I found that square neckline looks really good on curvy petite. Didn’t know that high neck makes you look bulky, although I know they don’t usually look flattering on me
I feel so uncomfortable this spring, because of gaining weight... I realized that I do all these mistakes!! So this video was an eye opener!!! I will be more comfortable immediately now! Thanks thanks thanks 👌🤩💕
Would you mind doing a video on corporate workwear for petites? I'm back in the office now, but it's hard to find clothes that are flattering, stylish, and appropriate
CHI, your tips are so on point. I made several of these mistakes when I was younger. Tight on tight, jersey , crew neck etc... Now I wear more cotton, linen, silk. Most of my tops have V neck.... Nude shoes are miracles, they go with everything and makes legs look longer. The only problem is it is hard to find nude sandals/shoes with low or medium heels with pointed toe. I really don't like squared toes , but they are everywhere. I have to wait them out.....
I am 5’4” and have experienced all the fashion mistakes you have point out on your channel. Have thrown out so many clothes after learning by trial & error - so great to hear you confirm my suspicions. Hoping to pass some of my new found wisdom to my teenage daughter who is 5’1” - unfortunately she is not yet interested enough in clothes to listen!
This is totally relatable, I'm a very very short person with a similar body type so these issues are very common to me. Thank you for such lovely content, I can totally feel this is me.
I'm 5'5" and not quite petite but still make use of these great tips! All of them make me look slimmer and taller and the neckline tips help minimize my bustiness!
Right? I may like the print but it’s so big, I feel like a billboard. If the print was small, would love. Too bad I can sew, sometimes I think it would be great if I could just make what I like!,
I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm sixty four and finally I'm concentrating on me and I am coming to terms with my figure shape and accepting it! five foot two, apple shaped as well!
I stay away from stiff fabrics. Choose cotton blends so they have a flattering “fall” on the body. Most budget sundresses are made of stiff cotton. Wedges and lugs are so clunky. Instead I look for block heels of varying heights in nude for support and elongation.
I’m not sure how I came across your video this morning, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! You are adorable and incredibly talented! While I am neither short nor petite, I was still able to gain knowledge on what not to wear. You would be a fantastic personal shopper.
Thank you, dear, for being so knowledgeable, professional, kind and funny!!! Pls, get more items of a good fabric to your online store, cause I need some! Thank you!!! :)))))
Oh dear, I´ve been through all these problems.. In my country being a petite person is almost a shame, so I have to dig tips from elsewhere. Thank you for the helpful videos!
Chi doesn't know it but she's my new best friend. THANK YOU!! 5'2" and in my 30s, and glad to finally be learning why I never felt quite right getting dressed!
I think tight outfits can be safe by wearing good shape-wears. It's a great solution, though. Have you tried them? It really helps smooth things out like magic if you've got the right size and good fabric. Anyway I agree with all the list you shared with us.. I just want to share personal experience with shape-wears.
I really love all your tips! They're really helpful for a curvy petite girl like me 💗Do you perhaps have any tips with long styled blouses? How can we wear them without making us look short and bulky? Thank you so much!
High waist paints fitted with partial front tuck looks great! If you don’t want to tuck then try tighter pants that are tight on ankle and taller shoes or wedges to help elongate.
I love your videos and style. I wish you had clothes for regular- tall ! I have a similar shape, except I'm not petite. Your advice has been so helpful! And your videos funny! Love it.
Thank-you so much, Chi!!! As someone who is 5' 0", your videos teach me so much every time. Could you kindly tell me the brand/style/store where you purchased that gorgeous blush pink, pleated skirt (without an elastic waist!) of yours? I have been searching for one without that dreaded elastic waist, and haven't been able to find one yet! Thanks so much, Jennifer 🙂
Hi Chi! I recently found your channel, and so far I have watched this, the one about petite women with big busts, and a few others. I’m a petite Asian woman: 4’8, 105 lbs, D cup with a big midsection that sticks out equal to my boobs (so I look fat) even though my arms and legs are very skinny. Aside from those tips you have mentioned in the videos, are there any tips for petite women with big boobs and a very big midsection? Thanks 🙏
It's actually better if you're heavy on top to go with a camisole top in the summer than a tank top that is "sleeveless"! The thinner straps look better! And detract from heavier upper arms!
Who do the boxy crop tops actually look good on? Love the tips you give! I’m a size smaller on top than on the bottom, so things like hourglass shapes look terrible on me…the A-line skirt is my best friend! Especially, for me to be above the knee…I have short legs/long torso, and the above the knee, a-line skirt balances me out a lot. I didn’t think about the higher neckline shirt being less flattering if you have a bigger chest…hmm, no wonder I always think I look better in a V neck shirt! Thanks, it helps not bothering to try some things on when you know what to avoid! So glad I found this channel!!
I just learned about belts. At 2:20, you don't have to throw out your elastic waist skirts/skorts, just add a belt (preferably matching) like with her pink pleated skirt.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. I am 5.4” and 120 pounds. I always have a problem when buying long sleeve blouses. I must have short arms because I either have to fold the sleeves, or slide them up my arms. Any solutions for this?
I agree, except for the shoes. It's always hard to find the right shoes, actually. You need a pair with every outfit, right? Anyway, it's just not easy to go to a store and find the right outfit. There is also the money factor. The short and large top... I totally agree.
I love the humourous little vignettes you include in your videos! Always make me smile!
Glad you like them!

Thank you! I'm 4'11 and not skinny, but most fashion advice is only for skinny, short women.
Hello there! I also have videos advice not only for skinny women, you can scroll through my channel ✨❤️
“Boxy tops will make you look like Sponge Bob’s cousin”. 😆🤣😆🤣😆
I totally get it. I am 5"4 and with a round face. when i wear box tops, I look like a soccer ball sticking out of a box.
@@littlelady7843 😆😆
And I don't want anything to do with Sponge Bob in my life.
I burst out laughing 😂
Lol
Would you mind doing a video on corporate workwear for petites? I'm back in the office now, but it's hard to find clothes that are flattering, stylish, and appropriate
Same!
I totally agree with you on the high neck shirts!
Hello, great video! Can you please let us know where you got the sandals at the end? The lovely light brown ones. Thank you!
Chi, you are a godsend, and I just wanted to say it again! Your insight, time, videos: priceless! 🌿🌺🌿
Yes thank you Chi!
I was making the tight on tight mistake
And the bulky shoes
@@Blood_bought1 , you’re lucky! I’ve done all of this at some point in time.. lol. So reassuring to see it here, pointed out, clearly!
Wow, thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you for explaining to me exactly why I hate boxy crop tops on me. Someone needed to have shown me this before I entered Gap 💀
I'm not even petite, but I watch because I appreciate your tips. Also, you're entertaining and hilarious!

Check out etsy!! I also got a lovely pair of nude pointed flats with ankle strap on ASOS
So glad you like them! Thanks for sharing, Little Lady!

Please make a video on what fits n fabrics suit rectangle body
I love her commercials and I never skip them; she is hilarious😂
Thank you Chi, I also made these mistakes 🙂
I missed you 🥺. I waited and waited for the weekend to get my style tips. I'm happy now I can confidently go out into the world.
Oh wow, so glad you like them!
U have a sharp eye for detail
This is totally relatable, I'm a very very short person with a similar body type so these issues are very common to me. Thank you for such lovely content, I can totally feel this is me.
I agree with your advices on shoes, except for the wedges. Wearing nude wedges makes you have hooves instead.
Great advice, Chi. Thanks!
Thank you, vylia!

Wow! So glad it was helpful, April!
Could you please list the wedges too??? 💕💕💕💕
You are absolutely right about the prints. It's a pity that in case of bigger sizes, the prints seem to get bigger and louder.. 😑
Right? I may like the print but it’s so big, I feel like a billboard. If the print was small, would love. Too bad I can sew, sometimes I think it would be great if I could just make what I like!,
Your tips are very accurate and your funny comments are so on point. The whole video is quite helpful, thank you!

Thanks was just about to buy elasticated pleated skirt. Wish there was some solution to boxy tops. I have a couple and don't want to throw them away.
I loved all the tips. They are practical, and your sense of humor is pleasant.
I really need to write all the advise down cause I don’t know which wardrobe prices to get rid of . Thank you for all your advise
