    I got the 790s electronic cruise control to work on my 390 ADV. Can't imagine that to happen with an RE. Its a costly proposition however still an option. Lets the bike become future proof and not regret waiting for the next version.

    • @Thewandererwe
      @Thewandererwe  6 місяців тому

      Prospec has some cheap alternative for cruise control one consider that for RE bikes if at all rider thinks it's a practical upgrade

      @@Thewandererwe Nope. Those are not Cruise control. Those are throttle locks. The problem with CC feature is not many have experienced it either here or abroad. Only 1000cc+ bikes had it. So they consider cheap throttle locks as an alternative. Those are not linked to brakes and very dangerous in situations when a dog or a cow pops out of no where in high speeds. Electronic cruise controls are linked to brakes and work seamlessly with multiple sensors on board. Hopefully more people will realise this. Thanks to TVS for introducing it on 310s.

    Which do you think would be better the interceptor or himalayan 450 for weekend rides and commuting in mild traffic?

    • @Thewandererwe
      @Thewandererwe  6 місяців тому +1

      Would recommend go with Himalayan 450 due it's liquid cooled engine to beat the traffic heating issue in city and taller suspension to cater all roads and no roads requirements of the Indian roads condition!

    4:57 KTM India just raised their existing 390 duke with diff headlight, they realized this mistake that's why they have reworked the chassis for new upcoming 390 ADV, it getting more bold any rally look that fake ADV

      Totally agree...💯 Hopefully the price it well as per Indian market anything beyond 4.5lac would not be a great deal for single cylinder

    I am 182 cm tall, i travel a lot in Bangalore (approximately 60-80 km in a day) and weekly once i trip travel 300-400 km, i have classic 350 which is giving a lot of shoulder pain, so thinking of opting touring adv for both kind of commute purpose, i am confused between these two,
    Can you suggest an apt bike for me to chose?

    • @Thewandererwe
      @Thewandererwe  6 місяців тому

      As per your height and requirements both bikes solves your purpose... Himalayan will have some waiting period..you would need handle bar risers in both the bike to make it comfortable as per your shoulder height to keep it in relaxed position, take a test ride of both bikes and decide brother

      @@Thewandererwe Are you talking about 450 only? The new Himalayan has a slip and assist clutch, you can see it in your manual page 15. Although you don't really need to see the manual... any body who has ridden the bike can downshift and tell.

      @@Thewandererwe yes ths vibrations are felt on my adv 390 but its all in the lower speeds once the engine revs past 6000 rpm it gets smoother.
      This could probably be because of the fuelx n powertronics which i added on my bike
