Does air fryer take a lot of electricity like oven
In Trinidad we call this, Channa. It’s addictive and so yummy 😋
In India also it is known as Chana. Agree with you, it's a wonderful crunchy snack 😊
Super 👌
Thank you 😊
What is the make of the pressure cooker you have? Looks great
Thank you. It is hard anodised pressure cooker from 'Prestige' brand.
Nice and crunchy 😋
Thank you 😊
Having just got an air fryer I have been disappointed with the results of other recipes on UA-cam - none have mentioned cooking the beans first after soaking so I shall try your recipe and hope for a better outcome! Thanks
Did you try n does it work?
Hope this recipe will work for you.
@@KuchPakRahaHai , yes, it did! - I maybe overcooked them a little, but a serious improvement over the previous attempt!
@@husnashaikh163 I did, and it was much better than before.
It is quite obvious, that you have to cook the peas. Lol
Neat and clean ...no fuss presentation...will try soon....loved the cleanliness of the video ...best wishes

wow so good yummy 🤤🤤👌👌
Thank you 😊
Healthy for tea tym also for unwanted craving 😋
Yes agree with you. It's a healthy protein packed snack option.
Think using canned/bottled chickpeas would be faster /easier coz if u r using an air fryer u want to cut down on time
Yes you can definitely use canned chickpeas to cut down time. As they are not available everywhere, I have shown the method from scratch.
Home made is always a homemade
@@KuchPakRahaHai
Yes you're correct am searching for this recipe.because in our place canned chickpeas are unavailable 😢 thankyou so much for this version
How to preheat please tell me the setting I have Libra airfryer 4.5
The concept of preheating air fryer is same as that of a oven. To preheat my philips air fryer, I set the given temp & rotate the time knob to 4 or 5 minutes. You can also refer to your air fryer manual for preheating instructions as certain air fryers have preheat mode also.
Can we use microwave,if yes then please share the recipe for micro wave roasting चना
this recipe is amazing i really really loved it keep on sharing such more and more recipes and a lot of love from planet Ayurveda thank you so so much keep on sharing more and more
Thanks for your kind words. Glad you liked it😊
I tried this recipe today outside it was crispy inside it was soft….!
Hi, Did you dry off the chickpeas completely before air frying? If the chickpeas have moisture in them, they don't become crispy.
Also, The chickpeas become crunchy as they cool down. If they are still not crispy, please try air frying them again for 4 to 5 more minutes.
@@KuchPakRahaHai ya I dried should try once more doing this
Can you please make video for french fries as well? Have been struggling to find correct temp and time combination. They are coming out over burnt with preset! 🤦🏻♀️ TIA
At 200° for 10 mins. If the colour isn't what you want, go for some more time.
Yes sure, will try to come up with its video soon.
@@apaarmaheshwari8673 thanks
@@KuchPakRahaHai seriously we want to know how to cook French Fries in Air Fryer, even I too have messed many times
How long will this stay fresh in a container?
They stay good in an airtight container for 7-10 days.
So do we need to boil till they become soft ?
Yes, boil them till they are just tender soft and not over-cooked mushy. Do not leave them in water once the pressure is released from the cooker.
😋👍❤️🇺🇸
Can the same recipe be used for groundnuts?
No. You don't need to precook groundnuts before airfrying. Just toss them in oil, salt, spices and air fry. For full step by step recipe with images, please refer to the link below:

Thanks.
Mine turned out soft from inside and crunchy from outside. Followed all the steps as mentioned in the video. Made sure it dried completely and air fried it for additional 5 minutes. Don't know what went wrong.
Sorry to hear that. This can happen if either the chickpeas were not dried completely or they were overcooked in boiling step (cooking time can vary sometimes depending on the quality of chickpeas). I would suggest reducing the pre-cooking time & drain them as soon as the pressure is released from cooker.
Mast chai k sath ka jugaad 🙂will try it
Thanks. Hope you will like it.
Can we do peanuts?
Hi Shruti, Yes you can roast peanuts in air fryer. Please refer to the link below for full recipe:
www.kuchpakrahahai.in/masala-peanuts-in-airfryer/
air fryers consume high electricity ?
Please check product manual for such specifications as it can vary from brand to brand.
Can I use canned peas?
Yes you can use canned chickpeas.
For how many days can we store them in an air tight jar?
You can easily store them for 5-6 days in an airtight container. In case you feel they have lost their crunch, air fry them again in a preheated air fryer for 1-2 min. Let them cool down first & then store.
Can U use canned?
Yes, you can use canned chickpeas. Just drain & dry them well (as shown in video also)
Those are chana or kabuli chana??
Kabuli chana
@@KuchPakRahaHai Thank you
White Chana and Kabuli Chana are the same.
Why not use a tin of chickpeas?
You can use tin of chickpeas also. I have showed the procedure from scratch as tinned chickpea is not easily available everywhere.
Time taken in air fryer is nowhere near where the recipe says it takes. Plan on at least 1.5hrs at 200 degrees. Mine's still not done after 1 hour but it's getting there. Determined to make this in the future as well - will use a convection oven instead.
1-1.5 hrs time is too much. Are you air frying at 200°C or 200°F? Can you please check once if your air fryer temperature is in Celsius or Fahrenheit as sometimes it can vary from brand to brand & country also.
Sorry. Seems like user error. I was using at 200F since I was afraid it might char the outside and leave the inside soft. Your video is clear about it being Celsius.
Great recipe. Bit of a flaf though. Just buy a tin of cooked chickpeas then add to the air fryer. So much easier and still crunchy
Thank you. You can always add more seasoning to it as per your taste.
Yes, using a tin of cooked chickpeas will cut down few steps. As chickpeas tin is not readily available everywhere that's why recipe has been explained from scratch here.
I used shop bought canned chickpeas. Within the first 5 mins mine basically exploded in the air fryer....😃
This happens when the temperature is too high. If you are currently airfrying at 200°C (400°F), then I would suggest lowering the temp to 180°C (350°F).
There is no need to pressure cook them first. Why not just put them straight into the air fryer?
If you air fry them directly without cooking they become super hard (not crunchy). You can cut down the soaking & boiling step by using canned chickpeas.
