- Relax as I check the contents of a box I've had stored away.
Please help make my channel the best it can be and become a patron of my work at / relaxingasmr
Have you ever packed things away, thinking you will deal with them later? Well, later has arrived and it's time to revisit the many boxes I have stored away over the years. I'll be making a determination off camera as to the fate of each item I unbox. This is the fourth video in a series that will last as long as I have boxes, or as long as you the viewers, show an interest.
As you will see, the contents of this box was mostly PC Video Games. I'd love to hear what two items from the box you'd keep if you had to get rid of the rest, so please post your choices in the comments section.

A little about what it is I’m doing in my videos:
Why am I whispering or talking in a soft tone? Because this video is a ASMR relaxation video. What is ASMR? You can see for yourself by visiting the link at the very bottom of this page.
The videos on my You Tube channel portray some of the typical day-to-day things that I do for relaxation, and in some cases, the things I do because I have to. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Stress is harmful to your well-being and in today's fast-passed world, stress relief is more important than ever, and so I hope this video in some way acts as a stress-reliever for those watching, as well as a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time going to sleep.

What a long way have we gone from manual books the size of novels accompanying a game you fully owned after buying to mobile games trying to grab your money through in-app-purchases and actually being neverending in an unsatisfying way. This gorgious video transports the deep satisfaction of the "slowliness" of joy that even racing games inherited at that time.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I read every single one of them but sorry to say that I wasn't able to respond to them personally, you see, I have been busy learning how to use some new equipment that will hopefully make the audio a bit better in my videos. I hope to upload what amounted to be a "test" video, later today.
It would be awesome to redo a video of this talking about your favorite games and what you remember from them and even playing some of them. This was so nostalgic
I hope that you never run out of these boxes! Fantastic video again! :) Thank you!
Man, The Sims. Always reminds me of a game I played back in the 80s for the Commodore 64 called Little Computer People. It was a fave.
Some of those missing disks might be in the zip up case you found in the previous storage box video.
Chase Turner You were correct. In the case was all the Commandos disk, all the Battlefield 1942 disk, more Half Life disk, both Sims2 disk, Toca Race Driver 2 disk. All seems to be accounted for now. Thanks.
Half-Life GOTY!!!!! You are the man, sir! :D
I don't think that's actually possible xD johnnynachos18
I would like to see you playing Age of Empire 2!! That will be really relaxing! ;))
agreed
yes!
I would keep the Red Baron game. 1099 free hours of AOL is priceless now.
literally xD
Thanks for sharing! I love seeing a lot of these early 2000s PC games again.
This lasted me three nights. Very enjoyable as always thank you!
Can't wait for the next box. These vids make me want to re watch Se7en again.
The original Lego Island was so hard. I won the end battle by cornering the Brickster in the pizzeria. :p
Love these storage box videos. Another great and relaxing one with some interesting games!
Keep them coming sir! Love the videos.
Whoa...my ad was some sort of Windows mobile promo, and began immediately with loudly pulsating techno music.
I think I had a minor heart attack. Gotta remember to turn my sound down when going to a new video!
The best way to fall asleep ever
I wish I organized all of my things as well as you do, great video as always!
I was so excited to see this in my subscriptions feed! Hope you survived the storm...:-)

im facinated by the stuff presented on that wall, would you make a video on a tour of whats on that shelf
Lots of cool, old-school video games! :3
No Orange Box? That’s a shame... I figured you’d like Portal...
Love me some storage box!
I have that Nascar Heat game too. Very fun! I love designing my own car on there. I find the more i watch your videos that we have a lot of the same stuff. Haha (:
YOU ARE SOOOO COOL! I love your videos!
So relaxing
kinda cool, been watching you since you released you airplane catalog video, I have also watched your videos in 13 different countries. That is called youtuber loyalty haha!
Oh Sims 2.. My favourite!
I would love to see you set up a vintage machine as well as play some of these games.
Rooney343434 It has crossed my mind:)
I wish you’d share your experiences with the games eg did you play them, did you like them.. and def do a video about getting an old pc running with the games. Cheers thanks!
Some sort of goblin at your place, gobblin' up all the discs.
Edit: The bit about manuals. ;) The only thing that held my manuals back in the day was the box the game came in. They were, for the most part, redundant.
Oh Papyrus MASCAR games, how so many still cherish your games and wonder what could have been...
Gus The Ant I remember what I guess was version 1 of NASCAR. It had to run in DOS mode. Detail wasn't that great but it played smoothly.
Very cool.
You seem to have a lot of old stuff that is laying around, but organized. It seems that a lot of it is old gaming-related things and various electronics and such. I have seen some of your videos where you sort out what you want to keep and what you want to throw away. Have you ever considered selling it on somewhere online, like Ebay? You could probably make a decent amount of money from some of the older/vintage stuff.
I really like to watch this video :)
Do you by any chance have battle toads?
Nascar racing 2003 season is the best nascar simulator ever.
Sims!
Topeka!! That’s where I’m from
I love sims!! :)
Is this Keith from "Kingdom"!????
Sim City Classic - 4 were all so great, but then Societies happened ;(. Haven't tried them since.
You should do a give away for things you don't want to keep anymore
*opens video* ERROR:Video is missing
I miss the cardboard boxes.
Back when PC games came in boxes and games had manuals, before everything went green crazy.
YOU NEVER SAID HELLO UA-cam!?
I believe he usually begins, "Hey, UA-cam."
But yes, I noticed it, too!
THEY MADE A LEGO ISLAND 2?!
And a 3rd game to
Are these your PC Games or your son's? I am guessing they belonged to your son. What do you guys think? If you watch a lot of this man's videos, you might realise he is quite educated, intelligent, cultured, interested in many things/hobbies, you might estimate his age about 60... I personally don't think he was into computer games around the early 2000s. Then again, like many Southerners (I think he's from Atlanta) he likes NASCAR, so they might have been his own games.
He’s from Canada, the commandos 3 games had an eB games sticker, which is Canadian only
Ooh baby under 30 club! Ahaha
I come here for 29:55
Back when EB games still existed.
It still does exist...
Adam Lemon Not in the US as far as I know. EB Games in the US was merged with Gamestop.
I have one near my grandparents house.
the last of a dying breed
Ebgames still exists in Australia and New Zealand (maybe Canada, i don't believe so though) but it changed in the U.S. To GameStop some time ago.
The sims games have way too many expansions lol, always over priced too.
