its not just this. you have to do receiving and cycle count and other warehouse duties that could pile up. its not just grabbing video games and boxing them up
I packed for many years. You don't want to use so much dunnage that the packages become "pregnant". Makes them harder to stack which means more likely to fall over or fall off a stack of packages during shipping. Also, if a heavy package is placed on top of your pregnant package it puts the load on the contents which can crush the product you're trying to ship.
I work in a shipping warehouse too so I see a lot of "pregnant" boxes and watching him stuff the paper in last is so unnecessary. I get it for protection but you have bubble wrap. Bubble wrap works just as good 😂

Just got recommended this like five minutes ago, and I'm impressed. Started gaming in 98 at 8 years old. I never sold my games and/or put them away somewhere i can never get to them. They're still in my room of my house. Married with kids old enough below ten. My wife is the same. Started a year after me and never stopped. She kept hers too and when we saw each other's collection a decade ago, we told ourselves we need to put them all into one separate room where we can play. Fast forward three years ago we got a house that can provide just that. Everytime i see game trailers and gameplay stuff, old and new mind you, i always pause and go to the comments first. And i wonder, "did you sell away your old games and made way for the new?" or something that goes along those lines. If you still have them, why bother making a comment precisely implying such a thing. If you say money is tight and have different priorities then i can somewhat understand (i say somewhat because that's a very broad spectrum if you think about it). Or you really did want to let them go to make way for the new shiny thing. You can learn to manage your time like i did. Everyone is diffferent but i got a routine and I've stuck to it since getting my job as a factory worker a decade and a half ago. And even more tighter as a parent and husband. It's not that hard to do. Takes several minutes to longer than to accomplish, depending on your current lifestyle. Just two days ago I played War of the Monsters, it's a 3D fighting game about monsters and robots and stuff and your arena is literally a sandbox playground where anything is interactable and can be thrown to your enemy for damage. It's awesome. Only played for an hour but i got my time in so I'm not really complaining about it. Two weeks before that i was playing God of War. No not Dad of Boi, God of War. The fact this video is only 3 months old as I watch this, I admit I still play PS2 regularly, you buy the games and thats it, you own them for life, no online purchases, no online features, no end of service crap by developers and no issues like what has happened with The Crew.
As a PC gamer i have to admit I hate the lack of physical media. Physical copies just have something about them that makes them way more exciting to buy. Also you have something to show out of your game collection instead of just a list.
@fern8655 I would assume like many warehouse distribution centers. You are able to print out the lists of items that are going out to the buyer. In the warehouse I worked at we had an invoice that would have the tracking numbers for each items, zones for certain items (A-Z), section by row with numbers 1-10, 11-20, 21-30(sometimes the sections starting from top-across would be listed as 1A..2A..3A..4A..and so on) then the 2nd row to the bottom would be 1B..2B..3B and so on. Then as you get use to the locations. You could literally take a look of the invoice and memorize the location, by zone, number, row and pick the items up in fast paced manner. I was such a fast Picker and Packer! 😆
i loved doing this when i was selling some of my games on ebay ( i know i know) I loved feeling like my own little video game store sharing my personal treasures and someone else will enjoy it.
I have to say, StarOcean for Michael (sorry if misspelled name.) was a fantastic choice of a game. I remember playing it when I was younger and enjoyed the game. Michael, if you ever see this video, (maybe you already have and I'm a month+ late on this,) enjoy that old school game.

The way he’s pulling out the paper is wild
Why do I get the sense he's making up the orders as he goes?
The fact this video is only 3 months old as I watch this, I admit I still play PS2 regularly, you buy the games and thats it, you own them for life, no online purchases, no online features, no end of service crap by developers and no issues like what has happened with The Crew.
As a PC gamer i have to admit I hate the lack of physical media. Physical copies just have something about them that makes them way more exciting to buy. Also you have something to show out of your game collection instead of just a list.
Ah ps2 glad people are still playing it in 2024 got a massive collection there watching this wants me to order play Star Ocean playing that on ps5.
This is so strangely satisfying.
Damn it’s crazy when you see titles of games and remember the time in life when you were playing it
Dimitri’s Mom gonna get a shock when her credit card bill arrives.
When I saw Chase's order, i instantly knew he is a old gamer, because of just three games...
How do you remember all the titles in one order in your head at once!
The noise of the game boxes is very comfortable to hear, especially when they hit each other.
chase is a man of culture
Please more of these man. Super nostalgic and sleep inducing. Great asmr!
It's so relaxing to watch... plus the nostalgia 😄
Nothing but pure ASMR.
love that metroid prime hunters poster. i remember playing TF out of that when it was new
3:56 the amount of peak bro bought is unreal
The "thump" sound takes me back!
Love this. The amount I would pay to play TimeSplitters: Future Perfect again on the PS2 is ridiculous. Glad you give people like me their youth back.
Future Perfect goes for around $30 and you can buy second hand ps2's for around $100 - $150. Not an insane amount at all.
Please bring me back in time to re-live these moments :(
why am I so addicted to this, Its 3am and I need to keep watching. Yes, thats right, stack those games baby.
i loved doing this when i was selling some of my games on ebay ( i know i know) I loved feeling like my own little video game store sharing my personal treasures and someone else will enjoy it.
Dimitri has a literal treasure box heading his way.
solo imagino la felicidad de quien la compro al abrirlo y me pongo re contento hermano, me brillan los ojos y todo... que lindo
As someone who works dispatching orders, I really appreciate the effort put into making sure the items are not bumping around the box! 👏
You don't need all that paper that is shoved in last. Making your packages "pregnant" isn't better when shipping
Cheap tape and overstuffed packages? Hard no, but go off I guess😂
9:44 007 nightfire brings back alot of memories, me and my brother would play the pvp on there for hours good times.
That first package had some bangers in there. Star Ocean TTEOT as a gift was the 🍒 on top 🔥
I have to say, StarOcean for Michael (sorry if misspelled name.) was a fantastic choice of a game. I remember playing it when I was younger and enjoyed the game. Michael, if you ever see this video, (maybe you already have and I'm a month+ late on this,) enjoy that old school game.
