Incase anyone is wondering the rumble motors are nothing like Simagic p1000 those use proper haptics and instead of feeling just virbation as you will on these and the fanatec pedals you feel a kick like the simucube pedals when you try the Simagic p1000 haptics. I had good quality transducers on my pedals for years and these simagic haptics are another level compared to anything ive tried. I have them set so once ABS kicks in i feel a kick on the pedal making it super intuitive. Dont be mistaken as many are that these conspit motors are the same as Simagic they nost certainly are not all these look like (on the conspit) are rumbles you get on the fanatec pedals or inside a console controller.
These pedals look decent at the price point Dave. I'm not a fan of rumble motors myself but can see they would be useful for some. There is so much gear available to us now that it is even more confusing than ever. I've only been racing since 2020 and amount gear that has been developed and brought to market in that time is absolutely crazy. 👍
They look and sound pretty good, software needs a bit of work looking at it. I wonder how these compare to P1000i's with Hydraulic and Haptic add ons, certainly a lot cheaper than the Sim Magic offering.
The best bang for buck pedals for me right now are the Sim Lab XP-1 and for a wheel I'd recommend the Asetek Forte. Links to both can be found in the description for more info 👍
Hey Dave nice video as usual, speaking of this pedal, I’ve bought it, it’s really pricy and I do like the smooth feeling of the brake, and actually it’s one of those few pedals that featured by Long Travel which I believe that Conspit is trying to replicate the real race car brake pedal, cuz as we all know that real GT or LMP has a relative long travel, and it’s really ez to adjust it on this pedal, just give me those couple of preset and stick with it, I like being simple! BTW I did gain like a whole second lap time in each tracks, I am already in love❤
the 'launch control' feature is a non-issue. anyone willing to spend some time faffing about with button mapping software already has it available to them... and anyone taking sim-racing _that_ seriously is definitely faffing about as we speak. this single button implementation is basically democratising the feature and making it more widely available. on top of that, you've shown the Mk 1 Left Foot can do just as good a job, once you've got some practice in.
Dave, where can I access this 'Start Analysis' overlay? I've not seen it before and I certainly would use it to practice race starts. Thanks in advance.
Any word on Conspit H2 Handbrake is this compatible with Fanatec & console? PS5and how to buy as I am in the UK? Are any other of there products console compatible for PS5. PS great video would love a shot of those bad boy pedals. 🏎️
Yeah, I’m surprised at how many ppl seem to be amazed by Simagic and other’s suddenly thinking of proper rumble pedals. Fanatec did it (poorly) with their v3’s years ago, and ppl like us modding pedals. I thought everyone knew about this
I've checked out their shop and it looks like they have great products. The problem is that there is still not a distributor in Europe and also their site could be much better, because is true their products dont look cheap but their website is a mess and personally i wouldn't buy from them. Could be because it's a new company etc. And i hope one day that they will make me think again. So right now my feedback for them is to fix their site and get a distributor asap, because the people who will buy the product will make reviews and give opinions
So is the software releasing the clutch at a certain rate after the initial release? If so, doesn’t this require the track state to be identical for the same performance? I’m no expert, but what I mean is, if there are any variables that require immediate adjustment on launch, wouldn’t this automatic method become obsolete?
Dave's in his kitchen, what's it going to cost? Nice boots, how are they? I see Asetek is giving them away now. I wish they were when I bought all my Asetek stuff. Did I understand that if you crank on that knob, that you can make it hard or soft?
Hi everyone, can anyone please help - how do i get the haptics & hydraulic brake to work? There's a power adaptor but its a chinese plugin, anyone know how or where to find a UK one? Many thanks :)
Nice review, Dave. Now, maybe everyone can calm down a bit about cheating and using telemetry to get a good launch. As I said in your other video comments, pretty sure that's not in the telemetry anyway. See ya in the next one! 👍
Im running the basic Fanatec CSL pedals with the load cell upgrade. Im wondering if im throwing good money after bad going or a decent upgrade. My improvement has stalled lately 1.5K IR @@davecamyt
While I see the argument that the launch control is still something the user has to tune and isn't a telemetry driven thing, to me it's still akin to the tools used for tool assisted speedruns. Especially when consistency is such a large part of simracing, I don't like that this is an advertised feature. I know cheaters are gonna cheat, and there's no way to ban someone who scripts that out, but at least leave some barrier to entry for that kind of thing.
Thanks for clarifying how the launch control works - at least it isn't working with the sim's telemetry for it's function. Nevertheless I still feel that it's sailing very close to the wind in terms of cheating since It does significantly de-skill the launch. Sure you need to set it up yourself, but once it's set for a car and track all you need to do is just dump the clutch for a near perfect start every time. Nope I'm still not in agreement with it to be honest. That said the pedals themselves do look very good for the price.
While its slower, you can already use the “auto clutch” in iRacing for spot on starts in things like pCup. Just wait for the lights, first gear and as soon as it goes green, you smash the gas and it’s absolutely fine
I have a disappointing reality for so many sim racers, TC in a real car doesn't vibrate anything. The pedal, the car, etc. What happens is that the car just doesn't accelerate, and you know the TC is working because you push the pedal and the car doesn't accelerate. Sorry to disappoint you all who us a rumble motor on the gas pedal. I think that's the most bizarre thing to do. That said, the sim magic haptic feedback on the brake pedal for ABS is actually pretty damn amazing. So get that and put it on these pedals.
Anyone got a TLDR for these pedals? At a point now having spent half a lifetime watching these videos don't have the patience anymore to listen to 90% waffle
Go and buy any set of pedals, see if you like them. If not, regret not doing your research 😁 But, to save you a little hassle, the Simlab XP1 pedals and the Singrade VX Pro pedals are better 👍

Hi great review, I am about to buy those pedals but the other cpp lite r&b model but still hesitate with p2000, anyone to help?
Great review Mr DC 👍🏾
I used to cap brake to 80% but dont anymore. I can feel roughly 80% on linear mode 😊
@dave any clue on how to make the rumble motors work in iracing?. The work fine in asseto corsa but not in iracing. Thanks
Dude what. Right up to the point where you mentioned the price, I thought a 2 Pedal set would easily run me 700 to 800 Euros
Hi Dave, nice one mate, thanks for the simracers review. I really don’t know how you can change pedals and be so consistent? yes I do it’s skill.
And a lot of practice 😁
They need to keep the purple going to the pedals

It's part of the CONSPIT pedal software. I'm not sure if it can be used without the pedals though so could be worth a try 👍
Great review! Little pricey, but good pedals.

Do iracing send traction control feedback? On the simagic pedals that is not available
Pretty sure they don't why?
I have aftermarket rumbles on my HSprints - nice feature but makes me slower

Luckily for Dave Julie probably never watches the videos so the wall can be our secret 🤣.
That's so true 🤣
how good are the "rumble motors" on the pedal? and comparision to the simmagic P1000?
They're pretty decent. I've not tried the Simagic pedals so couldn't say 👍

Left foot is alot slower at the final 10-15% . I think you can adjust that
ive considered looking at these, im wondering if its a viable upgrade path after getting a load cell. (currently on g920 pedals)
Hmmm, they are very very good but I guess it depends on what load cell you would be changing from.
Are they stiff?
Can I just turn off the launch control?

Yep, wind the knob in and it makes the pedal harder with less travel. Boots are good 👍
Thumbs up to you. Davey Boy , yes its me again lol
Hi everyone, can anyone please help - how do i get the haptics & hydraulic brake to work? There's a power adaptor but its a chinese plugin, anyone know how or where to find a UK one?

something like "traveling adapter" could work, just the basic will be OK. Did you get it in UK shop?
I got one mate, thanks. Still didnt work - recieved an email saying the plugs have had a product recall so ill have to try another plug! The joys! 😂
