Letting Go of Books

- Relax as I show you some books that I pulled from my small library. The books have served their purpose and now it’s time to let them go so that perhaps they can be enjoyed by someone else. I’ll be distributing the books to interested family members as well as a non-profit used bookstore. I hope you find this video to be relaxing and hopefully a sleep-aid. I apologize how the video ended. My iPhone ran out of storage space as I was reading the title of the very last book lol.

A little about what it is I’m doing in my videos:
If you are wondering why am I whispering or talking in a soft tone, it’s because; this video is an ASMR relaxation video. What is ASMR? You can see for yourself by visiting the link at the very bottom of this page and reading about ASMR for yourself.
The videos on my You Tube channel portray some of the typical day-to-day things that I do for relaxation, as well my never ending chores. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Stress is harmful to your well-being and in today's fast-passed world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video in some way acts as a stress-reliever for those watching, as well as a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time going to sleep.

10 years ago I was in an abusive relationship. I told my wife I was going out for a Slurpee and never came back. I left with only the shirt on my back and my final paycheck from Green Valley Ranch. I have recently discovered your wonderful channel. This particular video is very comforting for me. Your book collection reminds me of my dad. He was an artist who loved baseball. Books are my favorite way to escape.

My sci-fi library took up three walls of my home office. It was painful to thin them down, but I had to do it. Now, my Audible library would probably fill four walls. 😊

Jimmy Dixon Indeed, he is a character. Check out this Barkley quote on his 17-year old daughter not dating yet: "Thank goodness. I just hope she doesn't start before I go in the Hall of Fame. That way, I won't have to kill anybody before I get inducted."

I know this is from nearly two years ago, but wow, if you still haven't read "The Lord of the Rings" or "Harry Potter," you totally should. They are amazing.

Official NutationMLG Hmmm. I guess I should clarify that statement. I only meant that I've reached an age where it is a good idea to let go of some things in my life. My wife and I have read most of those books and there isn't a "good" reason to keep them around. It's time to let someone else enjoy/use them. Giving up possessions can be a hard thing to do and fortunately for me, these books didn't prove to be too difficult, but, as I work through other items, I imagine it will become harder. When one of my hobbies was racing radio controlled cars, I had a sticker on my pitbox that read "He who dies with the most toys...wins!" Though funny, I feel quite the opposite. I sense from your question that you may have been wondering about my health..if so, thank you. All is well.
