You could say that he's one of the most powerful characters in the whole series, but not because of money or superpowers or even his intellect. His power the whole time was love. I know that sounds hokey, but really. We know that Professor Venomous, despite being a supervillain, isn't 100% evil. He has a sort-of genuine side to him that shows through when he's not extra-focused on being evil. And he was obviously really special to POINT considering everybody kinda fell apart without him. This doesn't really surprise me if he was similar in personality back then. And it's no different now with his "evil" family. Everybody loves him. We the fans love him. I think he really underestimates how much people always cared about him.

You're not far off about how villains are redeemed in OK KO. We have seen the villains be on friendly terms with the heroes. Even Boxman seemed to have mellowed out by the end.
then again I'd say that Venomous not reaching the same epiphany and growth as his son shows how they mirror each other. Whereas KO makes an understanding with TKO and becomes whole, Venomous is never able to make peace with himself, leading to Shadowy Figure being forcibly removed from him and destroyed, as he just isn't capable of reaching that same level of growth and maturity still, good to know he and Boxman get back together.
It also adds up too sense Shadowy Figure was Venomous's attempt to get his powers back, he isn't natural like T.K.O. he's actually an experiment he ingested to regain his powers early on in his career (When he first turned his skin purple), though I wouldn't be surprised if Lazerblast had a turbo form originally similar to K.O. or if he split after he became Venomous since his powers seem very similar to K.O.'s (But more noticeable in T.K.O.'s) powers.

I would have loved to have seen KO and PV's relationship expanded on after the events of the show. Like, did PV try to be a good dad again? Or was the relationship too toxic that KO just decided to cut him off from his life? Or it's back to what it used to be before the reveal?
i'd like to think that in between one of those crazy whacky epilogue episodes, venomous at least apologized to ko for using him and admits that while he will still be evil, he is still proud of ko and reminds him of what he was
If the show kept going we probably would've gotten to see how Venomous being Laserblast would have affected all the point members aside from Foxtail showing brief realization & Carol only showing her emotions about it once all the other members were never shown reacting to it and the ones we did get were glossed over.
They had so much potential and areas to explore with Venomous' arc! Part of me is really disappointed, but I am glad they gave us the snippets of his future that they did so that we can connect the dots ourselves in whatever way is satisfying to us. I think he did get redeemed- just behind the scenes in scenarios we have to imagine for ourselves

I can't really fault the folks behind OK KO on him. They clearly had lots more in store and wanted to flesh other things out but the folks runnin' CN had to axe 'em 'cause they couldn't bear having another good show take attention away from their cash cow, TTG (which may as well be the rotting corpse of a horse at this point). With that being said, this is my take: 1) YES. I feel as though Professor Venomous could've and should've been redeemed, didn't matter whether he deflected back to being Lazerbeam or if he still decided to be Professor Venomous afterwards. I think it would've been great to see him in a similar situation as KO was in with TKO and genuinely have to fight past Shadowy Figure in order to make sure Fink and KO were okay alongside overcoming his own demons. To have that black ooze or whatever come out from him was kinda vague and didn't really feel that satisfying as a way to get rid of SF 2) Unpopular opinion, but honestly?.....I ....really don't care for Boxman. Like, I think it's great he learned to appreciate his kids better and stopped abusing them, but as far as him and Venomous go? I never saw the appeal of them as a couple. If anything, I saw it as Venomous using him to attain more clout, power, etc. and they were better off as business associates or colleagues. If I'm going further than that, at best, I could see Boxman being infatuated with Venomous, but the attraction would ultimately be unrequited, a lovefool in more ways than one. 3) Personally, it....actually would've been really nice to see a genuine one-on-one with Venomous and Carol outside of the Big Reveal OR with him and the other members of POINT. SO MANY things could've been cleared up with a discussion; What they thought of him as a hero/person, strats he could've used to help himself cope with his self-doubt and insecurities, and as mentioned in the video, he also would've came to the same conclusion of not needing powers to be powerful. To add along with that, I actually wanted Venomous to reconcile with Carol. Could've led to them patching things up and maybe being a family again with KO and Fink. Could've just been cleared enough where her AND Venomous were an active presence in KO's life. I understand why folks would skeptical about that, but he genuinely tries to make an effort to connect and bond with KO despite differences in hobbies AND during the Big Reveal, he was hurt about not being able to have the chance to be a father to KO. While KO has Gar now in that sense, Gar's....eh, he's OKAY to me. More likeable than Boxman but not that standout-ish IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'm not excusing any of Professor Venomous' actions nor am I saying he was right by any means 'cause he didn't have to go down the route that he did, but I could understand SOME of his motives. Either way, things could've been different to say the least.
I thought it would’ve been cool for venomous to more half hero half villain so be redeemed like you said being more of a father to Ko leaving Ko with 2 dads and a new sister and box man joining the family too now knowing how to treat family and maybe helping venomous learn what he’s forgotten or probably feels uncomfortable doing like talking to his son (So pretty much they all become one big happy family with venomous and box man doing evil things here and there too cause they’re also villains which would make Ko’s family tree interesting now containing not just hero’s but villains with venomous and box man being family now)
Like you said, him switching sides wouldn't happen; regardless if it be by choice or wanting to put the past behind him. However I feel that him being redeemed in a similar manner like Ko and tko was, could not only benefit that of his relationships with his underlings like boxman and his robot children, but it may lead him to more "human" to that of point, Carol, and that of his son ko and his minion fink. He may be willing to do more with them beyond the whole good vs evil thing. Just speculation on my part and a few too many fanfics I've been reading. Bottom line is that if he were redeemed in such a way, he could end up being a somewhat decent person and father figure to ko and fink, as well as make peace with that of his former colleagues, all the while staying true to his villainous nature.
Besides venomous not getting redeemed the only other complain I have is how ko and TKO got along in less than 5 seconds right after TKO basically killed everyone ko knows and loves . Oh and about Elody.....I guess they just forgot about her....
Gotta remember everyone, the ending was rushed and messy because cartoonetwork HAD TO FRICKIN CANCEL IT! Episodes take lots of time, and i mean LOTS, from episode writeing to animating, they couldn’t possibly have enough time to acctully make another season with OK KO. The show was acctully visably aware of the huge deadline because boxman stated that they would’ve exstended it for another season while Prof. Venomous shutted him up. I REALLY wish they haddent canceled it, we could of gotten all of those episodes that where seen on the last last episode. Boxman finding peace with his life and peiceing back together his relationship with his children, Venomous finnially meeting with terms with him, KO becoming a level 100 hero. There was SO much potential in all of these episodes, and im very sad it had to go.
I’m not sure Shadowy was Venomous’ turbo form. TKO was just KO’s bottled up (negative) emotions, while Shadowy gets literally beat out of Venomous. Shadowy was a result of Venomous’ experiments. I think Shadowy Venomous is more his Turbo form but idk. Turbo can also be triggered by glorbs, too, so idk. It’s confusing
Honestly, with Venomous, I think it would be a bit different.It's not just about power, but also about self-actualization.Making an impact. Not just crushing the heroes, but feeding his inferiority complex of being able to beat them even without his need for powers, all for the desperate sake of validation. Both he and KO share the same flaw of doubt, uncertainty and insecurity. Despite their own talents and capabilities, they don't see it as enough for the expectations they set for themselves and so think they need to be better. Additionally, the fact that KO has a "Shadowy" form means that such a figure was always within Venomous. And both would become at some point overwhelmed by their negative aspects and failed to treat them as such. When TKO overwhelmed KO and when Shadowy Figure overtook Venomous. It was them coming to face their Jungian shadows. They were possessed by their Shadows. But only KO was able to not only liberate himself from possession, but achieved assimilation, the merging of the ego and the shadow. It's a continuous process after all and KO found his way of coping thanks to what he learned from his loved ones. What was mssing was for Venomous to deal with it. Because of the unnatural means he manifested his Shadow, it was more self-aware and seperate. Individuation like with TKO, but to a worse and more dangerous degree. Venomous would need to confront and accept his weaknesses: his lust for power, his insecurity and so on. As all of these what caused all the pain: to his 4 comrades, to his 3 different groups of children (KO, Fink, the Boxmore kids), his 2 lovers and to himself. And it would be alot harder because it'd mean owning up to all of his misery and pain being self-inflicted, that he had everything and pretty much gave it up multiple times.

One thing that I've been thinking about is that Fink would be (in some way) K.O's sister. The relationship between Fink and Venomous, despite never using the terms, is a father-daughter relationship. Since K.O is Venomous actual son, wouldn't that make Fink be at least his adopted or half-sister, since Fink was (assumedly) created by Venomous?
You know Professor Venomous kinda reminds me of Terra from Kingdom Hearts, both felt weak and both went on a darker path to become stronger. Plus they have similar hair styles and a darker alter ego (via Terranort and shadowy figure).

In a way you could say yes, but in another vain the true K.O. has finally shown himself. In many of the scenes you can see how both K.O. and T.K.O. flashback to various memories the other had, I imagine this is just K.O. but instead of switching personas when he's extremely angry is essentially just going to be himself but angry. I guess the best way to describe it is in Dendy's Video Channel when K.O. was hurt emotionally by Dendy he became T.K.O. and lashed out at her and when he calmed down he went back to his base form, essentially he'll have all the powers of his base form and he's still the same person but he isn't suppressing those traits anymore so if someone pissed him off, he isn't going to hesitate to beat their ass. I imagine he'll be kinda like how he was on K.O.'s health week or "K.O. vs Fink" but since he isn't suppressing and alienating his negative traits anymore when he gets to that point K.O. just won't hold back, he'll go full T.K.O. traits and really show his underlying anger issues. It'd probably give K.O. interesting interactions with his teammates too like I imagine he might be mixed about being called cute since it's a compliment that also feels condescending at times, or he might tease Dendy like T.K.O. previously did calling her a "science baby" (though in a less vindictive tone). Basically K.O. truly being himself not just K.O. suppressing his negative (physical or mental based on his appearance) traits. I also suspect he might be a little smarter since Venomous is incredibly smart and T.K.O has proven to be very intelligent too like in T.K.O.'s house (which adds up since T.K.O. is a side of himself that really shows more of his father's heritage). Edit: I just wanted to go into more detail but I imagine when frustrated he's probably crazy powerful because he still has the power to be cunning like T.K.O., but he also has the self control of K.O., so he could still control his rage and he could focus it while he fights rather than just going apeshit, I imagine he's probably terrifying to fight against frustrated since he's still as angry and vindictive as T.K.O. in those moments but he has the control and discipline to basically employ the martial arts skills his base form does. Essentially while now in his non angry state we see elements of T.K.O. in K.O., I imagine when he's angry we'll see more of his T.K.O. aspects with aspects of K.O., I imagine fight scenes would be even crazier with him being able to basically box his opponents with his skills. I could see K.O. using fighting as an outlet for his aggression essentially if the show went on and that would've been an interesting arc in my opinion.
I feel like he was kinda redeemed when shadowy was fuckin BONKED out of him by TKO. And he and POINT were on the track to reconcile at some point. But the show just never got there cause of getting cancelled so early. I hope there were more father son weekends With venomous and KO though. I feel like PV could be a good father if he tried.

I didnt want him redeemed. Im a mom of 2 kids who have a crappy dad. I wanted the show to say hey sometimes kids have crappy dads but its ok. I wanted venomous to be the big bad and i wanted gar and carol to kick his ass and have ko accept that he didnt have to have a dad to be loved and accept that he didnt need his dad....But i love the ending and i love the show.

I think he is always turbo now personally since that was his natural power he supressed, I assume he's a mix between K.O. and T.K.O. now, so he isn't not K.O. but he's not going to hold back on his negative thoughts anymore, that analysis, rage, and such are all still there just more stable.

Recently watched all the lines of professor venomous it is so clear at the end that boxman's just like honey chill.

i really wished venomous makes it up to ko as his dad. (But instead, i got the out of my life ending)

Gotta remember everyone, the ending was rushed and messy because cartoonetwork HAD TO FRICKIN CANCEL IT! Episodes take lots of time, and i mean LOTS, from episode writeing to animating, they couldn’t possibly have enough time to acctully make another season with OK KO. The show was acctully visably aware of the huge deadline because boxman stated that they would’ve exstended it for another season while Prof. Venomous shutted him up. I REALLY wish they haddent canceled it, we could of gotten all of those episodes that where seen on the last last episode. Boxman finding peace with his life and peiceing back together his relationship with his children, Venomous finnially meeting with terms with him, KO becoming a level 100 hero. There was SO much potential in all of these episodes, and im very sad it had to go.
I love venomous, he's the reason I started watching OK:KO in the first place

I’m not sure Shadowy was Venomous’ turbo form. TKO was just KO’s bottled up (negative) emotions, while Shadowy gets literally beat out of Venomous. Shadowy was a result of Venomous’ experiments. I think Shadowy Venomous is more his Turbo form but idk. Turbo can also be triggered by glorbs, too, so idk. It’s confusing
He just has the time of his life when he’s being evil and I love it

Honestly, with Venomous, I think it would be a bit different.It's not just about power, but also about self-actualization.Making an impact. Not just crushing the heroes, but feeding his inferiority complex of being able to beat them even without his need for powers, all for the desperate sake of validation.
Both he and KO share the same flaw of doubt, uncertainty and insecurity. Despite their own talents and capabilities, they don't see it as enough for the expectations they set for themselves and so think they need to be better. Additionally, the fact that KO has a "Shadowy" form means that such a figure was always within Venomous. And both would become at some point overwhelmed by their negative aspects and failed to treat them as such. When TKO overwhelmed KO and when Shadowy Figure overtook Venomous. It was them coming to face their Jungian shadows.
They were possessed by their Shadows. But only KO was able to not only liberate himself from possession, but achieved assimilation, the merging of the ego and the shadow. It's a continuous process after all and KO found his way of coping thanks to what he learned from his loved ones.
What was mssing was for Venomous to deal with it. Because of the unnatural means he manifested his Shadow, it was more self-aware and seperate. Individuation like with TKO, but to a worse and more dangerous degree. Venomous would need to confront and accept his weaknesses: his lust for power, his insecurity and so on. As all of these what caused all the pain: to his 4 comrades, to his 3 different groups of children (KO, Fink, the Boxmore kids), his 2 lovers and to himself. And it would be alot harder because it'd mean owning up to all of his misery and pain being self-inflicted, that he had everything and pretty much gave it up multiple times.
I love the man and even if he is redeemed *We're Not having that divorced broken folks* I'm happy they're both happy
It would be nice to get some more information on what happened during the epilogue and whether or not POINT and Venomous ever reconciled.

If the OK KO crew was given just a little more time, maybe they could've tied more loose ends.

He could’ve been redeemed but to see his interaction with point again and his relationship with ko would’ve been much better closure. Him apologizing to only boxman is weird to me idk. Carol, Ko, and every member of point deserved an apologize better yet…just a conversation.

One thing that I've been thinking about is that Fink would be (in some way) K.O's sister. The relationship between Fink and Venomous, despite never using the terms, is a father-daughter relationship. Since K.O is Venomous actual son, wouldn't that make Fink be at least his adopted or half-sister, since Fink was (assumedly) created by Venomous?
You know Professor Venomous kinda reminds me of Terra from Kingdom Hearts, both felt weak and both went on a darker path to become stronger. Plus they have similar hair styles and a darker alter ego (via Terranort and shadowy figure).

Yes, even though we make mistakes, it's ok to do that, but always remember this: A problem is like a boomerang and when you throw it, it will come back to you and if you get upset at something or someone, you can always talk about what made you upset to that person or thing you can seem to let it go for a long time and crying is good for you because it makes bad feelings you have inside you go away.
When tko and ko become one dose that mean that ko and tko died because since they became one they don,t exist any more and instead a fusion takes there place a completely new person also dose the fusion between tko and ko have pko,s powers
In a way you could say yes, but in another vain the true K.O. has finally shown himself. In many of the scenes you can see how both K.O. and T.K.O. flashback to various memories the other had, I imagine this is just K.O. but instead of switching personas when he's extremely angry is essentially just going to be himself but angry. I guess the best way to describe it is in Dendy's Video Channel when K.O. was hurt emotionally by Dendy he became T.K.O. and lashed out at her and when he calmed down he went back to his base form, essentially he'll have all the powers of his base form and he's still the same person but he isn't suppressing those traits anymore so if someone pissed him off, he isn't going to hesitate to beat their ass.
I imagine he'll be kinda like how he was on K.O.'s health week or "K.O. vs Fink" but since he isn't suppressing and alienating his negative traits anymore when he gets to that point K.O. just won't hold back, he'll go full T.K.O. traits and really show his underlying anger issues. It'd probably give K.O. interesting interactions with his teammates too like I imagine he might be mixed about being called cute since it's a compliment that also feels condescending at times, or he might tease Dendy like T.K.O. previously did calling her a "science baby" (though in a less vindictive tone). Basically K.O. truly being himself not just K.O. suppressing his negative (physical or mental based on his appearance) traits.
I also suspect he might be a little smarter since Venomous is incredibly smart and T.K.O has proven to be very intelligent too like in T.K.O.'s house (which adds up since T.K.O. is a side of himself that really shows more of his father's heritage).
Edit: I just wanted to go into more detail but I imagine when frustrated he's probably crazy powerful because he still has the power to be cunning like T.K.O., but he also has the self control of K.O., so he could still control his rage and he could focus it while he fights rather than just going apeshit, I imagine he's probably terrifying to fight against frustrated since he's still as angry and vindictive as T.K.O. in those moments but he has the control and discipline to basically employ the martial arts skills his base form does. Essentially while now in his non angry state we see elements of T.K.O. in K.O., I imagine when he's angry we'll see more of his T.K.O. aspects with aspects of K.O., I imagine fight scenes would be even crazier with him being able to basically box his opponents with his skills. I could see K.O. using fighting as an outlet for his aggression essentially if the show went on and that would've been an interesting arc in my opinion.

I feel like he was kinda redeemed when shadowy was fuckin BONKED out of him by TKO. And he and POINT were on the track to reconcile at some point. But the show just never got there cause of getting cancelled so early. I hope there were more father son weekends With venomous and KO though. I feel like PV could be a good father if he tried.

I don’t think Venomous wants to be redeemed, he’s having too much fun being evil and I wonder if he ever showed up for KO’s birthday(I didn’t see him in any of those scenes) I just noticed that( he might’ve but He must’ve came late or something)

I didnt want him redeemed. Im a mom of 2 kids who have a crappy dad. I wanted the show to say hey sometimes kids have crappy dads but its ok. I wanted venomous to be the big bad and i wanted gar and carol to kick his ass and have ko accept that he didnt have to have a dad to be loved and accept that he didnt need his dad....But i love the ending and i love the show.
Ko joined all those shows that had come before him, as well as Steven soon will. But don't be sad bc it's over, instead smile bc it happened. And who knows maybe one day we will see them all again.😏😏😏😏😏😏
Too much question are left. why boxman have a chicken arm and how ko can become turbo without glorb (cant be laserblast because he do experiance on him after he disapear ) or everybody can become turbo form.
Boxmans chicken arm is just part of his design to make him interesting
I think he is always turbo now personally since that was his natural power he supressed, I assume he's a mix between K.O. and T.K.O. now, so he isn't not K.O. but he's not going to hold back on his negative thoughts anymore, that analysis, rage, and such are all still there just more stable.

Imma be honest having a shit dad...i cried when K.O went with him...i thought this show was gonna make him smother K.O and accept him...im glad it wasnt like that, im glad Mr.MotherFuckingGar was a good stepdad like mine...he maybe your father but he aint your daddy man...and some of us grew up/are growing up with that
