      I planted rice in Mahaicony, and a cat 312 excavator killed a 22 foot anaconda in the rice field trench it was excavating. Pierced by a bucket tooth, the snake extended all the way to the ground. 22+ feet.

    More cameras are out there these days. These are no more just a one in a million sighting. Plenty are out there. They were just rare to find so large. As a kid living in Guyana in the mid 80's, there was a slow moving canal near my house. It was known locally as the "40 Foot", supposedly since it was once that wide and that deep in it's glory days which saw it free of debris and overgrowth. Finally, this clogged up watereay was going to get cleaned out. So the backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks showed up to start the job. All was well on the first day. As they moved down the canal on the
    second day, and started excavating/dredging deeper, my family and I heard this sudden burst of
    screaming and yelling from people outside of our house near by the canal. We were all inside our house! My grandpa, grandma, an uncle, my two cousins, and I ran out to the verandah to figure out what was causing the commotion. We were all in disbelief and horror when we saw what the dragline (excavator) had dredged up from the canal. There was a 30ft plus
    anaconda whose midsection was laid across the raised bucket of the machine. Hanging down the sides were its head and tail. Both were nearly touching the ground. It was absolutely surreal! I was terrified! Soon after, Georgetown Zoo personnel showed up with a Tata flatbed truck to try and rescue the animal. Their initial
    measurement of its length at the site was 33 ft. Proper measurements taken at the Zoo facility upon it's arrival there were recorded. It was later printed on a plaque and placed near the exhibit. Their official claim of length was 34ft-10in with a weight
    of 950lbs. Many people visited the Zoo to see this behemoth. Likewise, I saw it once more when my uncle took me for a visit. That's the stuff you don't forget. Bigger ones are out there. In time, we will discover more and more! And the cameras will prove these are not myth!

      Humans are notoriously bad at judging the sizes of snakes. Many scientific studies have been done on the phenomenon. Most people overestimate large snakes length by 30-40% on average. The snakes in this video were also exaggerated in size and not actually measured.
      No anaconda has ever been proven to exceed 20ft 6 inches (Pitssburg zoo 1960). No living snake on earth reaches 30ft, period. I believe you thought you saw a 30ft snake. But i'd bet literally anything that you did not see a 30 foot snake, because there is no such thing as a living snake that is 30ft. It was almost certainly less than 20ft too. Only 2 anaconda in history have reached 20ft, and they were over 40 years apart. It is extreeeemely rare. Anaconda are not even the worlds largest snake. That is a misconception. infact I personally keep 2 python species that exceed the anaconda in weight, and one that even exceeds them in length. There are actually at least have a dozen python species that grow considerably faster than anaconda do.

    • @alexcrowder1673
      @alexcrowder1673 Місяць тому

      The largest confirmed anaconda was 20ft 6 inches and barely 300lbs and housed in pittsburg zoo in 1960. Even believing in 35ft anaconda is like believing that 15ft tall humans exist despite that being nearly double the world record. It is extremely ignorant. Anaconda is not even the worlds largest snake. I personally keep a couple python species that get either longer, heavier, or both.

    • @paulfeasal6024

      It is the biggest snake not extinct in the world. Not the longest. Only about 2 feet difference between the Green Anacondas and the Reticulated Pythons for the longest snake. Earlier records were kicked out of the record books. However they weren't no 50 feet either. Seems the longest for Reticulated Pythons and Green Anacondas is around 30 feet. But spotting any of those species that legth is like a human spotting a human that's over 8 feet tall. A few people have gotten that height in history the tallest person for that year may not be 8 feet. But we know they hit the height of 8'11 and a half for the tallest man. That person lived a 100 years a go. So I think in the right conditions a snake can get over 30 feet. However they need the right temperatures while growing amd the right weather conditions. It has been proven that snakes that lived in weather that the earth is on average ten degrees hotter were the biggest snakes in Earth's history. Titanaboa and another snake from India were over 40 feet in length at one time.

      Which then is the biggest?

    • @paulfeasal6024
      @paulfeasal6024 Місяць тому

      @innocentchasha941 I don't really think anyone knows. I mean every time we have a Anaconda or Python that's over 30 feet recorded by reputable sources it get knocked out by scientist. There's been plenty of measurements over 30 feet long for both the Anacondas and Reticulated Pythons that was verified by the Gueness book of records. However then they get knocks out later by scientist saying they can't get that big. Even in the Marine biology for the military has way different statistics than the scientist put out now. So my guess is is both the Anacondas and Reticulated Pythons can get around 30 feet. The difference is an Anaconda can weigh 600 pounds and a Reticulated Python can be over 300 pounds. I think the last 30 footer was 350 pounds for a Reticulated Python that was held in captivity, which is the longest snake ever to be held in captivity. The second longest Reticulated Python in Captivity was around 25 feet and close to 300 pounds. Not sure the weight because it varies based on the sources. Back in the day when I was young they had an longest Anaconda in the Gueness book of Records listed at 36 Feet and the Longest Reticulated Python listed at 38 feet. The Anacondas were listed as the largest snakes. I do not believe this though that the Anacondas and Reticulated Pythons are currently the biggest and longest snake species on earth though. Two reasons why are a Congo sighting of a Python and the Indians spotted something way bigger than the Anacondas in South America. The reason for the snake one is I was watching a fishing expedition and the fisherman came across snake tracks and an area wear tue snake layed. This snake was well over 30 feet based on the tracks the natives called it some name amd said it wasn't an Anaconda. It looked different they said. The Congo one some Pilots saw a massive snake took pictures of ot and reported it to their chain of command in the Congo. The snake was well over the size of the Anacondas or the Reticulated Pythons that have been recorded. Keep in mind the internet has a lot of fake spoons that are easily disproved if you read around for the same story then have a totally different species of snake posted then what the story was about. They also take pictures and increas the size of the snake when it was caught. So a lot of fake things out their. However 80 percent of this stuff don't require special technology to tell. So based oof all the listed misleading information and the real information I have seen my guess is the largest Anacondas and Reticulated Pythons get to a max around 30 feet and weigh as much as 600 pounds or 350 pound for the Reticulated Pythons. Burms and African Rocks ain't getting much over 25 feet in reality probably more like 18 feet to 20 feet. The King Cobra the longest they listed right now is 18 feet but back in the day the longest was 23 feet. Also back in the day the Gueness Book of records and the Marine biology have Great Whites listed the same length as Basking Sharks. Also keep in mind based off the temperatures of the Titanaboa, Megaledon, that large Crocodile and large extinct snake from India they get much larger when the earth's average temperatures were 10 degrees warmer on average a few million years ago. So increasing temperatures we are facing with the global warming mean increasing animals sizes line sharks, crocks and snakes.

      I hear that! You don't even think about it, just pull them up - better safe than sorry😂😂!! Jaws ruined lakes for me! I grew up in Michigan, and my grandparents had a cottage on a beautiful lake, but nope! My cousin was 3 years older (I was only 10 when 'Jaws' came out) and I always envied her water skiing and later with jet skis! I live in Arizona now, and it's rare ill even get in a pool!! Sad (sigh), very sad🙄. My grandkids watched Jaws, and weren't impressed. 'That's what you're afraid of, Nana?' they scoff (sigh) 'Well, but it was scary when I was a kid!' 'Uh.....ok, Nana. It's ok.'🙄 But, but......🙄

      I'm that way with spiders. It sucks hiding from them since they can also walk on walls and the ceiling where they can plop down on you. The only thing I'm happy about is that they don't have wings or I'd really be screwed.

    LOL that "drone" they disturbed everything with then crashed and lost it was my favorite part! That ridic glove bending her wrist like that goodness thank you for the laugh Edit: right after i wrote this the RC camera was just funny.

    • @tylerpaps4137
      @tylerpaps4137 Місяць тому +1

      That made me laugh also. They called it a "drone" lol. It was a gas powered RC helicopter. They're kids lost all their toys so the parents could go play in the jungle. They lost their RC helicopter, RC car, toy submarine and a stuffed animal. Also the Anaconda is NOT the largest snake in the world. It's the heaviest. The Reticulated Python is the largest or longest. A totally amateur documentary with the big climax at the end being an Anaconda gang bang. I bet after seeing that the woman got a little scared. If you know what I mean.😊

    Wonderful documentary. Interesting how anaconda can sometimes be so docile both in th wild and captivity. Must have to do with them having full bellies.

    • @alexcrowder1673
      @alexcrowder1673 Місяць тому

      Nope, a snake with a full belly would be only more easily irritated. Snakes are simply not the monsters everyone seems to think they are. They will not attack a human unless they feel threatened. Snakes get no benefit from picking a fight with a human, period.

  • @IngridSaybe

    Where is the super hero? It is scary, but so interesting. Amazing to watch her swimming so close to that wild specie. Even though they had all the ‘ toys’, it was not that easy to get those images. Nature as I say is unpredictable! I never saw so many snakes getting out of their mother, and being able to be on their own, with length of 90 cm. Gosh. Compare to a male which is 3 mts.!
    All kind of wild species. From capybaras, to caiman and pumas. Beautiful guacamayos. Thanks so much……
