played Sam in ICarly down on set for no reason. Keep in mind, McCurdy was only 14 when she began the role of Sam Puckett; which makes her a minor for a good chunk of the show. Schneider was at least in his mid to late forties. Recently, we got news about the iCarly reboot that McCurdy refuses to be a part of. Could it be because of Dan Schneider?
Dan Schneider ... If you don’t recognize the name, you’ll recognize the shows he’s created. You’ve heard of ICarly, Drake & Josh, Victorious, and Zoey101, right? If you haven’t, well then we feel bad for you. These are all shows we grew up watching; some of them even defined our childhood. These are all shows created by Dan Schneider. You may not remember, but his name usually pops up near the end of the theme songs of the shows we mentioned. In other words, this man is responsible for quite a few of our favorite childhood shows. So, naturally, you’d think Schneider would be someone to be thankful for; a good person who enjoys creating shows that make kids, and even teens happy. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case, nor is it the whole story. @Logan Lynn It isn't nice do such a thing of that his shows were nice. I feel like he did deserve to be fired, For young actresses they must of been traumatized! Jennette Mcurrdy was traumatized and her mom forced her to act even though she didn't want to, I feel so bad for them they were uncomfortable and they made themselves uncomfortable ,traumatized, and a little upset just to make up happy! They almost destroyed Ariana Grande's hair it is for dyeing it red. That is why she always has a pony tail sometimes! I hope you understand now but I feel horrible for them so I hope you understand!

Idk if you heard her podcast about her mother. Jennette McCurdy never wanted to act, when she was 13 her mother forced her to act because she used her as the only source of income for the family.

We will all miss Jennette as Sam, but before you go tell to to consider acting again, just put yourself in her shoes. And even if your still sad, remember it is still just a tv show. (A VERY GOOD ONE) but u don’t need to get TOO upset about it.

@@drmott_gaming2392 Idk, based on what I have read, only Jennette Mccurdy and another girl on Zoey 101 have reported something negative happening while they were on their shows which led to them not coming back. If Dan would have done something bad, a lot of people would have come out a long time ago. Unless if they are in a NDA.
