- Hi Folks,
Himalayan is arguable of the best adventure touring single cylinder motorcycle and with time we all would want to kit it up with necessary accessories to make it even more capable.
While I have got 10 accessories installed on this Himalayan, In this video I talk about how you can phase out the purchase of these accessories in order of priority.

4K for the headlight grill and 4K for the windshield ?? Too overpriced. Also the mirrors cost a lot. Aftermarket ones would come at half the price . Apart from the panniers, the accessories are not worth the price they are offering. Aftermarket would catch up in no time and at less than half the price.
Panniers at 32000 are a bargain 🤡😳
This is ridiculous pricing. Definitely is a daylight robbing from RE. I got steel engine guard + aluminum radiator gaurd + 2 steel oil reservoir protectors + MS material tough crash guard from Moto torque the next day of delivery... it came to just 11.5K including installation. The quality is excellent.
Next time i go to Moto torque, i have headlight grill, pillion flat footrest, top plate extra in the list.
Thank you Moto Torque. Loved your service
7K for a set of mirror? 😢 is it a convertible dressing table? So funny.
However, thanks for sharing the price list before hand bro.
Installed:
MadDog Alphas - ~17k
SP Connect Phone Mount ~ 12k
BarkBusters + Storm ~ 14k
RAM Mirrors ~15k, For Seal Covers ~2k
Original RE Rally Kit + Radiator Guard + HandleBar Pads ~ 12k
Waiting to Arrive:
Saddle Stay + WindShield + Adventure Seats + Tubeless Tyres + BackRest/Top Rack + Box. [ If anyone knows availability of these please do share ]
Also go with OEM accesories as they're pretty light weight and fit well. The aftermarket ones will unncessary add weight and will defeat the purpose of Himalayan as a flickable ADV.
Mad dog alphas cost 9500/- isn’t it?
@@vipulchauhan5234 yes but the harness, switch, filters, mount etc. they cost money too :)
@@vipulchauhan5234switch mount n all costs separate 😂
@@vipulchauhan5234 yes, thats only light. harness pro and switch pro including costs around 14.5k anywhere in india. fitting charges around 300/- . so all total roughtly around 15k inr
What if someone preboooked the bike with these accessories installed itself from RE hopefully one must be saving a huge amount
I hate carrying too much luggage. My luggage now is around 12 kgs which I feel is already too much and out of which around 4 kgs are tubes and tools to change the tubes.
When I get the Himmy, I'll buy it with the tubeless spokes. In terms of accessories, maybe the taller windshield (hopefully someone manufactures taller/wider adjustable windscreen) and hopefully the rally seat.
I wish in the future RE offers adjustable Suspension and shocks. Tubeless spoke wheels and adjustable Suspension would be amazing.
I don't think you require pannier rail for the tail bag from Vaiterra or Rynox since the exhaust is lower the bags won't touch it..I think you can do without it because the bag sits on the pillion seat quite sturdly , only in case of saddle bag and pannier you will need it.
No engine guards? Also, how did you manage to get the crossed spoke rims?
Hard luggage is fine if you are keen on it, but it might be better to get third party ones like Givi or SW Motech - easier to swap with other bikes in the garage or with any future purchase.
Hai Bro, How did you got the cross forks for your himalayan 450?
Panniers n hard saddles preferred only for riders who frequently tour for long days....if not preferable soft one which is an ease ....but ...bags are prone to theft while moving around....however anyone who can carry such huge weight n live with it above the 196kerb can opt fr such modes
How abt rally protection kit? Thoughts on that ?
Two important parts u have forgotten
1. Crashguards for the Handlebar and Motor. Saves Money
2. An Automatic chain oiler. Costs not much, but ur chain and sprokets love it. So it saves Money on the long run as well.
Bro do u hv these rims are tubeless ?did u buy it or what's the update about it for people?
What about the front side bags for the 452 himalayan?
would definitely go for 3rd party manufacturers/brands for the wind shield, panniers, guards and other stuff as RE's is very expensive
I have pain on the right shoulders with himalayan 450 when I checked in service center they said that cone set and handle bar is fine can the handle riser help me
Where did u get the cross spoke wheels from??
Hi sir by the way even I do own a Himalayan unfortunately the top box which you got here in Telangana I’m not able to fine it so could please share me the info from where can I exactly get it from ?
It would much helpful if you do respond for this.
Thank you.
7:45 ...and meanwhile you have these dogs here ... that was spontaneous and funny. 😅
On a serious note, the radiator grill, headlight grill and tail rack, though a bit expensive it would be a worthwhile purchase. Anything else can be optional if not an overkill IMO. Good video. Cheers!
I agree..
Do you prefer Panniers or Saddle Bags ? I happen to have Viaterra Condor 2Up as Saddle bags, also a spare couple from Triton X3 from (Gods). I am wondering how much difference panniers would make wrt handling. Are they lighter or heavier ? The problem I have seen with saddle bags is that in bad weather they require lots of overhead. I got drenched in Spiti with rain and dust, and it was a nightmare to clean them.
I also agree.. saddle bags become a mess especially when muck and dust dries .. The straps become stiff. But then they are lighter and less expensive. Hence i prefer them. Also, the leg doesnt get crushed under saddle bags on a fall, while with panniers it hurts bad.
Tailbags for ADVs anyday, if you don’t have a pillion. Then saddle bags.
Sir apke accident ke baad hand ki strength kitne month baad aayi thi??
can you do a video on things to do in break in period of himalayan 450.
How did you manage to get cross spokes rims
Very good information👍👍👍
How did u get the cross spoke rims ?
how did u got crossspoke ??
Jas Bhaiya,,,keep it up,,,,,love ur videos,,,,few people will try to pull you down in some manner,,,,but keep pushing ,,,,,u r awesome,,,someday we will meet for sure,,,and please share the details of that bag pack,,,,looks very comfortable with that kind of support
Thank you so much 😀
Crash guards are a must. Phase 1/2/3 or otherwise.
I agree . It comes with stock guards that you see on the bike.
Love the free flow talk videos of you and Abhinav. Need some advice from you guys regarding my Street Twin. How do I get in touch.
Dm in insta . Twenty3rides
I heard that the front crash bars also serve as luggage bag mounts - and bags in this position might help balancing the bike, so it will not become overly rear-heavy on long trips. Did you hear anything about these bags as well, and what do you think of them?
I have no idea on when those bags will come out.. But yes they are being made definitely by some third party manufacturers.
The top box is from RE? No badging on that
Just a quick question..Is the pannier mounting rails same as the old 411 design or it's a new design ?
Not sure on that.. High chances they are different as the complete chassis on 450 is nee and so will be the mounting points .. But i will need to check
How you got cross spoke wheel
Bhai apko kaha se mila tubeless rim
@twenty3rides sir aapne jo riding jacket pehan rakhi hai wo kaunsi brand ki hai?
RE khardungla jacket.. Best for winters
@@Twenty3Rides thank you sir for the response. I bought a kamet white himalayan 450 and this jacket seems to complimenting it. Also i wanted to ask in your opinion which mesh jacket is best for extreme summers?
U didn't mention engine side guard the most imp to get ok 1 st day and even master cylinder guard
if we book kamet white in the month of March during the delivery let's say may will be getting with tube or tubeless tyres?? ...
Tube only
Got a good idea about accessories thank you
Glad it was helpful! 🫣. Hope you subscribed
@@Twenty3Rides ya i regularly watch your videos and even I booked Himalayan 450 on 30th November 2023 just waiting for my bike and may be getting it on first week of February
Brother, can you tell me when will re provide cross spoke wheel for Himalayan 452 .
No timeline from
rE yet
About the touring mirror. Is it not tiny ? The field of visibility seems small. Wider mirrors would have been better.
You have to see them in person.. No issue with field of view… Infact even more angles to adjust and set according to your requirements with the additional pivot point with a bolt one can adjust. Although, i feel they are a tad too expensive at 7k for the pair
Can you help me to get cross spokes wheel!?
Hi Sir, kindly let us know whether the rims from 450 fit 411. We are eagerly waiting to convert our tube tyres in 411 to tubeless of 450. Kindly help us know. Thank you in advance
Yes we can
@@Twenty3Rides Thank you for your reply sir. It’s a relief and joy that it fits, now ww 411 riders need not worry about flat tyres:)
has RE already provide you REH452 free of cost with crossed spoke wheels and other accessories?
Its with me for some time . Thats it. Not my machine.
Does the touring seats increase the seat height? I like to stick on 825mm height and don't need more height
Will have to check.. But its more cushion.. that gets sinked in a liitle ..
is this a media bike? when will the tubeless spoke available for Indian market?
Yes
The Dogs were curious indeed !
😀😀😀
Hey,
Any news on 805 mm seat as accessory?, Or still in production?
Pls do let us know.
Thanks
No official news on that yet..
7000 for mirrors? Looks like they purposely made low quality RVMs so that people are forced into buying these overpriced mirrors. We’ll find better quality mirrors at less than half the price outside. Also the aluminium mirrors on the Dominar cost 1950/- and they are the ones being used on the new duke 390. RE is really taking the buyers for a ride
No crash guard?
Does new himalayan has vibrations in footpegs, handle bars and seat between 90 to 120 kmph range i.e 5000 to 6000 rpm range?
1 Zyl. Engine! So what do u think?
bhai tubeless spoke wheels kaise mile utna btaoo
How did you get the cross spoke wheels on the Himalayan?
Ans plz...
Can we just change touring seats for the rider only, as I mostly ride solo
Yes you can .. Its sold separately.
What happens to the seats and visor that came with the bike by default ? Do company take it back ?
Nope.. No refund on that..
What about engine guard?? I'm taking delivery next week and the showroom has included engine guard in the quotation..
Get that.. In this video i only talk about the stuff i have
From where did you get the cross spoke wheel ? Is it aftermarket ?
Its from RE.. Not aftermarket
@@Twenty3RidesHow did you get those? Those are still not available anywhere. And also it's not mentioned in RE website as an accessory.
my question is how did u get the cross spoke wheel variant…while no one in india have exclusive access to it ?
It's a test vehicle given to him long term (as far as I know).
No engine guard?
So these panniers are being delivered scratched and dented?
These are demo pieces..
Can the pillion rider sit comfortably after the panniers are installed ???
Yes very easily
Can pillion passenger sit comfortably with panniers installed ?
Absolutely.. very comfortably
Brother ham to tubeless rim ka wait kar rahe hain
Awesome !! Lets get out there and deliver some pizzas 😂
What is ur height?
@Twenty3Rides
Just a small query on the touring seats, this is something i came across..hopin atleast you will be able to answer me??
The touring seat costs around, 8400/+ on the website..
But when you go on the website and get into MIY section where you can select the bike and do the add on accessories by yourself , so when you add the touring seat there is a price reduction of close to 3000/- .. and when i asked the RE showroom guys those guys and clueless and not just this, any query raised to the RE guys, they have no answers at all.. feels like these showroom guys dont do a proper study on their own products !! 🤦
That is so weird.. seems like a glitch
@@Twenty3RidesCould you help with this? This might save so much money for so many who are making their new bookings?
PS: doesn't seem like a glitch, RE being a huge company..
I feel influential ppl like you guys could help ppl like us..
Thanks in advance.
Ur height?
Isse Kam toh zana ka mil jayega..or quality vi bohot bariya hai..aur aap toh ambani familiar lag rahe ho..bro
Ambani familiar 😀😀
The price are too high or I have to wait for few months and the price might be down its not worth to pay such amount on the accessories
Bhai how about the knuckle guards
I would suggest going for Barkbusters.. as a great one time investment.
Mere pas kaza brown hai maine bhi leni hai plz.reply asap
Should be available readily in 1 month
I am buying Himalayan soon. If I may ask, what is your height?

@@Twenty3Rides 👍
what about the crash guards bro
Website says around 7k
Is it okay to put aftermarket accessories immediately after the delivery of the bike without tampering the warranty ? Anyone have idea please comment, Thanks.
Should not be an issue
Top box mounting bracket will cost around 900-1000 from Mumbai kurla market 😂
One of the panniers is already scratched and what not.
Horrible logistics management
Strange that there's no mention of any crash guard which I feel is way more important than anything else
I agree an additional crash guard to protect engine is also required. Here i just spoke about accessories i have .
@@Twenty3Rides what recommendation do you have that has all India shipping?
Mein socha koi angrez ka blog hai. Aap toh Hindi bol Gaye,😂😀
This is loot from RE to charge almost 10x for its accessories. 4k for windshield and 7k for mirrors🤣🤣 ...

This bike is 4L on road and does not have tubeless tires ???
Imagine you are ona highway and cruise-ing around 90km/hr and tire bursts...
God help you all...
I have mentioned the same in my videos. It gives me a chill down my spine! 😮 I am even thinking of cancelling my booking!
Boss aapko kaha se mili ye accessories koi contact number denge plz.
RE sent us these accessories.
Royal Enfield ka homework le aaya bhai 😅
I'm quite surprised that RE didn't add an auxiliary lighting package to the accessories list. I'm pretty sure that would be a best-seller amongst all the Himmy's accessories.
Its there.. not yet available though. See the accessories section on their website
Going by the accessories prices, auxiliary lights might cost 50k 😂
Mirrorsz costs 7000/- made of gold?
Why people forget value of money..

Moto tarque is better
15:41 seems like u didn’t have that privilege…i can see you
Yeah, she prefers the isuzu. 😀
Unnecessary for 95% of riders. More of a wannabe kinda stuff for aesthetics, not very useful.
80 hajaar ke joote lelo ya 80 hajaar ki accessories, marzi aapki hai!
tu hi rakle bhai yeh sab. tujhe sachme kisi ne banaya hai😂
that windshield is a joke and you will cry in cold weather in long rides.
