7 years ago today on February 24, 2007, New York's Grand Central Terminal came to halt. 207 performers suddenly froze in place, surprising tourists and commuters in the main concourse. Happy Birthday Frozen Grand Central!
Yeah; I was just thinkin' I sure wish I'd known about this 'cause I woulda gone! (Only thing is, nowadays there's always that half-second where you're thinking, "Oh, my God; did something happen?")
i don't know why some people take pictures i mean in a picture nobody's moving so what's the point Edit: i don't mean the people who are filming that's why i said some :p
Jazz Nit that's what i'm saying what's the point of taking picture of people standing still because they want to remember this prank of people randomly standing still but when you take a picture everyone is standing still so what's the point
***** Actually you are wrong... As a photographer I know that you can move when the picture is taken and still be crystal clear on the pic. It all depends on the shutter speed. If the shutter speed is bigger than 1/80 sec then there should not be a problem with anyone walking around.
To those people taking pictures. "Hey, mom. Look at these pictures, I took them in Grand Central. Everyone was frozen at the moment." "I don't what's interesting with these pictures." "NO THEY WERE FROZEN! LIKE NOT MOVING!" "Ok I believe you. Now go do your homework."
ToxicReplays Haha Sorry to let you down man but I’m still single. Same job, same car, and same apartment haha. I did get the rona and survived though. So that’s a plus
Lou Giordano Haha that’s okay man sometimes finding a routine and keeping things simple is the best way to go. But dang you got a good story to tell now at least😂 Glad you’re doing good.
The quality of the camera makes them look stiller than they are. If this was captured with modern high-end equipment you could see many people wobbling around
Or. Perhaps. Maybe. They were recording it on a video. Just a thought. You know what? Nah. It's too far fetched. Absolutely ridiculous. No way would they be recording it. Sorry for wasting your time with my idiotic thoughts.
gah! people need to do more stuff like this. organizing huge groups of people together to work together for no other reason than to confuse people. Best cause ever
ExclusiveLM Homeless should be able to feed themselves. They're humans like everyone else. Unless they're missing all 4 limbs, they should get shit done for themselves like the rest of the world.
Eddie Gluskin Eddie you don't realize that many homeless people have mental problems and they need to be helped because they can't make decisions like you and me. Unfortunately, even the government doesn't rehabilitate the homeless properly. But, go to countries like Norway and Sweden and they know how to help the poor and homeless. The American government is wrapped up in to much red tape and only ends up giving away money in the form of food stamps and welfare instead of REALLY applying the techniques used in Europe to help the needy. If you don't understand that....... then lets leave it at that.
@@__underscore_ You live in your own limited little world and you don't realize that there are people out there with mental problems stemming from physical and sexual abuse that end up homeless. There are woman that have a job but it's only enough to pay the rent and end up eating dog food because it's cheaper. There are senior citizens that are too old to work and walk around in the middle of the night trying to collect recyclable cans and bottles to barely have enough for a piece of bread. You have obviously never gone through that nightmare. So, you think everyone has an easy life or as many opportunities as you've had. Sad that you have no idea of the true human suffering.
This is by far one of my favorite improvs ever. I would love to see a remake of this if possible, purely so I can get more of the audience's stunned reactions. It's got to feel good to have your stunt appreciated like that.

I saw this video when it was new. It nagged at me for years that I needed to find it again and in 2024 I finally did! This video has stuck with me for 16 years
If it was in a larger scale where most of the station was frozen besides a few people and I was one of those people. I'd have to start walking around yelling "SHAUN!!!!"
Tsuki Yoru When he was yelling for jason it was in the mall and he didnt become a agoraphobic till after jason's death. When he goes to the train station(i think it was the train station, been forever since I played the game) everyone freeze frames around him when he has a panic attack. He starts stumbling around yelling for shaun. Which is why i said that. XD
Upon re-watching this for the first time in a while, I noticed something interesting: I'm pretty sure the guy who says "That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen!" is Rich Sommer, the actor who played Harry Crane in "Mad Men". Anyone know if I'm right?
I love how Charlie Todd pretends not to know what's going on when he's the mastermind behind everything. Just like a perfect villain would do, hide amongst the commoners (although he's not a villain, he's a great hero to our generations).
