Before I hit puberty, I really wanted to be a boy. It wasn't a fleeting thought, I actually hated being a girl. Once I hit puberty, being female felt completely right. Kids don't produce an abundance of estrogen or testosterone, so social aspects play a significant role. About 2 decades later, my half sister told me that our dad never wanted girls. That statement explained a lot. Surgery doesn't fit psychological issues.
just because you would rather go out and play with the boys, it does not mean you were "born in the wrong body" especially before puberty when there is no thought of sex. This bizarre idea's are projections from the "adults? " in the room. We all knew some "Tom Boys" when we were young and they all seems to change something in puberty
I knew several girls who said they preferred to be a boy before I hit puberty. That was in elementary school. They are all happily married now. And I lost track of one. But I am sure she did not become a trans person.
Me too, only my mom was the one who made me think that way, not my dad. My mom filled me with the idea that it's a man's world and women have to work twice as hard to get half as much. I remember pounding my chest and crying, trying to make sure I never grew breasts. Like you, at puberty that all changed.

I LOVE VAGINAS I LOVE everything and all of the parts that make them. But I don't want one of my own as part of my own body and if I did, I would suspect I was having a mental health issue and I would seek appropriate mental health assistance and not want my friends and family to agree with me and feed into my delusions which would do more harm in the long run for my physical, mental, and emotional health.

I am sure my dearly departed brother is rolling in his grave. He was from the "old school" medical school. IQ 165. He was a surgeon. Early on in his career he refused to do bypass surgery on cardiac patients. He was a surgeon before all the specializations began. In today's society he probably couldn't get in medical school. He made a decision in the 2000's to leave his practice. His analogy for his reasoning..."A doctor walks down the street and decides to take a short cut down an alley. He sees an attorney, an insurance rep and a hospital administrator. He decides to stay out of the alley". He set up a clinic where patients were treated first, and payment was based on ability to pay. He stitched up patients for a dollar if that is all they could afford, etc. He died a happy soul.

Those men are so naiive. They think it's all sunshine and rainbows. Vaginas are very complex and have issues of their own; ie yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, dryness, prolapse. There are days I wish I wasn't born female. I can't imagine what kinds of things can go wrong with trying to make one where it's not supposed to be.
Of course its a wound, why else would they need to dilate for life? Some will lie and say they dont but those same people then need revision surgery when it closes up. Hell an ear piercing will close up if you dont put an earring in it occasionally but a dick flip wont?
Its also castration. Even if the surgery went as planned with no extra complications, theres still no balls producing testosterone, and no penis left for sensation. If you were to have intercourse there would be no anatomy left to experience arousal or pleasure. It would just be pretending you’re into it while someone sticks it in your wound, and hopefully some fragment of you feels something. That little fragment of head left to imitate the clitoris. It doesn't help that this generation of parents has been fed the incredibly selfish messaging of "embryos aren't humans" and "my body my choice". I think this is the root of why these parents either don't care about their children or wish harm on them for their own benefit. It's all rooted in selfishness because they're taught that little humans are people so why would you think that a child is more important than an embryo. I didn’t think about considering this the new lobotomy scandal! I became a nurse in the late ‘60’s and I took care of women who had had a lobotomy to “calm them” and now were in their late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s and cannot take care of themselves. Once I started researching this, it made me sick to my stomach because all of the patients I saw were women. Sexual reassignment surgery is just as disgusting because it harms innocent children who have no clue what they are asking for!
And as an RN ,Inworked in urology for over 12 yrs. They end up with urine retention, bladder infections and unimaginable difficulties in the years after these horrible surgeries.
I am a non affirming mother with an 18 year old daughter who believes she is male. Just yesterday she was talking to me about lobotomies which she just learned about. She asked how a doctor could do something so risky and how the procedure could become acceptable. I gave her a raised eyebrow look. We talked for quite a while after, but she never seemed to see the irony in her statement. She is an incredibly bright child; a deep thinker and analyzer. I do not understand her inability to see this situation as it really is.
I would show your daughter examples of courageous women who can be looked up to. Also show her the ones who regret and had complications from the procedures. Just remember that time can help to eliminate these feelings that she is having. It may take some time.
Maybe pray about it and have her listen to this video, and see the photos to know and be able to make an informed decision from listening to those who have detransitioned.
While I personally think it’s crazy, I think we should just let people pretend to be the gender they want as It makes so much more sense than allowing Mutilating of bodies. Still shouldn’t be a decision that someone less than 30 years should make. There’s documentation of this being done

I have a friend going through this with her 14 year old daughter who is transitioning into a boy. The councillor told the single mom if she did not support this she would lose her only child by suicide! My friend was in complete shock and not a strong women she agreed out of complete fear. She tells me the child is always sick, upset, confused and angry. Anyone involved in this from teachers, principals, councillors, nurses, doctors, drug companies need to have every thing they own taken away and put in prior their entire life!
Well, in that case the mother should have removed her daughter from that school immediately. There needs to be strong anti-suicide faith (there are many Jewish, Christian and others) already instilled in the family. Finally seek outside professional help from sources who will back you.🌿

I’m not a conservative, but I am an ER nurse that has a lot of first hand experience with the aftermath of these surgeries. For years I’ve been screaming into the void that we are ruining these patients lives. I’ve taken care of probably dozens of trans patients, and every single one of them have additional psych diagnoses to gender dysphoria. Things like schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, psychosis. The problem is, we turned this into a political issue. I urge the people watching this video to look past the politics and see trans people for what they are: the victims of a healthcare system that sees their mental illness and pain as a source of long-term revenue. Don’t get mad at the left. They also believe that they are fighting on the righteous front. Get mad at the people who are pitting us against each other so that they can weaponize pain and anger. Be good and kind, even if it doesn’t always feel like the other “side” is doing the same.

As a child, I had an absolutely vicious case of O.C.D. If I heard about a disease on TV, I would become absolutely certain that I would get it. For example, during the Jack In The Box E. Coli outbreak, I was so terrified that I would die from this infection, that I started burning the skin off my hands with hot water to the point where I was hospitalized. My mom used to have to fill Ziploc bags with lotion and fasten them to my hands with elastics every night before bed. When I was between 11 and 13, I became obsessed with the idea that I actually had male internal reproductive organs. Why? Because I happened to see a TV documentary about hermaphrodites. I was already a tomboy. I was already "different" from my female friends because I didn't share the same stereotypically "girly" interests as them. I was already outcast, isolated. Since I was too young to have pelvic exams at that point in my life, I would slyly ask questions to try and determine whether or not I was actually a "boy, inside". I asked my brother if my voice was as high as my young niece's when I was her age, and he replied, "actually, I think hers was squeakier". I'll never forget that answer, as my stomach turned into knots. I don't think there was another girl on the planet who was more excited and relieved to get her first period, than myself. The point is, I truly believe that had I been born a few years later, this obsession would've most likely been affirmed. I would've been taught to accept and embrace my "manhood", and thrown into the arms of this cult. I learned later (by watching old clips of Mr. Rogers, I believe ) that the fear of either secretly being, or "turning into" a boy or a girl, is actually very common in children! It usually occurs at a younger age, when kids start to understand the differences between boys and girls more fully. I'm now in my mid-thirties and fully accepting of my individual experience of womanhood. It breaks my heart to see so many girls who just have anxiety, depression, a sense of otherness or loneliness, NOT being treated for their actual problems, but rather being used in this abusive medical experiment. These "professionals" should all be charged and punished for what they've done.
Remember folks, the doctor in Tennessee who stood before her colleagues and BRAGGED that every one of these 'patients' represented 1.4 MILLION DOLLARS in fees. AND for those who care about their healthcare, how come unconsented pelvic and rectal exams are STILL being done? HHS mandated that consent had to be given by the patient, and these vultures claim that their 'informed consent' form gives them permission. If they are willing to do this to vulnerable patients under anesthesia for the past 50 years, what makes anyone think that they would stop mutilating children?

It's been my experience that even horrifying concepts lose their power once the novelty has faded. Take for example the phrase, "starving African children". As descriptive, horrific, and sometimes accurate as this phrase might be, people don't visibly cringe when hearing those words any more. I know I was desensitized by having this concept thrown in my face whenever my grandmother noticed I didn't finish eating all the food on my plate. I think this phenomenon has been captured in pop culture; Heath Ledger's Joker speaks about it in The Dark Knight, saying "Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." I cannot believe what I am hearing. I have a rare genetic disorder, was used as a guinea pig as a child to develop synthetic testosterone. That was a nightmare enough, I cannot imagine what these children are being subjected to. The scars, mentally and physically, of these “procedures” will be lifelong and many will not survive the ramifications of being convinced to do so. *As to the medical establishment… Well, I watched a video of a medical conference where the profits of such mutilation were giddily discussed, as a huge “profit center” to be essentially exploited.

Allegedly I did research on my double hernia at 6 weeks old and cut from hip bone to other side and I've compiled that in 1966 didn't even recognize a infant can clearly feel pain without pain control. One of the problems that the advocates for these interventions seem to miss is that preventing pubertal development doesn’t allow for enough endogenous genital tissue growth to be able to successfully surgically create an artificial phallus or vuvla. Not only will such children undergo mutilation, but they’ll end up as adults with childrens’ “genitalia.”

If 16 year olds can drive cars and be trusted not to kill people with them, and with parent permission 16 year olds can get tattoos, and 17 year olds can join the military. At 18 you can vote, and be married own property and have kids, but not buy most guns, rent a car, drink or smoke. The laws regarding actions based on age dont make sense, and the development of the frontal lobe doesnt seem to be much of a factor. It shouldnt be one in my opinion anyway.

I so miss old-school Dr’s (we’re talking maybe 1950’s and later) they were actually way more Holistic than we thought them to be. You would think as we evolved to present-day Dr’s, preventive & integrative medicine wills become the norm… instead holistic practices became “unscientific” and they started teaching Prescribe, Anesthetize, & Cut Up as the main way to treat patients.

We went to my grandpas funeral ten years ago. I pulled on my preschoolers ear and told him to listen. He didn't cry but Sat down and acted better My uncles criticised my parenting. Ten years later, we went to my grandmother's funeral. One of them left town really quickly and we never heard from him. His daughter showed up to the funeral as a boy walking with a cane and starting to bald at about twenty. The woman handing out roses for granddaughters even asked where she was and mistook her for another cousin that didn't come. It wasn't an affirming moment. The elderly woman was confused. How am I the worse parent?

I heard that there are 2 cases 1 in California and I in Illinois. The parents would not go along and their children were taken from them because they were unfit parents because they would not affirm there child's gender identity.

Before I hit puberty, I really wanted to be a boy. It wasn't a fleeting thought, I actually hated being a girl. Once I hit puberty, being female felt completely right. Kids don't produce an abundance of estrogen or testosterone, so social aspects play a significant role. About 2 decades later, my half sister told me that our dad never wanted girls. That statement explained a lot.

I am sure my dearly departed brother is rolling in his grave. He was from the "old school" medical school. IQ 165. He was a surgeon. Early on in his career he refused to do bypass surgery on cardiac patients. He was a surgeon before all the specializations began. In today's society he probably couldn't get in medical school. He made a decision in the 2000's to leave his practice. His analogy for his reasoning..."A doctor walks down the street and decides to take a short cut down an alley. He sees an attorney, an insurance rep and a hospital administrator. He decides to stay out of the alley". He set up a clinic where patients were treated first, and payment was based on ability to pay. He stitched up patients for a dollar if that is all they could afford, etc. He died a happy soul.

I didn’t think about considering this the new lobotomy scandal! I became a nurse in the late ‘60’s and I took care of women who had had a lobotomy to “calm them” and now were in their late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s and cannot take care of themselves. Once I started researching this, it made me sick to my stomach because all of the patients I saw were women. Sexual reassignment surgery is just as disgusting because it harms innocent children who have no clue what they are asking for!

I am a non affirming mother with an 18 year old daughter who believes she is male. Just yesterday she was talking to me about lobotomies which she just learned about. She asked how a doctor could do something so risky and how the procedure could become acceptable. I gave her a raised eyebrow look. We talked for quite a while after, but she never seemed to see the irony in her statement.
She is an incredibly bright child; a deep thinker and analyzer. I do not understand her inability to see this situation as it really is.
There is a mass confusion with our children. Just continue to remind her who she is. Keeping off social media and radical people helps
I would show your daughter examples of courageous women who can be looked up to. Also show her the ones who regret and had complications from the procedures. Just remember that time can help to eliminate these feelings that she is having. It may take some time.
Maybe pray about it and have her listen to this video, and see the photos to know and be able to make an informed decision from listening to those who have detransitioned.

The councillor told the single mom if she did not support this she would lose her only child by suicide! My friend was in complete shock and not a strong women she agreed out of complete fear. She tells me the child is always sick, upset, confused and angry. Anyone involved in this from teachers, principals, councillors, nurses, doctors, drug companies need to have every thing they own taken away and put in prior their entire life!

I’m not a conservative, but I am an ER nurse that has a lot of first hand experience with the aftermath of these surgeries. For years I’ve been screaming into the void that we are ruining these patients lives. I’ve taken care of probably dozens of trans patients, and every single one of them have additional psych diagnoses to gender dysphoria. Things like schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, psychosis. The problem is, we turned this into a political issue. I urge the people watching this video to look past the politics and see trans people for what they are: the victims of a healthcare system that sees their mental illness and pain as a source of long-term revenue. Don’t get mad at the left. They also believe that they are fighting on the righteous front. Get mad at the people who are pitting us against each other so that they can weaponize pain and anger. Be good and kind, even if it doesn’t always feel like the other “side” is doing the same.

This is really sick
As a child, I had an absolutely vicious case of O.C.D. If I heard about a disease on TV, I would become absolutely certain that I would get it. For example, during the Jack In The Box E. Coli outbreak, I was so terrified that I would die from this infection, that I started burning the skin off my hands with hot water to the point where I was hospitalized. My mom used to have to fill Ziploc bags with lotion and fasten them to my hands with elastics every night before bed. When I was between 11 and 13, I became obsessed with the idea that I actually had male internal reproductive organs. Why? Because I happened to see a TV documentary about hermaphrodites. I was already a tomboy. I was already "different" from my female friends because I didn't share the same stereotypically "girly" interests as them. I was already outcast, isolated. Since I was too young to have pelvic exams at that point in my life, I would slyly ask questions to try and determine whether or not I was actually a "boy, inside". I asked my brother if my voice was as high as my young niece's when I was her age, and he replied, "actually, I think hers was squeakier". I'll never forget that answer, as my stomach turned into knots. I don't think there was another girl on the planet who was more excited and relieved to get her first period, than myself. The point is, I truly believe that had I been born a few years later, this obsession would've most likely been affirmed. I would've been taught to accept and embrace my "manhood", and thrown into the arms of this cult. I learned later (by watching old clips of Mr. Rogers, I believe ) that the fear of either secretly being, or "turning into" a boy or a girl, is actually very common in children! It usually occurs at a younger age, when kids start to understand the differences between boys and girls more fully. I'm now in my mid-thirties and fully accepting of my individual experience of womanhood. It breaks my heart to see so many girls who just have anxiety, depression, a sense of otherness or loneliness, NOT being treated for their actual problems, but rather being used in this abusive medical experiment. These "professionals" should all be charged and punished for what they've done.
The upcoming and ongoing psychological and physical costs of this insanity that are going to be astronomical.

I grew up in the 90’s I remember when I turn 13 I suddenly got whistles and cat calls and it was awful to be sexualized and I would have done anything to disappear. I wore three sweatshirts to hide my boobs. I refused to run the mile at school because I was so big busted a sports bra was not helping. By 15 16 I felt more adjusted. Kids need the time to grow emotionally before they are pathologized

Usually, words aren't a problem for me, but the description of the surgeries has left me nearly speechless, with a contorted facial expression & a strange combination of fury & emotion. I want to run & protect these children & imprison the doctors performing these procedures & whack the parents who allow this in the head!
No person in their right mind would agree to such a procedure. They'd cross dress & enjoy their God-given bodies. Pleasure can not be experienced after such procedures. Basic functioning would be inhibited. It's horrifying. It's like Frankensteins monster! And on children! The least among us who don't even know what normal is supposed to feel like or who they are!
Any parent who would agree to their child undergoing such a horrific ordeal is mentally ill, delusional, or at the very least grossly misinformed... This is pure evil. 😡😭😡😭

It's been my experience that even horrifying concepts lose their power once the novelty has faded. Take for example the phrase, "starving African children". As descriptive, horrific, and sometimes accurate as this phrase might be, people don't visibly cringe when hearing those words any more. I know I was desensitized by having this concept thrown in my face whenever my grandmother noticed I didn't finish eating all the food on my plate. I think this phenomenon has been captured in pop culture; Heath Ledger's Joker speaks about it in The Dark Knight, saying "Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying!”

They change words to change reality just like in 1984. They started calling a mastectomy "top surgery" to make it sound causal instead of scary and clinical. They called it "bottom surgery" instead of penectomy, castration 1and vaginal construction using skin grafts. They are "women" instead of mentally ill transsexuals who engage in self mutilation to further their delusions. When a schizophrenic comes up raving about How the voice of a demon in their head told them they are the second coming of Jesus and they must save the world we lock them in a mental institution and force medicate them until they come back to the real world. Even though to them that is their real world and they can't help it. But when a 6'4 bearded man with a 8 inch sausage says he's a woman.....we tell everyone it's illegal to contradict him and we provide ways for him to live out his delusions. So why are we treating them differently? The schizophrenic is just as mentally ill as the transgender, so why is one considered a threat to themselves and others and the other isn't?
I cannot believe what I am hearing. I have a rare genetic disorder, was used as a guinea pig as a child to develop synthetic testosterone. That was a nightmare enough, I cannot imagine what these children are being subjected to. The scars, mentally and physically, of these “procedures” will be lifelong and many will not survive the ramifications of being convinced to do so.

One of the problems that the advocates for these interventions seem to miss is that preventing pubertal development doesn’t allow for enough endogenous genital tissue growth to be able to successfully surgically create an artificial phallus or vuvla.
Not only will such children undergo mutilation, but they’ll end up as adults with childrens’ “genitalia.”
Correct . It makes a vaginoplasty a much higher risk surgery. Not that it isn’t already a risky surgery with serious sequelae.

Eeeh, that argument is a slippery slope. Ya gotta let people be adults at some point. If 16 year olds can drive cars and be trusted not to kill people with them, and with parent permission 16 year olds can get tattoos, and 17 year olds can join the military. At 18 you can vote, and be married own property and have kids, but not buy most guns, rent a car, drink or smoke. The laws regarding actions based on age dont make sense, and the development of the frontal lobe doesnt seem to be much of a factor. It shouldnt be one in my opinion anyway.

I so miss old-school Dr’s (we’re talking maybe 1950’s and later) they were actually way more Holistic than we thought them to be. You would think as we evolved to present-day Dr’s, preventive & integrative medicine wills become the norm… instead holistic practices became “unscientific” and they started teaching Prescribe, Anesthetize, & Cut Up as the main way to treat patients.

As someone who has made it to 67yrs, I can tell you for sure that someone under 18 is not mature enough to make a life changing decision as this. Many of them will wake up one day in horror of the irreversible damage they have done to their body.

We went to my grandpas funeral ten years ago. I pulled on my preschoolers ear and told him to listen. He didn't cry but Sat down and acted better My uncles criticised my parenting. Ten years later, we went to my grandmother's funeral. One of them left town really quickly and we never heard from him. His daughter showed up to the funeral as a boy walking with a cane and starting to bald at about twenty. The woman handing out roses for granddaughters even asked where she was and mistook her for another cousin that didn't come. It wasn't an affirming moment. The elderly woman was confused. How am I the worse parent?

My son is dying in n prison for a one punch they gave him 18 yrs, he can’t get his medicine on time but they are paying for men starting at 300,00 to get sex change operations. I cannot get my head around why this can happen, let alone a parent allowing this for a child. Just why.
I heard that there are 2 cases 1 in California and I in Illinois. The parents would not go along and their children were taken from them because they were unfit parents because they would not affirm there child's gender identity.
When you go into graphic detail about all this you quickly realize how bad it is. They paint it as "it's just a change to make your outside match your inside." They make it sound like you're just putting on makeup. But it's way way worse than it's made to seem. I'm glad they are talking about it.
My son went through transition is now female,went through all that it was a desaster,bad op,bad matience, lots of pain,fusion of skin and you name it,still suffers pain ...a lot. Is now a compleatly changed person ,Narcistic and abusive ,and as crazy as a loony tune.I did everything to help,and care for but my loving kind son is no more stole my money cleaned out my bank and abused me..........These people sometimes are never the same.

As a healthcare worker, I am ashamed of the medical professionals who perform these surgeries in the name of" helping people". They suffer after the surgery and, many of them regret doing it
The company I work for has a extended benefit to pay $15,000 for this surgery. Then my claim for Driver License medical vision exam was rejected.
So sad so many have never heard these details before.
