Icarly was a very popular show that was produced by Dan Schneider. Some of the lead actors in the movie were Miranda Cosgrove and Jenette McCurdy. Both of them had their career skyrocket after their amazing work on the show ICarly. But Was ICarly more of a regret than it was a reward for Jenette McCurdy and Miranda Cosgrove? The Icarly cast has warned us about the producer of Icarly a few times in the past. Apparently the producer Dan Schneider wasn't treating the Icarly cast properly. Although the show is coming back in 2021, it is without the producer Dan Schneider. Although it is clear that Miranda Cosgrove and the cast of icarly wasn't a fan of Dan Schneider, they never really spoke about the situation like Jennette McCurdy has. Jennette McCurdy recalled past incidents on her podcast and other interviews of moments where she felt uncomfortable due to the requests that Dan Schneider had. In the Full Episodes of Icarly it wasnt obvious that Dan Schneider was creepy, but after the cast grew up, many allegations came out against him. - Розваги

This doesn’t really have a lot to do with this video but icarly really had a problem with girl characters abusing guy characters physically and sexually as jokes. For example sam to everyone and a lot of women to Spencer. I love icarly but I absolutely don’t blame Jennette McCurdy for being embarrassed by her role and not staring in the reboot.
Yea I remember that one episode where they wanted the pie recipe that one lady forces herself upon spencer lol. If it happened the other way around and a guy did that the show would be canceled tbh

When I was a kid, I loved I Carly and every adult joke went over my head. I noticed that there was a lot of feet and foot jokes on his shows, but it never occurred to me as a foot fetish. Back then, I thought it was weird, but now I find it sketchy and can’t believe how clueless we all were.

This video is so frustrating it just keeps repeating itself and doesn’t actually do a ten list at all really once you get further in the video it just keeps replaying like the same audio/repeating the beginning of sentences and showing different images

Whether or not you see a problem with the slight jokes in the shows he did genuinely have a fixation on minors feet and if you rewatch he did make it a point in multiple of his series to show their feet. In icarly it’s practically every episode. Also I’ve seen some clips from victorious where Cats character was weirdly sexualized like it wasn’t as obvious to children but watching it now there was like a scene from the slap where they made her wear a tank top and get her chest wet and she like makes her usual squeaky sounds and she is holding a potato with both hands and the whole thing just seems really creepy and like you shouldn’t be watching. And you can tell some guy was probably watching it for the wrong reasons and really just proves how much they slipped stuff in there for creeps like that.

I think there is a very big difference between putting one or two jokes, for the adults watching. And just making shows for your own personal..satisfaction. Most shows always have that one joke that is humorous to the older audience, but this man he had no chill. And that's what bothers me. Especially since they are using children.

I don’t think adult jokes in kids shows are really a problem, because one, the kids who watch them won’t understand them anyway, and two, it’s just so people of even older ages like teens and adults can find humor in the show. It’s the actions that can sometimes go too far.
@aure No but if you think the show over sexualizes jokes too often, maybe you’re the dirty minded one. Because as I stated before, adult jokes are what bring in older audiences because then THEY have something to find funny rather than the cheesy kid jokes that not even kids laugh at.

Think about it, what parent is gonna wanna sit with their kids and watch The Breadwinners, or Bubble Guppies, or even Dora? And what kid growing older to teen and adult years will wanna watch those shows again? They're just for a small demographic of viewers for a short amount of time which in turn just sweeps them lost into the sea of other kids shows because there's nothing memorable about them. It's sad but true.

Dan Schneider’s a comical genius, but it’s a double-edged sword. His shows are the very definition of separating the art from the artist.
I can still watch them and enjoy them but after learning all about him over the years (the feet thing goes all the way back to The Amanda Show), it really does give a different experience watching them now, to say the least.
That isn't separating art from the artist, dumbass. The two can NEVER be separated. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy someone's art without condoning what they did. That isn't separating the artist though. It can't and shouldn't be done. Jist cuz a person is a horrible person doesn't mean you can't enjoy the art.
So basically Jenette suffered from eating disorders and Dan Schnieder knew this. But he still made Jenette’s character Sam always eat and love food.

It turned out that he was abusing all the children who worked for him and the entire team, including writers, photographers, and auditors. Some of them went to prison, but Dan was not imprisoned because he is manipulative. @@mrgreen2139

Ok but to be fare, spongebob (arguably the most successful show in Nick history) had a ridiculous amount of adult humor in it. But no one talks about that. Dans creepy af no question, but the subtle adult humor in the shows are what made them great bc the jokes went over the kids head but had a somewhat adult type audience laughing.
Spongebob is animated so nobody was actually hurt or scarred for life. On the other shows Dan was actually physically touchy with people and that was in real life. All of the jokes are funny until you know what they actually mean that’s the sad part.
