    Here in Germany I showed my Instructor for powder and reload license today how to make paper cartridges with your .36-kit. He was so fascinated, I think he'll order a kit by himself. He even took pictures for his presentation 😄 Great, my Griswold&Gunnisson repro runs fine with them🍻 Cheers, Björn

    I grew up in Houston and spent the first 30 years of my life there. One day, I need to go look around East/West Columbia just south of there where The Dance Bros. Factory was during the War. This is a true Texas gun. (Texans loved the open top Colt Navy that it was based on).

    Many thanks for bringing out that handsome Dance Brothers pistol. Really fine .👍 And was relieved to see how easily it took to conical paper cartridges. So often there's going to be a style revolver that's not conical friendly. 😏

    Do you have problems with unburnt paper? And any chain fires?

    • @GunsOfTheWest
      @GunsOfTheWest  Місяць тому +1

      I usually find a little bit of unburned paper left behind, but not enough to cause trouble. I haven’t had any chain fires with these.

  • @8StringKeith
    @8StringKeith Місяць тому +1

    Wait I do have a question….
    …. Do you put on the paste to prevent flash overs?

    • @Lefteye1873
      @Lefteye1873 Місяць тому +1

      The bullet lube over the mouth of the chambers is primarily to keep the fouling in the barrel soft, so you can shoot longer and more accurately. It is only needed to help prevent chain fires if the balls are undersized and not forming the proper seal. If you get the little ring of lead when seating the ball, you are usually good to go.
