Every gojira song I hear, I feel like it should have already been written. It's simple in a way, yet not. They're incredible.

@@dylanr7485 Well, to be fair. Joe has a very musical way of screaming. Which uplifts their melodic riffs. He’s still belting aggressively; but in recent years he has been improving his vocals a lot. He’s been doing this since “From Mars to Sirius.”

As an American I want to say this is the kind of quality missing in alot of American music today, not just metal. These guys have real talent, and are creating something interesting and cool, and the visuals of the video, to me with my humble opinion, are equally artistic and interesting. They are not relying on shock value of obscene lyrics or images to sell tickets, they are authentic while creating something that resonates on a deeper level with people, and that's what sets them apart as a truly great band.

The stars are Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka. Giza Pyramids were built with the same combination with those three stars. Those stars are in the Orion Constellation. And the brightest star in the Orion Constellation(and the brightest star in our sky): Sirius!

The pyramids were also built within the golden ratio as well which is impressive, since the Greeks didn’t even start to use it for another 2500 years give or take.

Sphinx is one of the tracks I listen the most from Fortitude...I was positively surprised to hear there will be a video and I cannot wait to watch it. I was hoping for a video for Into the Storm...seeing Gojira perform on a beach with stormy weather, heavy rain, everything black and white...losing their shirts into the storm 😫😉

Into The Storm definitely is the best thing on the album, shame it has only lyric video. Sphinx is on proud 2nd place though.

watching these guys become the best out there for the past 15 years has been a journey
Saw these guys last Friday in Nashville and thought it was one of my favorite shows I have ever seen. Was lucky enough to stand up front at stage right with Christian and it was a pleasure to see how happy he looked while he was doing his thing. Great band, great show. These guys are a class act all the way and 10 out of 10 live. Near perfect.
How early did you turn up to be able to stand at the front?

Saw Gojira in Portland Maine last night, blew the roof off! One of the best live bands I have had the pleasure of seeing.

I've always found Gojira's music to have the same feel as an album by Devin Townsend called Ocean Machine. The music "feels alive", organic. It must be related to production, who knows, but that's how I perceive it.
Ocean Machine is such a great album, deffo similar vibes, it must be in the way the tones/EQ of the guitars and drums.

I saw gojira in lisbon last month, i have seen a lot of metal concerts over the years... Never seen nothing like Gojira does. So from that day on, i will pay whatever they ask me to see them again. People say Gojira sound like Tool and Morbid angel but they never care to mention the fact that Gojira doesn't stick to any restrictions in their music they don't write in some specific abc order with repeating choruses in between (I could count with my 2 hands how many songs of theirs have choruses and they also deliver us things like what they did in Death Of Me, Dawn, Indians, The Link, Flying Whales, Wolf Down The Earth, Space Time, Remembrance, Love, This Emptiness, Le enfant Sauvage, The Gift of Guilt etc etc In the Wilderness so what they did with these songs is they changed shit up and did incredible shit.. they made the heaviest "diving into the heavy" sections I've ever heard and forget the heavy scale or the speed scale they win with what they do as a whole, every scale on the spectrum. 10/10 music
