- The NEW T-Mobile Welcome Back. This is the brand new T-mobile flashmob advert (The T-Mobile Welcome Back) which was filmed at 10am on Wednesday 27th October 2010 at Heathrow Terminal 5, London UK. Making of T-Mobile flashmob adverts at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, 27 October 2010 10am
Songs that were used on the official T-Mobile Welcome Back Heathrow Terminal 5 advert (in sequence):
1. Etta James - At Last
2. Mel Tormé - Comin' Home Baby
3. Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack
4. Iggy Pop - The Passenger
5. Thin Lizzy - Boys are Back In Town
6. Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God
7. George Michael & Aretha Franklin - I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)
8. Peters And Lee - Welcome Home
Absolutely brilliant space clearing event (if you're into feng shui). Terminal 5 is now the most space cleared terminal in the world. Apparently they were doing it all day (500 actors and singers were there - so not really a flashmob event) - so probably they did it 80+ times! over and over again. I'm sure some people were annoyed though - but that's yin and yang of things:)
I like the idea of coming back and loads of people singing the 'Welcome Home' song. Brings a tear to the eye :)
this is the most beautiful live event ive ever seen!!!! im in tears, literally!!
It's impossible to not smile watching that..
I still enjoy seeing this 👍
the black guy who sings 'i am the passanger' is a LEGEND!

@FengShuiConsultantUK
thank you for posting this my iphone "sound hound" has no idea what mel torme is lol !
at 1:46 I was like "where the hell did those ladies came from?"
que genial !!!!!!!!!!!!!
that black guy sings The Passenger much better than the original!
I prefer these videos, but I think the passengers were too stunned to react.
The welcome home song is the perfect song to sing in a big group like this for when all our british amazing brave soliders come home :) it would make it a really good advert to see
@cfrosty6 if you notice they are singing to different people in this one. Apparently T Mobile decided there was too many people filming too close and got in the way so they asked the people already at the terminal not to film that close and obstruct the singers. The Advert you see on TV is a 2nd take of it.
@FengShuiConsultantUK thanks i love that song return of the mack and never knew its name to listen to it, cheers ;)
1:08 is the best one
do something like that when the armed forces come home, and you would have 1 of the best most moving adverts ever.
That is what england is all about, the real england :)
@FengShuiConsultantUK you forgot about the opening song buy Etta James - at last
@FengShuiConsultantUK You missed "At last" at the start. Kind of you to list them though. thumbs up
@cfrosty6 oh yeah quite a few takes were taken, when i said 2nd take i really just meant another take. They probably done at least 5 takes and just chose the one that came out best im guessing. Damn it now im commenting on the video again i feel the urge to watch it AGAIN! lol Return of the mack part is by far my favourite
HEY I WAS WATCHIN AN OTHER VIDEO OF THIS AND I SAW U WTH UR CAMERA VIDEOING IT!!!!
How many times was this celebration done?
@wo0dy1 T-Mobile USA did. Not singing, but a huge welcome including free phones so the troops can make their first call home. check out the channel TMobile
@MattsMunky iggy pop- the passenger
What song is it that the black guy starts singing, starting with 'I am the messenger' ???
Why's this one not the same as the proper advert??
why did they have to fly from los angeles to london for? lax got a lovely terminal and im sure they could have found great talent in the "city of the stars"...they gotta come back to LAX and do one cuz im trying to get people together so we in US of A can have a good flash mob and plus it would be different since americans are not use to seeing them or making them...so if ur intersted in become a member of a US most CALI based flash mob let me know..so tweet about it and tell everyone u know
@karleriksmithson When I was there at least 10 times. But I guess throughout the whole day probably 30 or so.
is the guy at 1.03 gordan smart from the sun?
@deadlyArachnid it looks like he is just a random passenger :L i cant see a mic and he has bags and all

@TimReynolds1111 Moses powers? More like the power of misery. Oh no, it's gonna be Christmas soon Scrooge - cheer up.
@Minibloodz616 LOL
An awful way to end a flight - all we wanted to do was get home and we were met by a bunch of singing idiots who would not get out of the way [until they realised the baggage trolley was not going to stop] - and then they parted like the Red sea...
what i think of your "mum" @2:10
I wish someone shouted out as loud as they could "WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT" the real flash mobs are not run by corporations designed to sell shit.
