@@TheWoolyShambler29 you cant start a business if you don’t have money. A lot of people dont have good enough credit to get a loan for that kind of thing, either. The only way to get rich nowadays is to go insanely viral on tiktok, which is not guaranteed even if you try your hardest to do so.
There will always be competition from people able to get a “small loan of a million dollars” from their parents to contend with.
Upward social mobility is very rare. Downward is common.

What I enjoyed about “Cream” is the fact that it causes a bunch of ethical issues (reviving the dead, turning dumb people smart, turning ugly people beautiful, etc.), but it’s only when it starts affecting the people at the top and hurting profits that it becomes a problem.
Also, arresting a person for “upsetting people” and “wasting time” is very British.

Ive always loved this work of firth’s more than salad fingers, with its critiques of society. Im glad people are giving it more attention, especially as in real life potential fixes to issues are constantly shot down in the interests of corporate greed, and the capitalistic system grows increasingly closer to its inevitable grisly end (billions in poverty, 1% of the population holding 99% of the wealth, that kinda thing)
