When I finally gave TR a chance and actually listened to him I was shocked! I couldn't believe how much the media and establishment had painted a completely different picture. I'm from an area in the North of the uk that is increasingly being used to house illigall immigration. With this, the area has already seen a rise in crime, including sexual assaults. I am a husband and father to two daughters. I'm worried. I'm also in the military, and I'm afraid that if I say my opinion in the "wrong" way, I'll lose my job. I don't know what to do? I work in a diverse job with incredible people who love this country, but I can't criticise the government's immigration policy or the people moving into my area with being labelled far right. I feel powerless and increasingly angry.
The first thing is to establish your point about the relationship between rise in immigration in your area and the rise of crime? This is a problem that has been created by policy that has led to the majority of immigrants not being able to work legally until their immigration cases have been settled so would that not result in an increase of the immigrants being more likely to resort to some kind of illegal way to earn their living and that would be the reason why the areas that have increased immigrants are more likely to have rises in crime? I’m a UK citizen but I moved to Germany post Brexit so I haven’t been back much. It took me a while to give Tommy a chance trying my best to be inclusive but it’s a real shame to see what is happening over there. I am a migrant myself having moved countries and it comes with a responsibility of trying to earn your place in your new society and seeing people do the complete opposite is scary and saddening. If there’s one silver lining in all this is that I hope that Brits realise this is not to do with the EU. Migration between the rest of Europe to the UK has now reversed - with more Brits leaving than other Europeans arriving. Most European countries are now stricter on migration than Britain is. To give a couple of examples: Sweden now has negative net migration, and Denmark famously deports refugees once the war in their home country ends. It’s also not a left/right issue, it’s just common sense. Having said that, Britain’s institutions are captured by a strange “progressive” ideology that has been imported from the USA and until people in positions of power come to their senses I don’t see Britain flourishing again. As a New Zealander, I used to wish the UK government allowed citizenship by descent for people who have over 90% British ancestry. I was born in Croydon, London. The location of the Home Office. Lunar house, Apollo house. As a Croatian woman who came to Germany at the age of 11 as a "refugee" from the Yugoslavian war and spent about a year in an asylum center, I have known since 1994 what type of man I should stay away from. When I was about 13, I listened to a woman at our school (in GERMANY) talking about the situation of women in Arab cultures, and I decided then and there that I would never set foot in these countries where I, as a woman, would be seen as a second-class citizen. So you can imagine that I absolutely do not understand how the West can allow men from patriarchal cultures, which are known to oppress women, to come to their countries in droves. It is unimaginably stupid and naive. God bless Douglas and Jordan, I love people with a clear mind.
From my experience, Arab women are treated like queens and princesses in their culture. The West portrays them as oppressed and being forced to cover whereas most of them choose to do so and feel empowered. Likewise, people in Arab culture perceive the west as too liberal and immodest where women use "independence" as the reason for living away from their parents prior to having their own family, dressing minimally, and being promiscuous. Simply depends which perspective you see it from.
I am going to use this forum to express something that it is bizzarre. I am a well educated non-caucasian upper class mexican business owner who is solvent and glad to pay taxes in my new country of Sweden. I learned Swedish very quickly, and I devoured Swedish literature. during my first 4 years here I did make friends, mind you all of the woke, but that was before the 2015 mass immigration from the middle east. after said immigration, i started to speak up about how important it is to maintain European values, and specially Swedish values. I started to speak about how important it is to actively take a stand to enforce that immigrants need to adapt to Swedish culture and values and align with the social contract that existed here, and which any intelligent immigrant would see as superior to many of those in 3rd world countries. Guess how many friends have now? about 3. I was cancelled for being an immigrant that happens to love Sweden and its history and culture. Is that not bizarre? many days i feel I am in a twilight zone episode

Back between 2005 and 2010 I worked for Lancashire County Council while still then living in my hometown of Burnley. I worked as part of the education board, so got to spend a lot of time around children of high school age. On one particular project we had a group of disadvantaged kids with learning difficulties, roughly 13-14 years of age... of course these kids are a lot more open and much less reserved than the regular kids. Some of the girls were telling us about their older 'boyfriends', of whom they had multiple. They all had Pakistani names, all drove nice cars (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.), and 'shared' these girls with their other friends. Naturally I was absolutely appalled by these revelations and went to both their teacher and my manager for a quiet word about this in private. I was told that we'd all lose our jobs and "all Hell would break loose" if I took the matters any further. I really regret not doing anything, especially considering I left that job and moved abroad the year after anyway. But then I also feel that if I'd have gone to the police or the local press then nothing would have been done regardless. It brings tears to my eyes typing this, as a father of two young children now myself I feel like I could have at least tried to do more in retrospect. I'll regret that decision to sit back and do nothing for the rest of my life.
Maybe the best action would have been to send the info to ALL of the NATIONAL press and TV news companies, all at exactly the same time (?) I dunno - just postulating. What do you think?

I'm from an area in the North of the uk that is increasingly being used to house illigall immigration. With this, the area has already seen a rise in crime, including sexual assaults. I am a husband and father to two daughters. I'm worried. I'm also in the military, and I'm afraid that if I say my opinion in the "wrong" way, I'll lose my job. I don't know what to do? I work in a diverse job with incredible people who love this country, but I can't criticise the government's immigration policy or the people moving into my area with being labelled far right. This is a problem that has been created by policy that has led to the majority of immigrants not being able to work legally until their immigration cases have been settled so would that not result in an increase of the immigrants being more likely to resort to some kind of illegal way to earn their living and that would be the reason why the areas that have increased immigrants are more likely to have rises in crime? I’m a UK citizen but I moved to Germany post Brexit so I haven’t been back much. It took me a while to give Tommy a chance trying my best to be inclusive but it’s a real shame to see what is happening over there. BUT, I agree with your sentiment. I'm VERY proud to be English. BUT if you study English history for the last few hundred years it's hard to separate Welsh, Irish and Scottish influence.
When we think of the Redcoats marching against Napoleon we often forget that nearly a third were Irish, a fifth to a quarter were Scottish, and there were plenty of Welsh too.
During times like this it's good to remember that being proud of our individual heritage is good but together we're better.

Most people in the country have never laid a brick, knocked in a nail or turned a spanner and that's the issue. This country was the birth place of the industrial revolution but all those skills are dead, since Thatcher sold all the industry off to make her mates richer, but a country cannot make money without industry and skilled people. Building flats in the centre of Manchester and selling them to foreigners is not the right way to go, it brings in money at first but will see it leave again once people are renting at a higher rate. WE NEED FIXERS AND MENDERS AND PEOPLE TO GET THEIR HANDS DIRTY AND DO A HONEST DAYS GRAFT.

Always saying that - without industry we have no jobs, without fuel we have no industry. Seems like the only secure jobs are in the public sector and the higher up you go there is a massive massive difference in salary - and I don’t believe those people have the skills or qualifications to do the job. Why are there no people will a level head on their shoulders? I could actually cry at the state of Britain and the path the current gvt are leading us down - and I mean down. It will not end well. Communism and the demise of free speech is not going to last - we are just a small island - it shouldn’t be that hard to manage. I truly hope we get a gvt in who will put in place the right to remove a gvt who does not stick to their election promises, and who tries to remove free speech. We need what America has - a first amendment as part of a constitution, and a second amendment so that free speech can never be removed.

I was born in Croydon, London. The location of the Home Office. Lunar house, Apollo house. It was notable how this facilitated the decline. 17 years ago it was getting bad, I can only imagine how bad it is now. I departed my home, and travelled around the world. As a Croatian woman who came to Germany at the age of 11 as a "refugee" from the Yugoslavian war and spent about a year in an asylum center, I have known since 1994 what type of man I should stay away from. When I was about 13, I listened to a woman at our school (in GERMANY) talking about the situation of women in Arab cultures, and I decided then and there that I would never set foot in these countries where I, as a woman, would be seen as a second-class citizen. So you can imagine that I absolutely do not understand how the West can allow men from patriarchal cultures, which are known to oppress women, to come to their countries in droves. It is unimaginably stupid and naive. God bless Douglas and Jordan, I love people with a clear mind.

From my experience, Arab women are treated like queens and princesses in their culture. The West portrays them as oppressed and being forced to cover whereas most of them choose to do so and feel empowered. Likewise, people in Arab culture perceive the west as too liberal and immodest where women use "independence" as the reason for living away from their parents prior to having their own family, dressing minimally, and being promiscuous. Simply depends which perspective you see it from.

I am going to use this forum to express something that it is bizzarre. I am a well educated non-caucasian upper class mexican business owner who is solvent and glad to pay taxes in my new country of Sweden. I learned Swedish very quickly, and I devoured Swedish literature. during my first 4 years here I did make friends, mind you all of the woke, but that was before the 2015 mass immigration from the middle east. after said immigration, i started to speak up about how important it is to maintain European values, and specially Swedish values. I started to speak about how important it is to actively take a stand to enforce that immigrants need to adapt to Swedish culture and values and align with the social contract that existed here, and which any intelligent immigrant would see as superior to many of those in 3rd world countries.
Guess how many friends have now? about 3.
I was cancelled for being an immigrant that happens to love Sweden and its history and culture.

Back between 2005 and 2010 I worked for Lancashire County Council while still then living in my hometown of Burnley. I worked as part of the education board, so got to spend a lot of time around children of high school age.
On one particular project we had a group of disadvantaged kids with learning difficulties, roughly 13-14 years of age... of course these kids are a lot more open and much less reserved than the regular kids. Some of the girls were telling us about their older 'boyfriends', of whom they had multiple. They all had Pakistani names, all drove nice cars (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.), and 'shared' these girls with their other friends. Naturally I was absolutely appalled by these revelations and went to both their teacher and my manager for a quiet word about this in private. I was told that we'd all lose our jobs and "all Hell would break loose" if I took the matters any further.
I really regret not doing anything, especially considering I left that job and moved abroad the year after anyway. But then I also feel that if I'd have gone to the police or the local press then nothing would have been done regardless. It brings tears to my eyes typing this, as a father of two young children now myself I feel like I could have at least tried to do more in retrospect. I'll regret that decision to sit back and do nothing for the rest of my life.
Maybe the best action would have been to send the info to ALL of the NATIONAL press and TV news companies, all at exactly the same time (?) I dunno - just postulating. What do you think?
