I’m slightly confused by the McCain story- surely lovely ads that connect to British consumers through a strong insight that set them apart in a commoditized market. However, you are talking about their ability not grow profit whilst showing revenue, which I would interpret as sales value. Also, price has gone up most during cost-of-living crisis, probably due to McCain’s costs increasing, hence also not necessarily increasing profit. Sales value graph also follows price graph (with the exception of the COVID years where they benefitted from out of home closing), making underlying volume growth unclear. Did the campaign also allow them to gain share (or at least stop the decline)? Probably should pay the £25 to IPA to find out
Solid as ever. Thanks Mark🙏🏼
