for years Minecraft UA-cam was being run by the top 'Old Minecraft UA-camrs' such as SkyDoesMinecraft, stampylonghead, DanTDM and PopularMMO's. nowadays it's a lot different, but what happened to Stampy, DanTDM, SkyDoesMinecraft and a lot more after their peak? Lets find out.

There was a minecraft youtuber who i watched as a kid. He was quite early to the minecraft grind. Also quite early to making minecraft roleplays. Only thing is. He’s norwegian. Meaning he had quite a limited audience as there was a limit to how many people could watch and understand his content. (There are not that many people that speek norwegian in this world.) I do Wonder if he would have become big if he spoke english. But then again. The charm of growing up watching somebody on UA-cam talk in your language has a certain nostalgia to it. You cant Get anywhere Else.
It’s honestly such sad news to know Stampy is ending lovely world but man what a journey it was. He absolutely had one of the biggest impacts in the history of Minecraft UA-cam.
He will always be my favourite no matter what.

It's a different era now. The only way to make Minecraft content is by making it fast-paced and heavily-edited. Do challenges like "100 days", "1000 days", "Minecraft, but...". You must also play some kind of "teaser" with subtitles within the first 30 seconds.
Back then we had more variety like roleplays, mod showcases, let's plays, Machinimas, building tutorials, map tours, creepypastas even. But we can't blame on the UA-camrs or the viewers. It's overly saturated and it's no longer the time where you can pretty much create whatever you want anymore. Your content needs to be optimized, from the thumbnail and editing. The colors in your thumbnail must contain the color red and bright colors. Your voice in your video must be loud with no gaps between words. Plus, topics like RPs and Let's Plays won't work, so UA-camrs must resort to following trends to survive. Whatever MrBeast and Dream are doing, everyone else must follow.
Ohh god... those are very wise words...u are really describing the dark reality of todays modern videos u have the same idea as me , at least there is people that understand .
I almost cried watching stampy's first video
I grew up watching all of these UA-camrs. They were my getaway from life for a few moments or hours when I felt suffocated by the world around me.

4:01 I wouldn't say stampy had that much of an impact as...
skydoesminecraft, he was literally the equivalent to pewds back in 2013 and became the #1 Minecraft channel surpassing captainsparklez in late 2013. and he was in the top 15 most subscribed channels on youtube at the time and was #1 until he got surpassed by DanTDM in 2016.
Just wanted to say stampy had a quite an effect but I think sky had more of one than stampy.
Not at all He was the face of Console edition me and many many others were console mains so he was the biggest impact for us and definitely equally as big of an impact as Sky, Dan and Pat.
Also his style of content was so so unique compared to the rest not saying he’s better but he absolutely had one that of the biggest impacts.

DanTDM didn’t suffer a downfall. he just got busy with life in general. He’s a dad now he has other responsibilities outside of UA-cam that’s understandable thing is Unspeakable just decide to disappear for a few months and then show back up on UA-cam with all these flashy cars and stuff in houses and that’s all welding. Good but in my opinion, that’s not why I watch his videos. That’s just all my opinion, full free to say what you wanna say.

Not the OGs but the modern ones absolutely the OGs from 2011 - 2015 are Legends but the new ones are cringe beyond all belief.
