6 arc is a great round and a blast to shoot. Had my 6 arc for the first comp this year's then chose the 6GT for the second and 3rd. Little more velocity and don't have to push the cartridge as hard.
Yes spiked atlas feet do help I might switch to the claws though those spiked feet help the most where the top layer of dirt is soft and just below is hard lets you dig in and load your bipod properly but you could literally use those spike feet as a "bayonet" type I only use them target shooting they can be annoying for anything else you got to be mindful of them and I always have to detach them when not in use and have poked holes in my best backpacks
Nice channel and new sub! We love shooting at Rayner's and it appears you do as well! If you're from the West PA or East Ohio area, you should come out to MKM Precision in Kennerdell, PA. Your Seekins HIT 6GT is setup quite well for PRS competitions. Hope to see you there! We really like shooting at MKM.
I'm actually in eastern Indiana. Kennerdell PA is going to be a haul. I've looked into finding a prs style match nearby without luck. Even finding a range to shoot over 500 yds is Rayners or thunder valley. I'll look MKM up!
@@RobsReloading Wow, yep that will be a haul to get to Kennerdell. I've been to Thunder Valley as well and it's pretty sweet too. MKM has a pretty full PRS schedule this year and you can camp onsite so it attracts quite a few people from out of the area.
@@LifeLibertyandAdventures yes, I really have no experience with prs style shooting but it looks like fun. Eventually I'll make the haul to a prs style event. Thanks for the kind words and information
@@RobsReloading If you like shooting long range you’ll love the challenge that PRS provides. Steve began shooting long range at Rayners almost 10 years ago and just started shooting PRS in 2022 and is hooked! PRS is the next step after Rayners and TV type matches.
Seems like they always sneak up on you. Gonna do some work this winter and try to perfect the load and do some more testing. Problem is the next competition will likely sneak up on me as well and still feel crunched for time.
Good job Rob I'll have to blow out the Cobb webb on my 260 an 6.5x284 one day an go shoot again it's only a 20min. Drive for me. Check out Ramsey country he shoots there all the time he is one hell of a shooter.
Being there in person is the only way this could be better! Nice shooting!
Great shooting. 👍
I think you did quite quite well, overall. Congrats!
You won't be disappointed with a Leupold Mark 5HD I have 5-25×56 and like it a lot... Good shooting and great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Awesome man. Congrats on gettin out there and gettin after it. Definitely looks fun.
It's kind of a haul to get there from my location but worth it everytime I go. Rayner's is a great range with tons of steel.
Pretty cool stuff brother.👍👍
Great video, I can't wait to get the 6 ARC out to a long range competition next spring!

Yes for spike feet. No doubt about it. Good job!

Nothing wrong with that at all 👍🏻
Why are we always crunched for time developing our competition loads? I had the same thing happened to me this season.

Must be nice to have a 1k range that close! A lot of the guys who shoot these are very proficient at Long range!

Hey Rob. Just got a seekins 6 gt. Was wondering what mags you have found to feed the best in your seekins. Thanks Dan
My 6 Gt fed best with a standard mdt metal 308 mag
