Great video and very inspiring. I have my first sports portrait session for a wrestling team next week and your video helps me feel like I can do it lol. Appreciate the content and explaining how capturing this style is achievable without crazy budget.
On lumix you could use exposure preview. I personally set as function on a button. It’s called “Preview” in list of functions. But it works not as Fuji preview.
When I shoot weddings with my Olympus OMD E-M1ii I under expose a little and I can see the camera making the changes in on the LCD screen. But when it gets really dark there is a setting to make the LCD and viewfinder brighter so you can see what is happening.
I saw a video that I think that was on NBC news years ago about a studio that only did high school seniors. And they charged I think like $4,000 to $5,000 dollars for photos. The kids that are on the football team. He brings them into his studio and its a large studio and they dump water on the football player so the photo has that hard rain look grid iron effect. For the girls I saw take this photo of this girl with her getting out of a sports car and I think it was just one leg that was out of the car and it looks like she's getting up. The photo looks like something that you might be in a Hollywood movie like Fast & Furious. I know he used a ultra wide angle lens. They did another story on this other photographer that photographs I think girls for the most part and this photographer she makes the girls look like queens from old England maybe like 500 years ago.
Seriously, the photos are surprisingly good for the relatively little effort.
Nice to see a new vid Eric!

I heard the new firmware for Fuji fixed the auto focus issues.
