Congratulations to the winners, and special thanks to my 7 helpful acolytes for joining in on this! Now that I'm free of this abomination of a project, lemme know below what you'd like to see me do next!
Possible concept somehow derived from this one: a group of modellers (don't know how many would be a good number), and each one comes up with a character concept/brief. All others have to realize it. So you basically end up with each modeller's rendition of every script. It's basically a more strict and focused version of what you usually do with a Derfscord challenge, where a common theme is given. I think it would be funny and interesting to compare how much alike and different the various authors are able to go, being given the same prompt. This can also lead to some sort of game, like presenting all the models without saying which one's which, and people have to guess. Or actually crediting the authors but you have to guess for each character who originally submitted the profile, based on which one looks like the most closer to the script, etc. I hope my less than average English allows you to understand what I'm trying to say XD
That goblin eye trick blew my mind. It's far from the most impressive trick in this compilation of mastery, for sure, but something about it is just amazing.
AYO!! I actually got selected, whaaat!!? Thank you ToastyThommy and all the reworkers for these amazing models, and The Man Himself Derf for organising this very big project! Seeing this community steadily and certainly growing warms my heart.
Thank you for the kind words and for the opportunity, Derf :D This was my first time reworking a model and in the end it was a fun experience, leveled up by the awesome work everyone have put together. Also loved how you've redone your 3 models, and neat trick on the goblin eyes :)
I gotta say, I've never really seen pro hero-forge stuff so I kinda was thinking going in like "how good can these actually be" but goddamn these were all stunning
These are all great. Your 3, in particular, were amazing! I'm greatly jealous of your ability to effectively come up with simple yet spot on poses, as well as knowing what little tricks to implement into your builds. The trick with the goblin's eyes is one I know I will use many times onward.
What a baller video fr. A celebration of the hero forge community. When you announced it and all the people doing it with you I was pumped. All the people are legends and role models. Really epic video fr combining all our hero forge heros. All the designers really brought their own special skills. Really grand video dawg, there better be a part two eventually or I'll riot
Hahahah rest assured I have plans to do this again in the future. Thank you for your kind words, and yes, I really can't stress how much appreciation I have for the AVENGERS for coming together to help me out with this
Derf: "Honestly, there's a limit to how many belts you can have, okay?" Tetsuya Nomura: "Here's a character whose skirt is made entirely out of belts. Good luck, graphics team!"
is there a video that gives more detail on floating glitch or is it already patched? Also, can you do more in depth video on how to use lighting effect. I am new to pro and having trouble figuring it out.
I like the way you redid my model, as compares, your take is much more post-apocalyptic looking. Maybe I should start referring to the lineup as post-post-apocalyptic instead lol.
My strive was to make a model that could look like it was either Medieval or Post Apocalyptic in the traditional sense, as I wasn't 100% sure whether or not it was supposed to be in a low fantasy or a dark sci-fi setting - but yea I had a lot of fun with yours for sure, particularly in the posing
@@Derfholm yeah, i was trying to for a "we're past the point of living in bombed out shacks" type look, where you've got fulltime tailors and the like again, but I ended up making something that looks like it'd be just as at home in a setting hundreds of years earlier. I still like the look though, its very actiony, I might just end up headcannoning it as garb from back when the cult was just starting out.
tbh I think it's kinda weird to take someone's female character with normal proportions and practical armor and remake her with a pencil-thin waist and massive hips and high heels
It is the usual old no-legs glitch. I don't have any video which goes over it, but if you pick up the link for that model you can strip it of wings and tails etc and you'll be able to use it yourself
It's a common glitch people refer to as the 'floating body' glitch or the 'no legs' glitch. You can go into the Description and pick up the Derf's Cut Cerys model if you want to toy around with it yourself!
Awesome video! It always inspires me to try and go next level with my own models... and then i get frustrated because i cant get the glitches to work lol😅
If we submit models for future subscriber model rework videos, can we submit the same one as before? I'm really curious to see what one of you guys can do with my Venom-esc Blood Hunter.
wow these are all incredible, the giant has to be my favourite though! hopefully the wheel will land on me next time 🙏 also if anyone seeing this knows, how does derf do the snowball trick thing with the poses, i always wonder every time i see it
Hi, and welcome! Yeah all of the models that don't use glitches are perfectly printable and in colour. But- I wouldn't try it with anything that uses a floating glitch like the fiery model I made.
I have an old video which goes over it - it's outdated by now, but the glitch instructions still hold up, here; ua-cam.com/video/MOE1ZNGLbyc/v-deo.html
imagine you wanted a cool action pose that shows off THE CHARACTER and they just have him sit down and none of the detail is on the character at all. complicated build but damn id be disappointed

A subscriber model rework lol
@@Komix777 pahahahahah ok you got me good
Having subscribers submit names and you making models based on your interpretation of the name
Maybe subscribers could submit descriptions and backstories for characters and you design them based off of the story

I always love to see goblins, more goblins is my suggestion.

Epic rework my friend
The rework was FUEGO.

The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural.
I'm uncle and I just wanna say, cheesus, I love what you did to my character man, thank you so much.
Thanks for reworking Swordmaster Strud for me Derf! im going to easily have the coolest token in our curse of strahd roll 20 game now
That goblin was my favourite for sure but don't tell anyone
Beltmaster Strud
That goblin is awesome. Its like Geralt as a green skin.
Late but he's also kinda got the Radiant Dawn Ike armor going on
I didn’t expect it to be released this early! Good shit!
hahahah yeah I've been grinding pretty hard at this one

Ayup, Gettar killed it for sure
Ty, I'm glad it came out good in the end^^ That doggo was a lil pain to make XD
Congrats to all that was chosen! Great Video like always
I saw myself on the wheel! sadly didnt get chosen, but hey, fate ahtes me anyways. Good video as always, and thanks to everyone!
Thank you for submitting!
Been a while since i last checked the channel, i'm happy there is so much content to binge now

one of the techniques you may have found useful here is the use of a glitched model with no head but all the head supplements (eyes, hair, beard, etc)
is there a video that gives more detail on floating glitch or is it already patched? Also, can you do more in depth video on how to use lighting effect. I am new to pro and having trouble figuring it out.
The Kobold kinda gives vibes of like lv1 vs lv20 which I think is cool

By making a badass Goblin Witcher, you earned a sub. XD
lets go first one here!!, love you derf🥰

And yea, Toasty's giant is fkn perfect
Thank you Lord Derf! i must've missed it when i watched that one haha
Im new to the channel and im curious if these models are printable from heroforge in color? Idk if this is asked too much sorry im new

Yeah all of the models that don't use glitches are perfectly printable and in colour. But- I wouldn't try it with anything that uses a floating glitch like the fiery model I made.
@@Derfholm awesome, loving going through your videos and seeing all the cool stuff your making!
How do you make that heroforge filter you use in your dnd videos?
It's a filter in Photoshop called Poster Edges!
are this model 3D printing ok or no .
new to hero forge, are stacked models printable? or is it just for more custom options?
How do you do the floating glitch
I have an old video which goes over it - it's outdated by now, but the glitch instructions still hold up, here;
ua-cam.com/video/MOE1ZNGLbyc/v-deo.html
How do I enter a model for reworking?
With all the clipping and everything would you still be able to print the models?
Yes! Not the one with the floating flames, since yknow, items can't float IRL - but everything else would be printable just fine!
