- A plethora of racing cars, sports cars, supercars and more descended on a rainswept Oulton Park Circuit in February 2024 for a general trackday - and in this video expect a paddock walkaround, featuring tinkering with these racing machines, and later the exciting action from the treacherous Cheshire circuit, kicking off the 2024 motorsports season.
This trackday offered a superb variety of cars, from a powersliding BMW E36 to a modified(!) Mitsubishi Colt, and from a 480BHP Ford Sierra to a fantastic BMW E92 M3.

A great memory jerker, Harley, as I had many a great day at Oulton as a member of the press corps, as well as been flung around the track by some of the top BTCC drivers of the day. Happy days! Well done of this vid on which you showed great knowledge and slick presentation.

The names on the red Cleo ... 😂 ... It's still quite early here in southern Ontario, but I got the joke fairly quickly.
Great racing action. The black MINI wasn't letting the blue BMW get away easily. May have been a different story in dry conditions.

Brilliant vid, thanks for sharing. We were in the little silver mk2 mx5 with the white roundels on the doors. Nice to hear what it sounds like from outside!

I did like the mk2 mazda mx5 with the hardtop in silver, I think it had sporty throttle bodies and sounded very good, I think the Sierra might have been a bit scary!

Hello Harley 👋 I went through your videos to see if there was something I missed when I was having a break away from viewing UA-cam. And I came across this. The new Porsche 911 looks so good. It's been modified over the years since the late 1960s. I was at the supermarket yesterday and in the carpark a lady pulled in , in a brand new Volkswagen Beetle. Very nice too. She said it's nice to drive. It had a spoiler on the back of it so it looked like a racing car. Amazing too , because the design of the beetle dates back to the 1930s. My father had a friend who was a mechanic and he worked on VWs back in the 1960s. Is there a new video on the way ?. From Carl in NZ.

Some terrifically throaty sounds there Harley. The Colt seems to be having a bad day. Perhaps one day we may see you hurtling around that track in a suitably modified yellow MX5 👹
