The disney shared universe is interesting because now I'm wondering if Raven can be seen as witch who's family has slipped by the wizard council from Waverly Place
i mean raven is more like a Seer/Psychic than a witch but its likely she had an ancestor who previously was from the wizard world and got past down that power from genes it just dosnt make sense for her to be from the wizard world and escaped but never says anything about it at all we also see someone else who can see in the future just like raven the seventh episode of Season 3 where she meets a boy named Ben who can also see into the future and is a psychic, raven and him can have Double visions by combining both of their powers also both of ravens kids got passed down the Psychic powers in "Ravens Home" overall i think my theory of her powers being passed down by anscestors is a possibility however there is a character named Dr. Sleevemore Who can TAKE peoples Psychic powers like he tried to do on Booker later on in Ravens Home. he has a lab with other people with powers like Telekinesis and pyrokinetic powers(Controlling Fire) and can have visions without Freezing and looking into the sky and has visions while he talks and moves normally, he can also Move things with his mind and has telekenesis, since we see a lot of people with these powers in Thats So Raven this leads me to believe these powers originated from the wizard world or something its hard to say
It's honestly so disappointing to see that so many specials of iCarly and Victorious were only about boys. Them dating boys, fighting over boys, being shipped with a boy, boys cheating, boys becoming evil because they are rejected. I wish I would have had strong role models when I was younger and watch shows that really are about women and their knowledge, skills and power. Not Creddie versus Seddie for 1 hour long or some creepy Nevil kid ruining someone's life because they declined them a kiss. What kind of example do we give young teens here?...
honestly as a kid and even as an adult, i find romantic plotlines to be so boring an uninteresting and i hate how often female characters are used for ship fodder
Eh, it's a show about teens in school, it's not bad to have a heavy emphasis on the relationships they have in that time. And from the description of the shows, it is about women who do things and some of those happen to involve romance with the opposite sex. How does ICarly not show off the main character's skill? She has a successful webshow. And Victoria shows off the main character's singing and success that brings her, right?
In the earlier seasons they got some things right, but it always confused me how they never talked about monetization, it’s implied they make no money from the webshow which is weird (please make a video on paranorman 🙂)
Backhouse Mike is also *married* to Elizabeth Gillies (Jade from Victorious). Completely wild that this man was in his 30’s, writing songs for other Nickelodeon shows, when his now-wife was 12 years old and probably *watching* these shows. Then went on to use this job with Nickelodeon to meet his future spouse when she was a teenager 😶
I deleted memories about Nickelodeons shows from my life because stories behind that is atrocious, some of the lives are ruined, people gets S/A behind stages of Nickelodeon, just Creeps fuck Nickelodeon
The Dan’s shows leave a sour taste in my mouth now that castmates have come forward with what really went down behind the scenes. The cast themselves may look back at some good memories maybe, but the bad is just…
According to Sloan, he has received a cease and desist from talking about Backhouse Mike and Liz. Maybe there’s a reason why it’s not as talked about as it should be.
FUN FACT-the Icarly/victorious crossover special is non canon to the SCU(Synder cinematic universe). As in Sam and cat episode 1,the acknowledge that this is the first time Sam and cat are meeting, and later when Sam meets jade
No, Sam and Cat just didn't meet at that time and neither did Sam and Jade. We just saw them meet together as groups with their own show cast members, but not as indviduals. Even though it makes sense to believe they did or would meet then sometime after the special ended, I can buy that not being the case as there was many other people and things going on at that event for them to actually meet face-to-face.
I mean do you remember everyone you saw at someone's 18th birthday party or at some party in a club? Of course not. It's totally believable that Sam doesn't remember someone she saw at a party of like what 250 people
@@lakyak you know, now that I’m thinking about, how much time is passing between these shows.even in the last season of Icarly there’s not even a mention of graduation, and in Sam in cat,Sam dosent go to school so I’m assuming she graduated between the 2 shows, but cat is still going to Hollywood arts, so what.
You missed the episode when Sam’s sister Melanie came to help her with pranking Cat. Even tho she was played by Jennette I do consider Melanie to be a character from the icarly series
i haven’t watched the whole thing yet but the situation where they kept making Drake dumber and dumber reminds me of Cat in Victorious. In the first episode, Cat had a normal voice and was pretty good at comprehending things but as the series went on, she just kept getting dumbed down and they started making her stupid
You talked about how in poor taste the icarly specials were but can we give a special mention to how disgraceful that FRED episode was? Freddie literally gets physically assaulted multiple times and essentially gets the canceled treatment because he didnt like a youtuber that was popular lmao. Even as a kid I remember feeling a bit awkward about that episode but just didn't Realize why exactly until I was older.
I realized that too, recently. But what always got me was that out of all the things they could have bullied Freddie over for a whole episode, it had to be him not finding FRED funny. Like, really?? I agree with Freddie on this one. Then of course the episode ends with Sam beating him up and strangling him until he apologizes to Lucas Crookshank (or whatever his real name was). It did have one funny part, though: Spencer (while being attacked by an off-screen horror): "IT'S EITHER A SMALL BEAR, OR A LARGE DOG!!" Lucas (calmly): "That's my dog Tibbles!" *Spencer gets dragged away*
The Disney Universe makes even less sense when you remember that Jessie had an appearance by Mr. Moseby and a direct reference to Zack and Cody, meaning that show is part of the shared universe...and then Jessie had a crossover with the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon which itself is connected to several other Marvel cartoons at the time which would mean those shows are also connected to Zack and Cody, That's so Raven, Hanna Montanna, and others meaning the rabbit hole of the Disney Channel extended universe goes deeper than anyone thought possible.
The Disney ones I believe were just for laughs. Like haha this makes no sense and we know that and they know that we know that this makes no sense. For example with Jessie’s actor literally playing a different character on Suite life, so they would have moments where characters are like “you know you look exactly like…” when of course she looks like her their the same person 😂
@@Rosyandguildy yeah cause its the same for Zack and Cody when they did the episode performing High School Musical and kept making jokes about how Maddie looked like Sharpay XDD
On top of that, The Marvel Cartoons that Ultimate Spider-Man was apart of actually had a crossover with Phineas & Ferb. And not only was it better than those shows, but that also means Phienas & Ferb is in the same universe as the Disney Channel Sitcoms… which makes it more weirder that it also crossovers with other Disney Animated shows like Kim Possible, or Gravity Falls, or even Big City Greens or the Owl House.
I don’t mind when they reference other shows as “shows” but sometimes I find some plots more interesting if it was within universe. Like Helen having her own talk show, why couldn’t instead Matt Bennot guest star on the Helen show, an older Robbie guest stars. And Nathan Kress guest starring on Game Shakers as himself, would have been much more interesting if Game Shakers girls tracked down Freddie in Seattle on who he liked more.
For real, though! This is all completely possible within the established canon, so why not? Heck! Drake Parker had a music career in Drake and Josh. Not that successful at the time, but he could've been on his way to success by the time of his cameo on Zoey 101. Why couldn't it have been Parker instead of Bell. Literally only one word in the script really would've needed to be changed
Fr but I am pretty sure it doesn't connect to the universe and it's just funny mentenions think if those moments as bloopers that don't connect with the universe that's what I think
@@littlegreensunflower3547 Actually, that scene is the main argument for what I call Reality Show Theory. We already know that Drake Bell exists in the NSU, because of his appearance in the backstage portions of the Amanda Show. So the fact that the same clip is simultaneously Drake Bell playing at PCA in Zoey 101 and Drake Parker playing at PCA in Drake and Josh can be explained by Drake and Josh just being a reality show, with their last names changed. Similarly, iCarly's fictional status within Game Shakers can be explained by saying that it's actually the blooper episodes that take place in the shared reality, not the show itself. There are just two main details that contradict this theory: * Sam and Cat exist at different levels of reality, so their show cannot coexist with Nathan Kress's appearance on Game Shakers. (However, if Freddy had appeared, it would have still been possible) * Rex and Matt Bennett exist at different levels of reality, so Rex's appearance on Game Shakers just doesn't make sense at all, and it really should have been Christopher Kane appearing instead
The new icarly was way to liberal culture snobby rich people felt way to feminine. I see reactions of guys watching the new icarly and like it. I couldn’t watch it. Feels way too girly
I still can't get over the contradiction of iCarly and Victorious referencing Drake & Josh as a show in universe, while their combined direct sequel Sam & Cat PHYSICALLY SHOWS CRAZY STEVE IN A CAMEO ON THE GIBBY EPISODE
My favorite part to think abt in the Schneider universe is that Austin Butler makes an appearance in all these shit shows as different people with the same storyline of being hot and perfect
I imagine in one of these shows, taking place in a far off distant future with robots, ships, and interstellar travel - they'll just have Gibby's head be the only thing to survive the centuries.
@@HYP3M0D368he also made Alexa squirt slime on zoey multiple times during the shooting of zoey 101 and even laughed that it was like a cumshot (both were underage) Not to mention he made girls do things with their feet as fetish so it’s not just verbal abuse.
Well actually, Drake isn’t dumb he just doesn’t apply himself. In the episode where he, Josh, and Megan sneak out to ride a rollercoaster, Drake does some rlly good math in under 10 seconds to calculate when they need to come back home. He’s not a genius or anything, but he could be a straight A student if he wanted to. He just doesn’t think school is important.
well yeah you can say that... OR its just a common sitcom Trope where dumb characters become smart for 5 seconds and then everyone else says "wow you actually said something smart for once" happend with Patrick from spongebob Max russo from wizards of waverly place, and so many others obviously drake can be smart in the things he loves but not spelling reading or ANYTHING to do with school
I think for Henry danger, only specific cities have public superheroes, for example, swellview is like a more light hearted version of Gotham because the town is very tech based and over time became more advanced than other parts of America, then there’s Dystopia (a place in the Henry danger world) where vigilantes fight crime. Then in Hiddenvile, (The thundermans city), the thundermans are public superheroes similar to kid danger and captain man. There’s likely vigilantes in the iCarly, Zoey 101, Drake and Josh and Victorious cities but nothing as mainstream and captain man, kid danger or the thundermans. Had Henry Danger came out in the 2000s I’m sure there would’ve been references to them in the earlier Nick shows. Game shakers couldn’t go 5 minutes without referencing Henry danger…
Funny how The Thundermans isn't even a Dan Schneider show, Nick just did as Nick does with big ol' Mr. Krabs dollar signs in their eyes and made a crossover between their two superhero sitcoms.
@@JosieAller yeah interesting than it properly shows were the characters started out before they hit the big time although wouldn't know for sure unless ask feet fan dan but i don't suggest that
The thing that pissed me off about Helen appearing in Victorious is how literary in the following episode they reference Drake and Josh as a tv show so they immediately contradicted themselves... also there was this successful guy from Sam and Cat who looked like he was homeless but his lifes always "going great", he showed up in an episode of Henry Danger.
I know you were just focusing on the Schneider made shows but Henry Danger did make superheroes and villains canon throughout the whole world by crossing over with The Thundermans. Thanks to that, it basically canonized superheroes throughout the world besides just Swellview.
The idea that Drake & Josh would be basically be a reality show and that Walter and Audrey never knew that Megan really was doing terrible things is just crazy
I would like to add that Austin Bulter was a reoccurring background character for Zoey101 and iCarly. He was even a small love interest for Stacy in one episode as "Dannifer" (idk if the spelling is right or not). So he is in the Zoey101 universe as two (possibly three characters if his regular background character isn't the same as his Dannifer character) separate characters. Also Leon Thomas III, aka Andre on Victorious, was in an episode of iCarly. It was the episode when iCarly was going to be on TV but the director kept on making big changes to make it "better". I forget Leon's character's name but he plays the keyboard for the iCarly show production. The only DS show that didn't seem crazy while watching it was Drake and Josh. And I think it's because the two main characters were male and white. Every other show seems to have yucky scenes shoved in as much as possible.
I mean yes, but I don’t think it’s because they were white. After all, they still managed to add Rex, so they don’t actually need POC present to make it awkward. I think they just got worse about racial sensitivity as time went in. Also Crazy Steve exists.
One of the biggest examples of the shows devolving is how cheap the sets begin to look over time. Plus they seem to get less grounded and more wackier as time goes by.
I remember when the Thundermans and that one ghost show had a crossover and the Thundermans also had a crossover with Henry Danger, it was short but still happened
yeah all of these shows are connected people claim that Cats crazy brother is actually the villain Frankini Valentine from Henry danger because he is the REAL life brother of Arianna grande in real life and Cats friend Goomer from sam and cat is Frankinis Side kick, goomer also mentions to captain man that he "used to hang out with Frankinis sister"
yeah the way these shows connect is pretty interesting especially the fact that Drake and josh is shown to be a TV show inside of the TV shows since we see in icarly and in Victorious them watching drake and josh similar to how characters watched "Celebrities Underwater" throughout the various shows but Hellen had mentioned that she used to work at the Premiere in Victorious we also see Crazy steve in the Mental Asylum during the Sam and cat episode where Nevel and Nora return so that is weird that Drake and josh is a show but they also Exist in the ACTUAL canon universe of the Dan Schneider Verse. when i think of that it Reminds me of that one Drake and Josh episode called "drew and Jerry" where josh finds a new friend that acted exactly like drake called Drew and drake got jealous because he was getting replaced so he got a Friend that acted exactly like Josh called Jerry at the end the friends they both found started befriending each other instead of drake and josh and a show producer thought their chemestry was good so they made a show called Drew and Jerry basically the SAME thing as Drake and Josh but inside of the Drake and Josh show maybe something similar happend wich is unlikely and is probably just Contradictions made by the writers
yeah, I know what you mean. It always bothered me that Drake & Josh was an in-universe show, and yet Helen was meant to be working at the Premiere? It's stupidly inconsistent.
To the defense of Robbie singing the song to Sam, throughout Victorious whenever Robbie would do something to try and show how much he likes Cat, she would usually respond by smiling and thanking him before basically telling him ‘No’ when he’d ask if they could date. Implying that she might like him, but she doesn’t want to be with him. While singing a song he wrote for someone else to someone is rude to that other person, when that person kept leading him on to an extent, if he thinks he could be with a girl who would actually want to be with him, it’s not the worst thing. He has some justification. I always felt bad for Robbie. I know he was too desperate for a date but when he genuinely showed his feelings to Cat, she’d always blow him off even if she showed that she might have a crush on him. It felt like she was leading him on to some extent.
I think you’re right in a sense she might’ve had a crush on Robbie but we can’t forget how creepy he was. Some things that come to mind is his cardboard cut outs of her, his desperation and low key obsessiveness with her. Cat is a naturally bubbly person who smiles a lot and is not always mentally there. It would make sense she smiles or laughs and even appreciates what he does but ultimately she is not interested. He should take the first hint and first no and move on instead of incessantly trying. Obviously his efforts are in vain.
@@randomvideos3670 In an episode near the end, I’m pretty sure he was moving on from her and she got jealous. She tried to make him jealous but accidentally got hurt by Sinjin. The two talk and when Robbie kisses her, she runs off even though earlier in the episode she realized that she liked Robbie. She is interested in him but she refuses to be with him. Yes Robbie can be creepy but that doesn’t give Cat the right to lead him on. I mean she turned him down at the beginning of the episode and he got another date. He was moving on but she got jealous and went out of her way to try and make him jealous only to once again turn him down even though she did all that thanks to having feelings for him. He’s shown to be willing to move on to another girl in other episodes too. And yes he can be creepy but look at how he’s treated by most of his ‘friends.’ I’m sure he spent most of his life being mocked or bullied which is what lead to him using Rex. Of course that would eventually lead to him acting how he does now.
@@NarutoTsunadefan1 Idc how bad someone treats you it’s no excuse to be creepy. If someone is creepy just saying no but still being treated with basic human decency can still be seen as being led on to a creep. Know your worth and get better friends. I’m not going back and forth over a show made by a creepy bitch. Stop making excuses for and giving creeps the benefit of the doubt. That shows again cat has somewhat of a crush on him. Cat is weird for that for sure but my point still stands. Not everybody you have a crush on leads to dating. It’s a tv show with barely any consistency nonetheless. Thank you for your response, I didn’t recall that episode.
And 1 thing is the Snider Universe is held at such High regard at Nickelodeon while any other Live action show is like a Step Show like Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide which had an idea for a continuation but nickelodeon said no even though the 3 main Cast and Scott Fellows the Creator was even there to help coming up with an idea
Finalmente alguém que considera falar de Henry Danger e Game Shakers, sendo profissional e ignorando que não valem a pena ver mas assistir para entender tudo isso!
Drake & Josh always talked to the audience before the show so it made sense it was a show about a show, especially because they started on The Amanda Show
The only contradiction that can be seen in this whole mess is the appearance of iCarly as a web show in Zoey 101 and the appearance of Zoey 101 as a TV show in Sam and Cat. The remaining appearances of the same people in different universes can be explained by the fact that perhaps in the Henry Dangerous universe there is a villain who knows how to move people between universes (it could be Frankini). Among those moved are: Goomer, Josh Nichols( Helen, Crazy Steve, Craig and Eric, Gavin, Quinn Pensky, Stacey Dillsen and maybe even Cat Valentine (this is just my guess although we haven’t seen Cat in the Henry Danger universe). However, there is an explanation for the intertwining of the universes of Zoey 101 iCarly and Sam and Cat. Perhaps in Zoey 101 the iCarly website was presented as a real iCarly website for fans of the TV show and in Zoey 101 the site of the real iCarly TV show was simply shown. But, if in the universe of iCarly and Sam & Cat, the same Sam watches Zoey 101 and sees that their website was shown, then it will be quite strange. My theory is based on the fact that in these 7 shoudan there are 4 universes. The first is the Drake and Josh universe without sequels. The second is the Zoey 101 universe with a reboot in the form of Zoey 102. The third is the iCarly universe, which includes 3 more shows: Victorious, Sam & Cat and iCarly reboot. The fourth universe is the Henry Danger universe, which includes 2 more shows: Game Shakers and Danger Force. We can see confirmation of all this in the shows themselves, except for Drake and Josh, since this was the first show that began the universe of Dan Schneider. Let's start with Drake and Josh. In Zoey 101, Drake and Josh is shown as a TV show and evidence of this is Dake's performance as Drake Bell and not Drake Parker. This proves that Zoey 101 and Drake and Josh are in different universes. In iCarly, Victorious and in Sam & Cat, Drake and Josh is also shown as a TV show. This is seen several times in iCarly. In some episodes, you hear that Carly is watching the TV show Drake and Josh and in the episode IParty when Spencer's ex-girlfriend gives Gibbie a cap with the logo of the TV show Drake and Josh. Victorious also talks about Drake and Josh as a TV show in the episode where Trina performs and gets hurt. In Sam & Cat you can clearly see Sam switching channels and there you can see Drake and Josh as a TV show too. We conclude from this that Drake and Josh are a separate universe. Now we look at Zoey 101 and the iCarly universe. From the above (the moment with Sam and switching channels) it is clear that Zoe 101 and the iCarly universe are also different universes. I don't think there is any explanation for why Henry Danger's universe is also separate. In the episode where Matt Bennett and Nathan Kress appear, everything is clear. I also wanted to add that the appearances of Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress in Victorious are not themselves. This is just Freddie and Spencer. Because if it were them, Victorious would be a separate universe from iCarly, which is refuted by the iParty episode and the entire sitcom Sam & Cat. The only strange moment is the appearance of Josh Peck in Victorious. If this is Josh Nichols, then he can be considered one of those displaced through the universes, which is logical because in the displaced characters you can see workers of the San Diego cinema. But if it's Josh Peck himself, then it's quite strange, because if it's Josh Peck himself, then in all the shows in this universe he should be Josh Peck because he's a real person. However, this is not true because in the iCarly reboot we see that Josh Peck plays the role of Paul.
i feel like this is the most logical explanation, the only thing is that the icarly reboot doesn’t count as it’s technically not in schneider’s universe
19:46 It took me 10 years to realize that Beggin on Your Knees was a dollar store ripoff of Katy Perry's Part of Me. Part of Me wasn't released until 2012, but the demo was written and recorded in 2010. Buying out an expensive demo from Katy Perry was never an option for Dan, so instead he had his music team write a ripoff. If you listen to BOYK, you can tell Victoria Justice was told to emulate Katy's singing style.
I don't really hear it tbh but I recently learned that Take a Hint is a cover, the original is by meghan kabir and Give it Up has high resemblance to Lady Marmalade. I wonder how many songs are also "inspired".
Oh my God I never realized this shit -- and I remember being obsessed w finding "twin" songs when I was in HS in the early 2010s (ex how the chord progression for TikTok by Kesha was v similar to California Gurls by Katy, and how Last Friday Night by Katy was similar to Domino by Jessie J etc. Dr Luke loved recycling shit back then lmao.)
I really shouldn’t be surprised by the fact that Nickelodeon producers okayed a character’s name to be, “Gooch” in one of their shows… likeee damn, the sexual innuendos in these kid aimed shows never stopped; even decades after I stopped watching during their peak. 😬
You forgot to mention that Henry Danger had a crossover with The Thundermans which connected them to the Schneider-verse, along those lines Thundermans also had a crossover with The Haunted Hathaway’s
t-bo and gibby being your favorite icarly characters tells me everything i need to know - you are awesome! i grew up watching all these shows but never realized how much they really overlapped :O
The more shows Dan makes, the less logical the lore gets. I mean we went from two cool dudes hanging out to four verry annoying kids making bad mobile games being in the same universe.
Did you all know about Madisyn Shipman? She is now on Playboy. It makes sense, especially when you realize who created Game Shakers, the show she was in: Dan Schneider.
I know you’re a small channel so I wanted to say I love your videos and keep up the hard work! I can tell you put a lot into these videos 🥰 you’re gonna go far ! 💯
You know, there actually is a crossover in these shows that is actually so groundbreaking that it is weird that nobody talks. Although to be fair, it happened in Game Shakers, so it’s understandable why no one knows about it. And is as follows: in season 2 of Game Shakers, the Gang goes to the Central Park from the TV show Friends. And I don‘t mean just the set, but even Gunther from that Show appears and says that the Wi-fi password of the Cafe is „IhateRoss“, cementing even further that this is indeed the location of the show Friends. This brings up numerous things: 1 This implies that the Nickelodeon Sitcoms share the same Universe as the NBC Sitcom universe, because of how many crossover there were Actors from friends just came up in other sitcoms on the same network and vice-versa. For example when Phoebe‘s sister was a waitress in „Mad about You“, and when Characters from that show met Kramer from Seinfeld. 2. it already was established that Friends is a fictional story within the Nickelodeon universe, especially when there was a joke in Icarly where it said that David Schwimmer drowned (which sadly is in even more poor taste now, RIP Matthew Perry.) Even as a Kid watching Game Shakers (it was Free on a Nickelodeon app and I didn’t had anything better to do) I was like „wait what?“ and as a kid that watched Game Shakers you can believe me that it takes something to make you realize how stupid this show was.
this video was how i described most of my time watching Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, and noticing so many easter eggs from different easter eggs, or atleast they were just there as references that they are in the same crossover universe
@@urmaskedboiI only saw three episodes of The Thundermans just because of how hot Phoebe was but got bored because they never did anything interesting with the premise and dipped out. I will say that I hadn't watched a live action Nick show til Hunter Street, then I Am Frankie and eventually The Astronauts, Side Hustle, Drama Club, The Barbarian and The Troll and Warped which I didn't get into after until the crossover between ALL of their sitcoms that were airing at the same time, which was after the show aired what would be their final episode and before they announced the cancellation of the show. It's depressing because even though I was in my 20s, all of these live action shows that I got into were their last GOOD live action shows😔
I love things like this since most media that can fit in the same universe as another. Like the Brad Pitt movie Seven which a lot of people like to imagine is in Gotham.
Can we talk about the fact that Henry Danger had a crossover with Thundermans that also had a crossover with The Haunted Hathaways? Which not only means that superpowers exist in this universe, but ghosts as well.
I'm with you my friend I wasn't born in the nineties either I was born in the early 2000's but I remember on TeenNick back in 2011 they rent a television block late at night called the 90s are all that where they used to air shows like all that kenan & Kel Rugrats hey Arnold Clarissa explains it All and other shows but then they discontinue the block back in 2021 and can I just tell you it's ridiculous that Teenick only has Henry danger and danger Force as the only two shows that still are nothing else because honestly I'd rather watch victorious and the old Zoey 101 episodes but I can't afford streaming and I refuse to save up for Paramount plus I'd rather just go on a strike in protest for Teenick to are more old shows and original series
That makes sense! I never watched Teen Nick only Nickelodeon and they never ran reruns of All That or Kenan and Kel so it was fun watching them for this video
i watched game shakers and continuously felt bad for kenzie cos she weas the only one who took her work seriously cos she was genuinely passionate abt it. Babe and the gang were nice as friends, but they lowkey held my girl back
Fun fact: ICarly had an episode where the cast meets Fred. This means that the Fred Movies and the Fred show are in the same universe as the Schnider shows. Edit: Henry Danger also crossovered with the Thundemans, another Nickelodeon sitcom starring superheroes. I can’t believe you didn’t talk about that show.
I think the reason why it’s such a mess is because of lazy writing. With the amount of work Dan was doing for Nickelodeon during his tenure and most of the actors were probably under contract, it would make sense he would just recycle characters whether it made sense or not. It also explains why a lot of his jokes are so derivative, the majority of the adults are written to be dumb, and he recycles plot lines on multiple occasions. Yes, there are some good jokes and references here and there but the further you get into the Schnieders Bakery productions, the lazy the writing gets.
Henry danger also has a crossover with The Thundermans and The thundermans has one with The haunted Hathaways. If you wanna take it even further at 59:17 the girl Gibby is with plays the yellow ranger in Power Rangers Megaforce, and at the series finale they had all the power rangers. Including the space rangers which had a crossover with teenage mutant ninja turtles, which are all Nickelodeon shows.
10 minutes in and I gotta say this is an amazing video. You laid a good foundation and set up for the rest of the video very well. Very well done Good sir
I've never put too much thought into the premise that Dan Scheidner shows share a cinematic universe, but off the top of my head, I'd say that any appearances and references to other shows are merely easter eggs, whereas the appearances of in-universe characters and fourth-well-breaking actors are actual instances of sharing a cinematic universe. This obviously is a sloppy theory, but it's the best that I can come up with.
Tbh I don’t think they out much thought into a connected universe, so much as putting in these references as fanfare and place holders for episode ideas. But then I realized this is Nickelodeon, the kids tv network infamous for beating a dead horse into paste so long as the show makes money. So what if these Easter eggs and crossovers were sequel bait? Like testing the waters with fans to see if a revival would be profitable?
unsure if you mentioned this in the rest of the video, but henry danger being in the same universe as icarly explains why spencer sets everything on fire
Not sure if this was mentioned, but Henry Danger the show has Goomer from Sam and Cat, connecting it to ICarly not being a show(but say for example Gibby could show up if he wanted). Game Shakers lives in the universe where ICarly was a show and Nathan Kress is an actor who played Freddy. Yet they did a cross over with both shows which now makes my head spin.
This isn’t the first time Dan has ripped off from another show… the Kenan and Kel episode where they accidentally lose/kill his dads bird is the same episode of Martin when Gina kills his momma’s bird.
So I wanna give some personal input on why I think there's no need to be confused about the Schneiderverse but first there's one overly sexual scene that made me feel uncomfortable as a kid that wasn't mentioned in a video, since that topic was mentioned [Skip ahead if you don't want to read that part] In a late episode of Zoey101 Quinn lirerally invents a "breast inflation" device to make her appear more busty. She shows it off to the rest of the group and they all commend her. Now the weird thing about Zoey 101 is that the show starts with Zoey being 13, but the show's 4 seasons are somewhat meant to represent 4 years of high school? Which 13 is way too young for? Regardless, chronological progression is very weird in that show. My point is I can understand that Quinn would invent something like this if they're all seniors and more mature but at the same time this is a kids show that only aired for 3 years so even if you were 13 like Zoey (and most of the audience was younger) the characters aged much faster than the viewer and to someone like me who saw this episode when aged 7-9 (i don't quite remember) I felt weirded out by this concept. In hindsight it makes much more sense and I wonder if any women who were more mature at the time saw this bit and felt insecure about their smaller chests because they were indirectly portrayed as "unattractive" and "undesirable" [End of the sexual sidenote] But coming back to the actual universe. I think to the directing team at Schneider's Bakery these guest appaerances were nothing but fun bits to promote other Schneider productions that were airing simultaneously (like D&J and Zoey 101 or iCarly and Victorious or Henry Danger and the Game Shakers) or just nostalgia themed afterthoughts to give a nod to older audiences still watching. As a kid who grew up with Drake & Josh and Zoey 101 at first, seeing them referenced and included in shows like Victorious or Sam & Cat was petty to me but the people around me loved it. (i personally thought it's just nickelodeon flexing their rights, which is also why SpongeBob gets talked about ib some shows) there's no consistency between the canonical interconnection of these shows because there was never meant to be one. This makes more sense when you add in the layer that some shows have crossovers with non-Schneider shows. The best example being the Henry Danger/Thundermans Crossover. The Thundermans are from a universe where there are superheroes everywhere and there's even a global council tor them. Them being in the same universe as Henry Danger would then imply that there's literally Superheroes being out and about in ALL dan schneider shows. So why DIDN'T the Thundermans save Drake and Josh trapped in a Treehouse? Or kidnapped by money counterfeiters? I personally think there's no such thing as a Schneiderverse and every show is Independent from each other, even though the same characters exist. It is definitely more a Multiverse situation if anything
1:10:45 I love how he’s shocked by this like they didn’t kill a villain in the damn pilot lol (he actually turned out to be alive, but they were shocked by it so they definitely thought they murdered that guy. Henry’s first day too!)
i like to imagine after the ending of victorious it just splits off into two timelines (kinda like halloween!) where theres the icarly revival timeline and then theres the sam&cat timeline
18:58 Probably has nothing to do, but Sinjin (or Shinjin) in japanese means "New guy" or "newcomer" (which depending on the situation, can mean unadapted) XD was it intentional?
The reuse of actors doesn’t automatically mean each of the show are in the same universe. Nathan Kress appears in Game Shakers, but it’s just Nathan Kress and not Freddie Benson. Drake Bell in Zoey 101 isn’t Drake Bell from Drake & Josh. They’re just the same actors who played them playing a fictional version of themselves.
there is an episode of ultimate spider-man that had a jessie crossover which means that jessie and any other crossover with jessie takes place in a marvel universe with spider-man and avengers
41:04 - 42:11 : i'm half a year late but there is an episode of iCarly in witch Spencer joins a band, they later kick him out, however, it is said later in the show that they release a song that goes "baby, will you take me back, there i said it, i said it." and in many other shows in the Dan-Schnieder universe characters are seen listening to that song! another example of shared media! Edit: The song is also by Backhouse Mike
Iirc the shipping episodes started when Nickelodeon made Dan Schneider write iKiss Freddie and he kept getting mounting pressure to write shipping episodes even though he didn't want to both by fans and by the network. The reason that comic con episode is so angry at the fans is because it was made after Dan Schneider was harassed off Live Journal by fans angry their ship wasn't being played into. So it was his attempt to get people to stop asking for shipping episodes.
So as for Drake and Josh being a tv show yet "real" in the Dan-Schneider Universe, my theory is that the Drake and Josh people watch in the universe is the Drake and Josh of that universe. By that I mean you know how Terrance and Phillip are the South Park within South Park? It's like that. And I forget what episode of Drake and Josh this happened but Drake gets a new friend that's just like Josh and Josh gets a friend that's just like Drake and by episode's end Drake and Josh are watching the friends they made earlier on their own show, so I guess that's the Drake and Josh within Drake and Josh
The disney shared universe is interesting because now I'm wondering if Raven can be seen as witch who's family has slipped by the wizard council from Waverly Place
Wait ! I never thought about it...
That's such a good point
But the only other psychic in Raven’s family other than Booker was her maternal grandmother.
i mean raven is more like a Seer/Psychic than a witch but its likely she had an ancestor who previously was from the wizard world and got past down that power from genes it just dosnt make sense for her to be from the wizard world and escaped but never says anything about it at all we also see someone else who can see in the future just like raven the seventh episode of Season 3 where she meets a boy named Ben who can also see into the future and is a psychic, raven and him can have Double visions by combining both of their powers also both of ravens kids got passed down the Psychic powers in "Ravens Home" overall i think my theory of her powers being passed down by anscestors is a possibility however there is a character named Dr.
Knowing the wizard council, I’m not surprised there are some holes like that
It's honestly so disappointing to see that so many specials of iCarly and Victorious were only about boys.

I feel like I should watch iCarly now to see how it compares to being an actual content creator.
In the earlier seasons they got some things right, but it always confused me how they never talked about monetization, it’s implied they make no money from the webshow which is weird (please make a video on paranorman 🙂)

FUN FACT-the Icarly/victorious crossover special is non canon to the SCU(Synder cinematic universe). As in Sam and cat episode 1,the acknowledge that this is the first time Sam and cat are meeting, and later when Sam meets jade
I always felt it was weird because Sam is essentially a celebrity, I’d definitely remember doing karaoke with Beyoncé

Yea anyone who doesn’t like something popular is attacked it’s just weird frankly
That episode always made me uncomfortable but I never knew why
I realized that too, recently. But what always got me was that out of all the things they could have bullied Freddie over for a whole episode, it had to be him not finding FRED funny. Like, really?? I agree with Freddie on this one.
Then of course the episode ends with Sam beating him up and strangling him until he apologizes to Lucas Crookshank (or whatever his real name was).
It did have one funny part, though:
Spencer (while being attacked by an off-screen horror): "IT'S EITHER A SMALL BEAR, OR A LARGE DOG!!"
Lucas (calmly): "That's my dog Tibbles!"
*Spencer gets dragged away*

@@ShockwaveFPSStudios no, that doesn’t count. That’s just using the same voice actors for other media.

@@Zed840-k8owhat you think?
There are just two main details that contradict this theory:
* Sam and Cat exist at different levels of reality, so their show cannot coexist with Nathan Kress's appearance on Game Shakers. (However, if Freddy had appeared, it would have still been possible)
* Rex and Matt Bennett exist at different levels of reality, so Rex's appearance on Game Shakers just doesn't make sense at all, and it really should have been Christopher Kane appearing instead

I know you were just focusing on the Schneider made shows but Henry Danger did make superheroes and villains canon throughout the whole world by crossing over with The Thundermans. Thanks to that, it basically canonized superheroes throughout the world besides just Swellview.
I was thinking the same thing I rlly wondered where the thunder man's were cos they r Conon with eachother. Tysm for pointing this out.

Also Crazy Steve exists.

yeah the way these shows connect is pretty interesting especially the fact that Drake and josh is shown to be a TV show inside of the TV shows since we see in icarly and in Victorious them watching drake and josh similar to how characters watched "Celebrities Underwater" throughout the various shows but Hellen had mentioned that she used to work at the Premiere in Victorious we also see Crazy steve in the Mental Asylum during the Sam and cat episode where Nevel and Nora return so that is weird that Drake and josh is a show but they also Exist in the ACTUAL canon universe of the Dan Schneider Verse. when i think of that it Reminds me of that one Drake and Josh episode called "drew and Jerry" where josh finds a new friend that acted exactly like drake called Drew and drake got jealous because he was getting replaced so he got a Friend that acted exactly like Josh called Jerry at the end the friends they both found started befriending each other instead of drake and josh and a show producer thought their chemestry was good so they made a show called Drew and Jerry basically the SAME thing as Drake and Josh but inside of the Drake and Josh show maybe something similar happend wich is unlikely and is probably just Contradictions made by the writers

It's stupidly inconsistent.
That one episode where Robbie and Cat had their clothes stolen was weird asf. The one about those purple jumpsuits that Cat bought lots of.
Pajelehoochoos!
That was actually the last aired episode 😭

Among those moved are:
Goomer, Josh Nichols( Helen, Crazy Steve, Craig and Eric, Gavin, Quinn Pensky, Stacey Dillsen and maybe even Cat Valentine (this is just my guess although we haven’t seen Cat in the Henry Danger universe).
@@torilynn357 yes but it is related to iCarly and i used it to explain Josh Peck’s moments
Mind blown
But how did Dan Schneider know about part of me if it wasn’t released for 2 more years you’re comment makes no sense for that reason.
I really shouldn’t be surprised by the fact that Nickelodeon producers okayed a character’s name to be, “Gooch” in one of their shows… likeee damn, the sexual innuendos in these kid aimed shows never stopped; even decades after I stopped watching during their peak. 😬
In an episode of Victorious, one of the places they visit is called "Wanko's"...
Lol burf from victorious's name comes from an inside joke from the cast about a character named "burf dafect"
I was under the impression that Unfabulous and The Thundermans were also part of this universe
Knight Squad, Haunted Hathaways, Side Hustle and Warped too
You forgot to mention that Henry Danger had a crossover with The Thundermans which connected them to the Schneider-verse, along those lines Thundermans also had a crossover with The Haunted Hathaway’s
t-bo and gibby being your favorite icarly characters tells me everything i need to know - you are awesome! i grew up watching all these shows but never realized how much they really overlapped :O
Dollaz + Sense
So Frankie Grande is on season 16 of Big Brother, and at some point he wears the same shirt and jacket that he wore on Henry danger.
I know you’re a small channel so I wanted to say I love your videos and keep up the hard work! I can tell you put a lot into these videos 🥰 you’re gonna go far ! 💯
Wow thank you so much I appreciate it! 😭
This brings up numerous things:
1 This implies that the Nickelodeon Sitcoms share the same Universe as the NBC Sitcom universe, because of how many crossover there were Actors from friends just came up in other sitcoms on the same network and vice-versa. For example when Phoebe‘s sister was a waitress in „Mad about You“, and when Characters from that show met Kramer from Seinfeld.
2. it already was established that Friends is a fictional story within the Nickelodeon universe, especially when there was a joke in Icarly where it said that David Schwimmer drowned (which sadly is in even more poor taste now, RIP Matthew Perry.)
Even as a Kid watching Game Shakers (it was Free on a Nickelodeon app and I didn’t had anything better to do) I was like „wait what?“ and as a kid that watched Game Shakers you can believe me that it takes something to make you realize how stupid this show was.
Wow that is crazy.
I just watched it though and the actor is not gunther
I think the best answer is "it's whatever"
The writers don't really care, they just do whatever they want in the moment
this video was how i described most of my time watching Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, and noticing so many easter eggs from different easter eggs, or atleast they were just there as references that they are in the same crossover universe
i have a whole list of things that connect the dan schneider universe together, which also includes shows that werent made by him
Like haunted Hathaways
@@Handyrandy2233 yup, and thundermans, warped!, side hustle, that girl lay lay, and young dylan
Plz make this list on UA-cam
Can we talk about the fact that Henry Danger had a crossover with Thundermans that also had a crossover with The Haunted Hathaways? Which not only means that superpowers exist in this universe, but ghosts as well.
Yeah, I was thinking the same :)
I never watched Teen Nick only Nickelodeon and they never ran reruns of All That or Kenan and Kel so it was fun watching them for this video
why do all the intro theme songs slap hard af
No way u just said the icarly and Victorious party crossover was bad
The fact that Austin Butler was also in Hannah Montana too. Homeboy was in everything when we were kids.
i watched game shakers and continuously felt bad for kenzie cos she weas the only one who took her work seriously cos she was genuinely passionate abt it. Babe and the gang were nice as friends, but they lowkey held my girl back
Another shared media in this universe is “Toilet Wars.” It is seen in Sam & Cat, Game Shakers and Henry Danger.
I heard that Helen was supposed to be a recurring character on victorious but sadly had some family to take care of
Fun fact: ICarly had an episode where the cast meets Fred. This means that the Fred Movies and the Fred show are in the same universe as the Schnider shows.
Edit: Henry Danger also crossovered with the Thundemans, another Nickelodeon sitcom starring superheroes. I can’t believe you didn’t talk about that show.
I can’t believe I forgot about Tori’s mom being so flirty with her husband’s partner 😂 those shows were wild with their subplots
Yes, there are some good jokes and references here and there but the further you get into the Schnieders Bakery productions, the lazy the writing gets.
listening to this after watching quiet on set😬
As someone who spent whole summers as a kid dancing to Victorious songs, your ranking could not be more based
Henry danger also has a crossover with The Thundermans and The thundermans has one with The haunted Hathaways.
Right? There's so much material over 2+ decades to cover and this was a really good summary of it.
When he said you don’t need to watch it all in one sitting just fucking melted my heart lol
Wasn't The Thundermans also by Dan Schneider and they had a crossover with Henry Danger?
In the reboot, Spencer is wealthy and bought both the apt building and the Groovy Smoothie
Well Mr. Sheffield played a producer in both shows😂😂
Revival not reboot
In the victorious set when they’re near their lockers, there’s a refrigerator locker and there’s an iCarly sticker on there
I've never put too much thought into the premise that Dan Scheidner shows share a cinematic universe, but off the top of my head, I'd say that any appearances and references to other shows are merely easter eggs, whereas the appearances of in-universe characters and fourth-well-breaking actors are actual instances of sharing a cinematic universe. This obviously is a sloppy theory, but it's the best that I can come up with.
What’s crazy is Selena was in Suite Life of Zach and Cody when she was really young, but she plays a Alex in Suite Life on Deck. Lol.
I didn’t think I’m gonna make it to the end, but you kept us engaged
Tbh I don’t think they out much thought into a connected universe, so much as putting in these references as fanfare and place holders for episode ideas. But then I realized this is Nickelodeon, the kids tv network infamous for beating a dead horse into paste so long as the show makes money. So what if these Easter eggs and crossovers were sequel bait? Like testing the waters with fans to see if a revival would be profitable?
Their just references people read too much into this stuff
19:46 you forgot 365 days (my favorite song 😭)
Bro I came to write this
your videos are awesome! Love the long form content in depth on subjects of interest. New subscriber
So nice to see skitzo representation in Drake and Josh
unsure if you mentioned this in the rest of the video, but henry danger being in the same universe as icarly explains why spencer sets everything on fire
Cant stress enough how confusing some of those episodes were when your countrie only aired Victorious and iCarly...
(and sam and cat)
This isn’t the first time Dan has ripped off from another show… the Kenan and Kel episode where they accidentally lose/kill his dads bird is the same episode of Martin when Gina kills his momma’s bird.
So I wanna give some personal input on why I think there's no need to be confused about the Schneiderverse but first there's one overly sexual scene that made me feel uncomfortable as a kid that wasn't mentioned in a video, since that topic was mentioned [Skip ahead if you don't want to read that part]
In a late episode of Zoey101 Quinn lirerally invents a "breast inflation" device to make her appear more busty. In hindsight it makes much more sense and I wonder if any women who were more mature at the time saw this bit and felt insecure about their smaller chests because they were indirectly portrayed as "unattractive" and "undesirable"
[End of the sexual sidenote]
But coming back to the actual universe.
Thank you for your service 🫡
Well done sir, well done.
if i were gibby.. id want that head back bc what is dan doing with it when it’s not on camera??
U deserve more subs. This was a whole trip down memory lane🌁
Didn’t the thundermans cross over with Henry danger? Idk if that’s what makes a show part of the Schneider verse or not 😭
drake bell was also in the april fools episode of victorious, but it’s only for a few seconds and then he looks at the camera and walks away
