This genre of film could be more successful if it was taken seriously. These types of relationships do in fact happen but when they become too melodramatic and predictable, no one cares
I thought the events were too dramatic considering they didn't even have sex or an affair 🤦🏾♀️ they just kissed really intensely! had me like all this for what???
David had a prior marriage with a woman who looked exactly like her. So the obsession had been there for a long time with the divorce being the tipping point.
Wait. So was Nia Long “Difficult to work with” because she’s legit hard to work with or was it because she was demanding representation on the films she worked on?? 👀
I’d want to believe the latter tbh.... entertainment industry (like any human) is double sided lol they say they’re “leftist” but still having a hard time in the industry for just true equity. The irony.
I'm pretty sure its code for "bat-sh crazy woman, demanding things" like seeing a perfect balance within each department, like there currently is in the NBA :) GFY
Galina Ev .... what? Literally what? Stop the movie? 🤦🏾♀️ wait, did we watch the same video? Did we read the same comment? What are you talking about?
Can you do an LME of Candyman so we can all be prepped for when the sequel (do we call it that?) comes out? Thank you for always diving into the stories behind making the movies. Much love and appreciation
JUST finished watching this😂 literally every 10 minutes I found myself screaming at the screen- "Just tell your husband! Tell the police! TELL ANYONE BUT COURTNEY, SHE DONT CARE"
Loved your take as always! Just a quick note she goes from straight hair to curly 😂. I thought it was predictable but it wasn’t the worse movie. I also liked that nia wasn’t a skinny Minnie, she was beautiful with great clothes. I agree with you there is so much more you can do with this genre. I loved nia’s comments at the end 😍
That final scene reminded me so much of that Tyler Perry movie Acrimony. I felt like my time was wasted watching both though. And "Fatal Entanglement" 😂
I don't remember them saying his ex wife had an affair. I remember them saying that she divorced him and 4 months after the divorce was finalized her and her new boyfriend were murdered. I think a lot of people forget that affair also means a series of events. And there were a series of events between near and Omar that led to him trying bully his way into her life.
yes, yes, YES @LME. This "black woman fights intruder" thriller genre is such a guilty pleasure for me but you can literally tell that there haven't been many actually written/edited/produced/directed by black women, people or poc in general when you watch them. Its sad cuz there's so much potential there for amazing performances like in Panic Room or Hush
This film was stupid frustrating. I would have told my husband (AND POLICE) 35 minutes in. She knew she would have ended up telling her husband anyway.
I love the last video showing Nia talk about things that really need to be implimented in the American and Worldwide Film and Television industry "If you can find anyone of color to do a specific job then train African American young people in these Jobs so that there is Diversity ." love it ✊🏾👌🏿🙌🏿
I looovveee your videos! You’re so funny and the fact you put “Empressive” in your video just goes to show you keep up with your black people tea ☕️ lol 😂 I’m screaming 😂
Leeeeeeestan..................... Let me explain...... I love this channel been binging it not stop for the past 12+ hours n i gotta say im not disappointed not at all..... Good job to u n ur girl man. Hope u keep on growing bigger Coz u deserve to be #1.... So anyways ☮️ n dont stop the hustle muchacho.....
It was ok to me... I liked the cast and I watched it all the way till the end. I was using my phone some and getting snacks during the movie...but I give an A for effort👍🏾 I'm sure Nia’s next will be better!!
The geek squad boyfriend should've just stayed at home lol. Looked way to young, going with a college girl 😂🤣😅. Now he dead or I'n a coma tied up. That jada Pickett clip wanting to feel good killed me 😂. This could've been them in RL.
I also felt like this movie could've taken more risks with this premise. Felt like they played it super safe. Btw- where did the interview clips come from? Sounds like it was pretty good.
Can you check out the bodyguard (2018) mini series starring richard madden (Game of thrones, Rocketman) Also, still checking on the nightingale video that you mentioned you have an intro to it
Something strange, most low key movies that have sequel set up cliffhangers tend not to get a sequel but those that don't make set ups end up getting demanded for sequels
The worst thing about Disney/Netflix is making people believe that they have the best movies of all time. and its users are arrogant enough to debate you about the basic elements of a great film. They don’t even realize that most of the movies are like twilights written on Wattpad.
You poor dear! I’m lucky enough to have been spared the movie (beyond clips and the trailer) because folks like you took that bullet for me and shared the truth on UA-cam!!! 👍🏽
My absolute favorite part of this film was the filmmakers not trying to force a sequel in and instead killing him. Also the fact that nobody talks about the boyfriends death lmao
The film, in my opinion, could have been better if it didn’t seem rushed, had true character development, and wasn’t predictable, from the very beginning. Also, I hate movies where they place additional, unnecessary characters, into the mix, just to kill them off. Because the daughter and her boyfriend were the least irrelevant to the storyline, and her boyfriend’s death had no legitimate purpose, which made me only feel bad for him, but no one else. But it’s just crazy how things just seemed to go right back to normal, without acknowledging her daughter’s deceased boyfriend, the daughter heading back to school (So Abruptly), and Ellie deciding to pack up, again, to go back to the city. Like, personally, the ending could have been more polished, but I felt like I wasted a hour and thirty minutes on a movie that really needed at least another 45 minutes to really develop and connect the audience with the story and the characters.
Off topic of your video but you should check out Better Days. It is a Hong Kong film that came out in 2019 and it is well written, well shot and amazing overall.
What Netflix movie should we watch next?
Let Me Explain The Last Days of American Crime
Tales from the hood 2
The old guard, pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaase 😭

Can you do “Mother” with Jennifer Lawrence
Can we talk about her lame best friend who immediately believes a STRANGER vs her BFF?!?!!!
That pissed me off so much
@@kurlykayla9013 tale always wins lmao 😂🤣😅.
I was glad he attacked her, she deserved that for not heeding her friends warming and behind so damn gullible
Madison Hughes I’m not going to lie- I didn’t felt bad when he got her😭
@@madisonmaya94 It's strange to me that David left her alive but kills Scott later of all people.
No one talk about the daughter boyfriend lmao. He just dies and everyone moves on. RIP SCOTT

I'm like how the hell did this explain this to his parents
That's all we talked about when it was over... why did they do Scott like that
If anything he should've killed the husband at that point...
Was he dead tho? Because they never really mentioned what happened to him and the girl at her work
lmaoooooo no lie i forgot about him too
This is totally a Lifetime movie that somehow snuck into Netflix
Yep totally lifetime lol
Ab-so-loot-lee
I might like this movie then 🤣
Nah this is a BET movie with a bit more pocket change sprinkled on it
yes !!!!
The ‘are you lost babygirl?’ killed me!
those are the type of movies where you rather watch the Let Me Explain, than the movie itself
lmaoooo word!
Idk lol I love watching these trash films xD 😂 I force my husband to watch them with me.
Right
I love watching these movies, then watching the review and reading the comments.

David had a prior marriage with a woman who looked exactly like her. So the obsession had been there for a long time with the divorce being the tipping point.
“cause my dude didn’t hang..he completely fell off that cliff” 😂😂
That entanglement joke at the start had me dead😂😂😂
The irony.
They actually turned down a lot of Nia's ideas.
Fam this movie was hilariously terrible. Nia and Omar deserve better
Literally! It was so bad 😂😭 I love both Nia & Omar but damnn they really took an L with this one 😂😭
They had too is white supremacy owned hollywood
"fatal entanglement" you killed me
Jada has entered the chat
So basically the good thing about this movie is that it made people respect Nia Long more, sure
I been respected her but this movie was def a down grade for her🤧
The way you snuck in "Are you lost baby gorl " 💀💀
I swear the way you edit...the timing....is perfect
“Are you lost baby girl?” STOP 😂😂
Even though her Samsungs upside down 🤣🤣🤣
“Difficult to work with” in regards to black women is code for “she is requesting progress and diversity which we find annoying”.
Or just basic creative integrity tbh.
I'm pretty sure its code for "bat-sh crazy woman, demanding things" like seeing a perfect balance within each department, like there currently is in the NBA :) GFY
Gareth Kruth did you not watch the entire video? What are you talking about?
wait so you are saying it's better to stop the movie until all departments have all race crew? isn't is a little unreasonable?
Galina Ev .... what? Literally what? Stop the movie? 🤦🏾♀️ wait, did we watch the same video? Did we read the same comment? What are you talking about?
For some reason, I thought this was about Will Smith’s wife cheating on him.
You mean it's not?
Of course u did... he is one of the only straigh black males left in hollywood so they gotta do a lifetime vid just about him lol
Can you do an LME of Candyman so we can all be prepped for when the sequel (do we call it that?) comes out? Thank you for always diving into the stories behind making the movies. Much love and appreciation
Yessss! I second it.

"Entanglement" is 2020's "conscious uncoupling"
The "Fatal Entanglement" joke, followed less than a minute later by "and now she's In Too Deep". That earned a subscribe.
Something strange, most low key movies that have sequel set up cliffhangers tend not to get a sequel but those that don't make set ups end up getting demanded for sequels
We need an LME on the old guard. Art, please make it happen
The wildest thing about this movie is that they expected me to believe Omar Epps, Dr. Foreman himself, is a dangerous threat
This channel is so underrated it's not even funny
There’s a movie that just came out it’s a bollywood called fatal entanglement and it is so good
The worst thing about Disney/Netflix is making people believe that they have the best movies of all time. and its users are arrogant enough to debate you about the basic elements of a great film. They don’t even realize that most of the movies are like twilights written on Wattpad.

The fact that he is a hacker , and that is a major way of them to just explain away stuff lol

Is it totally coincidental that I watched this movie some hours ago, and then I see this😂😂.
