The Alan Parsons Project and Alan Parsons' solo projects are staples in my music collection, such great music, feel good stuff. I've listened to APP since the beginning! In this particular concert, Alan Parsons sings this song in the absence of the original singer and his partner in APP whose name was Eric Woolfson, who sadly died in 2009. Alan Parsons does a great job in any song he sings. He's 75 years old now, but is still out there performing, love that!
Alan Parsons | Sirius - Eye In The Sky !!!!!! Fantastic and you got my favorite version!!! Alan Parsons was the recording engineer for Pink Floyd that recommended Clare Torry to sing "Great Gig In The Sky"
Fun fact, all of his musicians can Sing 🎉🎉 If you can catch one of his concerts filmed in Argentina and he did a Live on Tv in Germany that was awesome! Fun rabbit hole to go down!!!❤
Alan has ben part of some of my favorite music over the years. Most of the early years and biggest hits (like this one) were from his band: the Alan Parsons Project. The original singer for this song and many of their hits was Eric Wolfson (R.I.P.) who unfortunately passed back in 2009. Great job as always Lulu!!
Great reaction, Lulu! When wife and I were first married, we listened to Alan Parsons a lot. They had several very enjoyable songs and are worth more reactions
Sirius was the theme song of former WWE wrestler Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat & the NBA's Chicago Bulls Championship teams in the '90s when Michael Jordan, the best basketball player ever played for them
Alan Parsons is the main vocalist here and he started in the industry aged around 20 years of age. He was an engineer on the last two Beatles albums. He can be seen in the three part Beatles documentary that was shown on Disney+. He also was the engineer for Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon album too.
This was a very popular song in the early 80s. Definitely his most well known song. The Project had many great songs that most people would know, they just don't know what 'band' it was.
Produced by and written by Alan Parsons and the late Eric Woolfson. Sirius. The Chicago Bulls 🦬, University of Nebraska and other sports teams play ▶️ this. Eye 👁 in the Sky ☁️. Woolfson was the original singer. But, he died 😔 in 2009 due to kidney cancer ♋. RIP 🙏. Alan Parsons sings this since 2009. He sounds good 👍 He was an engineer for the albums Abby Road and Dark Side of the Moon 🌙 Suggested video 📹: Alan Parsons sings Games 🎮 People Play ▶️
Hey Lulu! Hope you are doing well? I see the ladies left you alone again. Lol! I saw Alan Parsons in concert. His Project opened for YES! Great show!!! Hope you enjoy this one.👍😎
If you haven't heard of Alan surely you've heard some of his work. Alan is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Parsons was the sound engineer on albums including the Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, and Ambrosia's debut album in 1975. Just to name a few things he's done, Lulu.
A couple of suggestions for you, if you haven't already done them. "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues and "A Whiter Shade of Pale", "Conquistador", and "A Salty Dog" by Procol Harum. These songs were all released in the late 1960's. You can probably find videos from that time, but there are also later videos, including a Procol Harum concert from 2006 with the Danish Symphony Orchestra. The single was one of the highest selling singles of all time.
This song was playing on the radio while my ex boyfriend and I were breaking up. Every time I hear it, it all comes back to me. Sad memories, here's to you Henri.
As someone who used to attend Chicago Bulls games in the 90’s I can’t hear Sirius without the hair on the back of my neck standing up. “From North Carolina …… !”
Alan Parsons Project...Great choice! If you get a chance listen to the first album "tales mystery and imagination: Edgar Allan Poe" all songs based on Poe's stories. stories like The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart and many others.

One of the truly undervalued musicians of his generation...you should check out "Don't Answer Me," it's the polar opposite... you'll dig it.

@@KathyLuluandDonna am already looking forward to the next one

If I recall correctly "Eye in the Sky" and "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" were APP's biggest hits.

Could you react to Mexican Radio by Wall Of Voodoo, please?
TALES OF MYSTERY AND IMAGINATION PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ LOL
Hey .. you need to listen to "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum (you may know it ) .. interesting similarities in the chorus!
I think it's a bit more pronounced if you listen to the original studio version. The higher harmony on the chorus is louder on that version.
Alan Parsons Project...Great choice! If you get a chance listen to the first album "tales mystery and imagination: Edgar Allan Poe" all songs based on Poe's stories. stories like The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart and many others.
He engineered pink Floyd.
Dark Side Of The Moon

Okay singer, but brilliant writer / produce / composer.
Who is this "Alan Paris" you speak of ?😂

Alan Parsons worked as a engineer on some of the Beatles albums
