I appreciate all the great comments on this video. Seems like the PS2 played a great part (no pun intended) in so many lives. Glad to help you relive it in a small way. Thanks everyone:)
I still have my ps2. It’s got a bunch of problems, but to sum it up, it runs like an engine with bad compression and a few missing spark plugs. But I can still use it for several hours after I finally get it to boot up. So many memories
I have not played too much with them, I did receive a great amount of pleasure watching them get opened up at Christmas time and birthdays, or the excited rides to and from the stores where they were bought. If I end up hooking it up I'll be getting my share of playing time at the expense of letting my Super Nintendo sit neglected:)
I always love how you pack everything away with such care and take care of even simple things in life to make them last way longer than the average person.
There are two types of people. All this guys stuff is mint and super clean. If I found any of my ps2 game cases they'd be cracked and covered in dust and cheeto dust. I admire you, sir.
Kyle Fowx I still have my old ps2 with a bunch of games like jak and daxter and ratchet and clank or sly cooper and the thevius raccoons sitting in my closet
RelaxingASMR I have an original, 2 number 2's and 2 number 3's, as well I have an Original Xbox, one Gameboy Color, a Black Gameboy, two Big original Gameboys, a Wii and a Gameboy Advance Jep. We really were into it.
Man, the Jampack with Ratchet & Clank. I played the demo so many times; even played it in the morning before school on the day that my mom picked the full game up from the store for me. The other games on the disc were solid too, in retrospect. I don't think I ever ended up buying any of them, though.
I just wanna say thank you for the way you do your videos. I know this is intentional asmr, but I cannot tell what things you do are intentional or unintentional. Thanks for making things look normal.
Hello Mr relaxing Asmr ... I just wanna say your storage box series have torn a hole in my universe.... in a delightful way of course ! Please don't ever stop. You are the best out there
NBA Street Vol 2 was my favorite game growing up. It allowed you to play as current NBA stars, past NBA legends, and fictional street ball characters all on the same team. I would look at the insane ball handling tricks in the game and try and do them on my driveway and wouldn't stop until I could do them. I owe my love for tricks and admiration for historical NBA stars all to this great game. Oh, and good video by the way.
Amazing video! I was kind of bummed out when you came to one of my favorite childhood games and there wasn't a disk (NASCAR dirt to Daytona) haha. But keep it up,I love your videos
Well this was perfect, I just put my spanish textbook on the nightstand, getting ready to sleep and this video couldn't be posted in a better time, thank you!
Three year old comment, probably don't care what you typed anymore, but did those Pizza Hut demo discs come with any Net-Yaroze games like Gravitation?
20:05 lol x) *takes slowbreath of air to speak * But says "AE sports " madden lol! U funny thx for this vid sir . Played that with My cousin when i was lik 9:)
Hands down my two favorite would have to be Kingdom Hearts and Need for Speed Underground 2. Put in numerous hours in Kingdom Hearts, and I still do, plus I loved playing NFS: Underground with my friends! Great video!
I bought the new Wolfenstein on PS4 and it is one of the best storylines in a game. Also, NBA Street was my favorite basketball game of all time, so fun.
I actually didn't expect you to play games! Are these yours or do they belong to your son/children? I don't play sports games at all, so I was a little disappointed about the choice of games, but then you pulled out Kingdom Hearts! Fantastic game! And, of course, an awesome video again! Keep up the great work! :) PS: The grey controller belongs to the original PlayStation.
Its been a few days since I now hooked up my slim PS2 to hdmi adapter to my 4K tv. Its been 7yrs and Im having a blast. If you every wanna sell any or that Need for Speed game Im in lol. Awesome vid like always man!!
I've always been curious. do you own any motorcycles? or have an interest in them? that would be a fantastic show and tell or teaching video if you did!
Lol xD ..Just finished watching the madden 06 part at 20:06 and i resumed it where i paused it to type a comment, and turns out thers no disc xD lol! Nice :,)
My dad and I loved Dirt to Daytona, he'd even go as far to set up a TV table and box himself in with random stuff to cram himself like he was driving a real dirt car with our PS2 driving wheel.
I still believe that PS1 and 2 discs are indestructible. I still have my clunky ps2 console. I put serious hours into TH Underground, as well as most of the series.
Know what I would like to see in your vids? English class. You know....teach how to pronounce some difficult words like Throttle, words with TH, H, TT. I'm Brazilian, I can understand everything in English, and write, but I have issues with some words. I don't know...just a suggestion for another video. And you could drink Whisky while talking. Would be awesome. A Soft Spoken, drinking and Informative ASMR video made by you....YOOOOU! The master of ASMR and cool vintage stuff.
The game on the very top is Gran Turismo 3? I just loved you even more than I previously did. And so many other good racing games...I didn't see MLB The Show? come on, haha. I still pop in some of those games sicne my PS3 is the 60GB model. PS2 still works fine, too. Those were made to last forever...I ABUSED that thing.
My father recently found a PS2 that had been thrown away at his work (he works at kind of a recycle station). He gave me the Playstation, so I bought some games and a memory card to test the console. Luckily it worked! :D There's nothing like experiencing childhood memories over again. :)
Very nice collection of games ... I still have my tray-loading PS2 as well, have you had to open the case and clean the lens yet? I had to do that so certain games would work, otherwise it would fail to read them. Still works great now. Thanks for the video!
You can buy component cable adapters for the PS 2 and turn it into a progressive scan DVD player. Just fine for a cheap bedroom set. Just watch out for the input lag.
As an avid collector of video games (especially vintage games), I have a recommendation: If you decide to sell the system, please price out the games individually. Most of those games are probably in the $2-$5 range, but a game like Kingdom Hearts, even a "Greatest Hits" edition (more common), is probably worth as much as $15.

Man, for all of that, if you trade that in to GameStop you can get about $2.
More like you have to pay them to trade it in.
Perhaps they will give you tree fiddy?
More like 2 cents
Yes
I have a game store called archive games that so go to It is amazing always sell your old consoles there you get a good amount of money
I have not played too much with them, I did receive a great amount of pleasure watching them get opened up at Christmas time and birthdays, or the excited rides to and from the stores where they were bought. Great writer. RIP Tom.
There are two types of people. All this guys stuff is mint and super clean. If I found any of my ps2 game cases they'd be cracked and covered in dust and cheeto dust. I admire you, sir.
tim it's a girl
Well she's a guy so..
Tim bet he never used these games. Anything used and abused get broken no matter what.
Alan Brody Nope. Dunno how you handle your stuff, but i still got PS1 games laying around that got used many times. Still in mint condition.
Hearing the disc wobble around the case is such a nostalgic sound to me for whatever reason
I know what you mean. It gives me the feels of the good old days.
wow ratchet and clank 1, sly cooper 1. brings back so many memories...so many good memories that I miss. i used to play those for hours.
Yea man nowadays games are full of frustration and violence. Sly used to be an amazing game and probably still is.
Kyle Fowx I still have my old ps2 with a bunch of games like jak and daxter and ratchet and clank or sly cooper and the thevius raccoons sitting in my closet
Drooling over this collection. Very relaxing, thank you!
Need For Speed Underground was my childhood

The level of self control you demonstrated in not popping that bubble wrap as soon as you saw it is astonishing.
Amazing video! I was kind of bummed out when you came to one of my favorite childhood games and there wasn't a disk (NASCAR dirt to Daytona) haha. But keep it up,I love your videos

Nostalgia
Ah, it doesn’t get more nostalgic than this. Crash Bandicoot, Abe’s Odyssey, Sonic CD, Spider Man. I miss those days…….
Ratchet and Clank was legendary. good times
To this day this is one of my favorites. I watch it often
I miss demos, being able to try out a game to see if you like it before you buy it.
My dad used to buy me these Pizza Hut demo disks for playstation 1. I always loved them and sometimes visit them for nostalgia..
Three year old comment, probably don't care what you typed anymore, but did those Pizza Hut demo discs come with any Net-Yaroze games like Gravitation?
planetx15 no, there was 3 discs, you can search it up, they each had 5 games on one
"DunkinDeeznuttz" lol
20:05 lol x) *takes slowbreath of air to speak * But says "AE sports " madden lol! U funny thx for this vid sir . Played that with My cousin when i was lik 9:)
Brint Last great game!
Watching reminds me of my old PS2 Collecting. Most of it is still on Storage somewhere. I might go out someday & find more older PS2 games to add on.
I did not buy it but the buzz has been favorable. Sounds like it is by far the best yet.
Goldeneye was a top game to be fair, reckons thats my favourite
i should revive my old n64 and make a soft spoken video of unboxing, hooking up, and playing pilotwings64
Hands down my two favorite would have to be Kingdom Hearts and Need for Speed Underground 2. Put in numerous hours in Kingdom Hearts, and I still do, plus I loved playing NFS: Underground with my friends! Great video!
I have two art videos planned for the future; it's just a matter of finding time to make them. Thanks for your patience:)
youre the last person I would expect to have a box of video games
I bought the new Wolfenstein on PS4 and it is one of the best storylines in a game. Also, NBA Street was my favorite basketball game of all time, so fun.

Need for speed isnt a sports game lmaooo
Oh my lord. Need for speed underground 1 and 2! two best games there by far. wish i still had them
These are my favorite. Your storage box series are the best ASMR on the 'tube.
My three first games were FIFA 07, Colin McRae Rally 2004 still PS1 and SingStar (don't know which one to be honest)
Your videos always make me so nostalgic
Oh man I used to love those jampack demos! It was the best when one came with an edition of psm
Jam packs! I loved those things!
I wonder how it would look on a large hi-def TV? That's what I'm sort of thinking I'll do.
Ratchet and clank, NFS, gran torismo you have seriously good taste in games thanks for the nostalgia
Kingdom Hearts! I love that game
Honestly Ratchet and Clank, as well as the Jak series. Are some of the best games I have ever played :D

One of my favorite when PS2 was at its heights, was call of duty final fronts and GTA SA with MLB 04.
I have not played them enough to know but will find out if I end up hooking this thing up.
I like the new series that this video goes with but more when you actually have things to show not a whole bunch of games. Still nice work.
I'll have to check that. Thanks
