I think because each episodes project is so detailed and time consuming it would be almost impossible for her to release videos constantly without diluting her brand...Which of course would be the opposite of everything Christine is and holds dear! That said, I agree that if she could, she would have millions of followers! I’m subscribed to her Patreon at the base tier and it’s worth every cent!...I pay $4.40 CAD tx included monthly. I pay / occasionally waste more than that on Apple rentals that often disappoint! Christine never does!

I, too, located an incredible antique crystal chandelier on Craigslist and it truly has to be one of the most amazing pieces in my home. With a little patience one can find exactly what you're looking for. I had never heard of the knife rests, but think I will spend some time online hunting for a set!

I love Dark Shadows! I was born in the nineties, and didn't know of it until the Tim Burton movie came out, but I watched the series and loved it. What did you think of the movie? I know a lot of people who really dislike it, but I thought it was great.

When Dark Shadows came out as a " soap opera " (I was born 1960 ) being popular in mid seventies, in middle school my girlfriend and I would race after school to her house and watch the next episode. We would just make it. She was literally in love with Barnabas . She even marked her neck with 2 red "dots/vampire bites" with a chiffon scarf. Lol. Brings many memories .
I chose "Angelique" for my confirmation name (being raised catholic in the 60s-70s) because of Dark Shadows. The movie was pretty good too w/ Depp as Barnabas.

Gorgeous! If you are keeping the table set like this long term (which is lovely), please be certain the bottoms of your plates are fully glazed. If parts of the plates that touch the table are not glazed and sit directly on the table (with no place mat between the two), over a prolonged period of time the finish on the table will bond with the unsealed ceramic and destroy the finish on the table. Learned this random fact from a ceramics class years ago.

OMG. Just bought an old Victorian in Rochester and moved and started fixing up the same as you. Literally finished painting the dining room. This series is timing up with my life in eerie ways.
OMG when you put the plates on the table I was like, WOW that looks like Bordalo Pinheiro ceramics! And then when you said he's name I was so surprised that they were really from the Portuguese creator of the amazing dishware and other ceramics. He's style is so iconic and has not changed much over time, some of he's pieces are very much your asthetic, or I always thought. So happy and surprised to see a little bit of Portugal in your home! ❤️
The butter knife goes across the top of the bread plate so the bun and butter can be placed on the plate with no problem. Too many formal dinners to count. Love your table setting.
One thing I will say in favour of adhering to the "rules" for these types of things is that it means that there is no confusion for your guests over what to use/do, which can happen if you forge your own path, if you will

the dish designer is a portuguese designer, raphael bordalo pinheiro who is very popular and loved in our contry, he made several art pieces. the brand still exists and there are several shops around the world, every piece is gourgeous

I have tons of that type of tableware! It’s Portuguese and they have the BEST patterns and colors! They use animals and plants and just create some of the sweetest and sturdy table wear.
