Magnus casually drawing arrows for every move each piece will make from beginning to end of the game like we are supposed to be able to make any sense of it.
"that fast anymore" 😅 you say it as if you were that fast at a younger age or something. Bitch look at your profile pic, your dumbass gotta be young af lol😂
I love El-Magnito's set up for online chess. He can play anytime by just getting out of Bed. If I had that setup, I'd probably be playing half-awake. :)
5:45 why doesn't he play knight e4? Wow he killed him. I should watch more magnus vids. I always thought I wouldn't understand what he's doing but I do if he explains it a lil bit
because the bishop can never be moved and the rook can never be defended so black either plays without their king or they lose their rook (for the knight)
@Gabriel-un1bpno, it's not checkmate. the opponent would landed himself a terrible position if he were to take the knight. but no, there's no checkmate, king can still move.
because in that case carlesn could have done check with queen in f7 protected by the bishop and jefferyx would had a horrible position, and lost more pieces over time
Because that would have been worst position because of exposed king. If he would have taken knight, then queen takes pawn with check, and king moves light square above queen, then again a check with bishop, then king moves on black square on 3 or 4th rank, then again a check with queen, then king would come in the centre (5th rank) and then again a check with queen, king would again on dark square, and again a check 😂 Basically black will have to make forced moves.
Actually that was one of the best moves the other one is knight d5 double check king has to move king d6 (King f8 leads to mate) Knight f6 if rook g5 then knight e4 fork which wins the rook but then it repeats the same with king e7 the problem with knight e4 is even though it was winning but it isn't that simplified and with more pieces the opponent had counterplay considering it was a blitz match it was a very good and practical move which was also approved by stockfish still wasn't the preferred one
@@ammarkhan7371There's also the fact that Stockfish moves are crazy people moves. Stockfish can lead to indigestible sacrifices in the later part of the game, which us simple humans might not even see. And knowing Super GM also having great pattern library, we can trust Magnus will not pretend to go for crazy lines even if in his mind he might see a possible winning chance on a blitz game. BTW, Magnus have admitted to go for easier lines and preferring forcing moves for calculation on blitz format matches. So it could just be he foresees complex calculation incoming, and choses to stick with the most simplest options.
I’m finding it most difficult to get through 12-1500 barrier. Like, some people are playing 1800 chess at a 1200 rating, it’s incredible to say the least.
Sometimes it's depressing,I'm 1800 but when I get recommended to play 1500 players I just get demolished;I think it's part of the algorithm some people you play are not really 1200 in strength
It’s because there are many people around that level that are only there because of frequent blunders or because they don’t play enough to be at their actual rating.
That's my problem, I got stuck at exactly 1200-1500 rating for more than a year, even though I feel that my play has improved a lot and I often get a suggested rating of 1800-2000 when I click on game review (when I play longer games and play really focused). But I often play too much or too little and cannot manage my rating.
"I shouldnt pretend like Im trying to remember cuz I actually dont know" Lmao
When Magnus calculates a line and concludes, "who knows", you know chess is too hard.
And when Magnus asks "who knows" after failing to calculate a hard line, it's one of the rare moments where literally no human might know 💀
Bc it's blitz?
Well he is playing 3 minute chess. I'm sure he and many others could solve the position in a traditional over the board game
The difference is he's saying who knows after seeing 11 moves ahead on 4 different replies we say who knows wrongly calculating 3 moves ahead on 1 reply.
Resigning with 0.2 seconds left is wild
They could count 14 million and 1 possibilities in under 0.000002 seconds
Why?
@@adriannn3720 because he knew there was nowhere to go but he preferred to resign just to not lose by time like a fool.
@@henrique83747 that made him even more pathetic 😅
LOOOOL
My brain is not braining
Watching magnus stream you understand his brain is on a different level man
Is amazing how he just makes amazing plays out in the blue effortlessly
Magnus casually drawing arrows for every move each piece will make from beginning to end of the game like we are supposed to be able to make any sense of it.
the one needed those arrows don't understand
the one who understand don't need those arrows
No I think those arrows are also for himself, so he can draw out a sort of "map of the battlefield"
That first arrow was a standard Paul Morphy move
My brain is not that fast anymore i can only see like 2/3 lines at the same time while Magnus can look at all of them at the same time 😭
Because he is magnus

That is actually some crazy chess! And all of that in 3 minute time format. Insane!
I havent seen Magnus play Nimzo Zimbabwe defense which by far the best opening.
Like the way Magnus gave up material in the end game just to get a nicely playable position. He could see the win so no risk
Where does he stream?

i am beginner i can´t even see 1 move ahead :D Kids are burning me xD

Knight
at 2:17 why didn't the opponent took that free knight at c3
@Gabriel-un1bpno, it's not checkmate. the opponent would landed himself a terrible position if he were to take the knight. but no, there's no checkmate, king can still move.
when i say terrible position, the opponent could risk losing a bishop then knight or bishop then rook, there's 2 ways.

There's no piece that can take a bishop at 1:19
