GilvaSunner was a channel that recieved 3500 copyright takedowns from Nintendo. The channel focused on uploading game OST's including Nintendo music as the company refuses to upload their music anywhere on the internet. They had a range of playlists for viewers to open and listen to, their favourite songs from Mario, Zelda, Undertale etc. However in 2022, 3500 of those videos would come crumbling down due to copyright.

That is truly sad, either Gilvasunner makes a return, or many UA-camrs collaborate to upload many video game music videos and push back this UA-cam copyright madness.

Good news. There is one archive channel that re-uploaded all of GilvaSunner's content.
Would get striked again. It needs to be uploaded by by russian to some russian servers so that Nitendo's claims could be simply ignored.

For me, its not only the music. But the Comments! I miss them so much, especially under the games music i grew up with, even my own comments. Capturing the mood and situation i wrote them.

I mean, it's not like he's stealing revenue. He's providing a service you can't get anywhere else, and far as I can tell not profiting off it. R.I.P. to a real one, and screw nintendo for not providing an official channel _and_ for taking down the alternative.

Has anyone wondered if it's some random employee at Nintendo and not exactly everyone at Nintendo? Some people working there probably have different mindsets than others.
I'm also not sure if TeamUA-cam knows enough about the situation to confirm anything, but that's just me.
Whether it's Nintendo or not, music take-downs shouldn't be allowed.

It's probably the legal team making these sorts of decisions. A move with such big publicity wouldn't be made by a random employee.

everytime a song is deleted another person uploads it again
Fun fact: after all the takedowns the most popular song in the remaining songs of the mother 3 soundtrack was the sad theme
A lot of channels get deleted after 1 or 2 strikes, Gilva had the whole copyright system weighing on their back
I came to a thought that, Gilva didn't put ads on his videos, but UA-cam did automatically. This was seen from a comment the uploader made from Wakaliwood Ghetto Rally video. This is probably the reason, UA-cam themselves. Nintendo is probably ok with people posting their soundtracks, with no intention of making $$$ out of them. But if there were ads, they would take them down, thinking they're making money out of the soundtracks.
I used to listen to all the Mario and Luigi games themes on his channel and I damn near cried when he got poofed.

Would you say that not making money from it makes it okay, or the fact that people owned the games and had no way to listen to their music outside of it? Or something else? I'm irritated, too, but I'm not sure whether or not anyone has the right to be, and I hate it when people are inconsistent in their beliefs about copyright just because the people affected in some situations are behind a company.

Nintendo is always so stingy with their properties. Silencing anyone who tries to listen to their music online and keeping it all to themselves. As well being extremely stubborn unwilling to come up with a solution to their predicament, like I don’t know, selling their music online.
I believe Nintendo has put their soundtracks on Spotify, but even then, you need to pay for a subscription JUST to listen to Nintendo music
Aacro X and Aacro Xtenshions are probably your best channels to listen to nintendo music.

That’s a totally different account. SiIva uploads remixes of soundtracks, whereas Gilva uploaded the actual soundtracks
I swear that a SAM turret should just malfunction and demolish the nintendo headquarters just by freak chance as some form of cosmic karma. If they don't reinstate Gilvasunners channel I would probably resort to the pettiest of things such as spray painting "Bring back GilvaSunner you heartless monsters" and "Don't buy from Nintendo until Gilvasunner is reinstated", even going as far to fly by and have it aerosol sprayed from a plane onto their roof, having it stand out with neons so bright they make a red blip in space. And I would be glad to not stop till they quote: "Get the message", and I encourage others with neon spray cans to do the same in protest.

SiIvaGunner was made in 2016, before Gilva’s shutdown, and remixes the soundtracks of games, but Gilva uploaded the real soundtracks of games
This can get resolved extremely easily. All we need is to get Elon Musk to help.
He uses his twitter frequently and interacts with the comments. If something controversial happens, we could simply all go there and try to get his attention in the comments.
Being a billionaire, a simple tweet from him carries a lot of weight financially and so UA-cam would have to take it seriously.

from what i know, the owner of the account never monetised the videos or the channel. i don’t thing gilvasunner earned a penny from the videos. it was purely done to put the music in a place where it would be easily accessible
