His studio versions have one of the best SOUNDs ever - warm and full, but absolutely clear and pristine. Doing this live is nearly impossible, even with orchestra - even if they did an amazing job
Damn, Alan still sounds great after all these years. Unbelievable that he was involved in both the Beatles and Pink Floyd as an engineer. Guy is a legend.
Hi Ola! The first part of the song, Sirius, was the theme song of WWE wrestler Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat in '80s & '90s. It was also the theme song of the NBA's Chicago Bulls in the '90s when they were winning championships with the best basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. You would always hear that song when u watched Ricky wrestle & the Bulls play on tv. I also liked the Eye In The Sky
Thinking back to the concerts, the vibes & the music, I somehow feel OUR young ones are just missing out on the magic. Maybe I am wrong, there is always Tay-Tay. Alan Parsons is a deeper band to react to, GOOD on YOU! Thanks for Sharing!!
People who have Cats like Musik too...whe have two ;-)...Check more of Alan,he was many Great tunes...per ex"La Sagrada Familia" ...best regards:-* :-*
If you like the novelist Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849), Allan Parson adapted it into music under the album "Tales of mystery and imagination Edgar Allan Poe", which I advise you to listen to.
Alan parsons project , a duo made by Alan parsons and Eric Woolfson.. one of my greatest bands, with the Bee Gees (the most), Elo , Supertramp , Dire Straits and Pink Floyd. ( by the way , the original one sung by his original voice and writter, the member of the alan Parsons Project mr ERIC WOOLFSON, is much, much better than this live versión without him)
Alan was the engineer on Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.
And he helped engineer The Beatles Let It Be
Oh wow I did not know that. Great tune though
"The sun in your eyes makes some of your lies worth believing". Probably the most brutal lines I've heard in a song.
Alan Parsons was the sound engineer on albums including the Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be and Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon among others.
Also "Silence and I" + "The Raven" from this concert are epic... You'll be blown away.
Damn - every time I hear this song it sticks in my mind for days. Very catchy.

The whole Concert is on UA-cam. Just get it girl 😊
As Always, a great reaction
That cat has good taste in music.
superstars all of them !
Dark side of the moon, Parsons was the reason it is epic!
And Year of the Cat By Al stewart
How many people started saying in their head the starting lineup for the Chicago Bulls 😆😆😆
I've seen them live twice. ❤ great job! Thanks! ✌❤🎶🎶❤✌
Prog rock in 80s was top, Asia, Ultravox, Genesis and many others.

he was a sound engineer for pink floyd, since that concert I really like the song "time"
A brilliant musician and producer who helped Pink Floyd on some of their best stuff, he is well worth a listen! Thanks and enjoy!

Please do much more Karen Carpenter!!😢😢😢😢
PLEASE REACT TO A GREAT LOVE SONG- JOHN DENVER'S SONG CALLED - "FOR YOU" THIS IS FOR YOU YOUNG ONE.
Eh. I prefer the original version from the early 80s I grew up with, I guess.
Me too. 9/10 there's nothing special about the live versions except you can see the band.
I would highly recommend "Time" and "Old and Wise" as well.
TIME is so emotional , love PJ's voice .
The recorded version would have been better, especially since you were not allowed to show the live footage.
