I'm new to sea fishing, that was a great informative video. It sound a bit naive of me but will ask anyway. On the hair rig thats attached to the hook- what is the reason for the loop on the bottom end of the hair rig, the reason I ask is because it stickes out doing nothing. Is there a reason why?
Great video mario I'm experimenting with it on the boat at the moment and I'm very impressed with its hook up rate and no more deep hooking, however I use a crochet needle for my baiting up I slide a whole squid over the hook part of the needle and after elasticating it, simply put the hook of the needle, into the bottom loop of braid and slide up, it works for me bud tight lines

Back in the mid Nineties I used to use this rig to present a string of 5 or 6 mini green and black crab flavoured boilies for Plaice fishing. Works very well
Great demo - thank you. Question - how do you prevent the dingle dangle from coming off the circle hook? If it's out on the surf, it'll be moving around a bit and the wire loop could go over the barb. How do you prevent this?
Do you mind if I ask what bait clips you use with the dongle loop? Gemini splashdowns are my favourite bait clip but I wonder if they would work with this?
I've never tried it with braid but it may work. Could possibly use a heavier braid and splice the hook on which will give you a loop that should work the same as a perfection loop
Good video, but Isnt this a hair rig, why not just use a knotless knot, or have i missed something?

Hi mate, its not a wire dongle. It's braid. The dongle will never come off the hook with it being a barbed hook

Hi mate I normally use imps but I've also used splashdowns. It will work with any bait clip
Will the perfection loop work with heavy mono of 150-200lb?
With heavy line like that, could you not use crimps to form the loop?
