I'm loving the heck out of this longplay, Oblivion was a big game from my childhood. A bit of a side-note, but if you like killing and stealing, you should check out the Dishonored series if you haven't already. It's kind of like a modern Thief game except you're an assassin so there's nothing stopping you from killing people.
"oh no, he is immortal, aaahh!" This playthrough is a gem to watch as Jake discovers Bethesda yank. Here's for many, many more, parts and silly encounters. 4:54:37
the woman you killed in a room with another person in the first part was an undercover cultist that would attack you later in the main quest. there's no bounty for killing those.
I think the hate towards the oblivion level scaling has more to do with the fact that the whole game levels with you, so you can complete every single quest at level 1. There is no reason what so ever to level up in this game, just go and do the main quest immediatly, no problem. The first time I played I became the arena champion as the first thing I did. It just does not feel right
Ok Jake. You did it. You made me install this game. I WILL play it once more... Weirdly your gameplay makes this game look fun. Maybe i will like it too if i stop trying to think too much.
Quick guide for the stupid: if something is free: it is usless. If something is plentiful: its usless. If something looks mundane; it is mundane. If an item is worth less than, say, 50 units of money dont take it. I don't think I have ever seen someone, or even imagined someone, playing this game so badly.
I do hate to be predictable.

They say diversity is our strength but ever since redguards moved into my neighbourhood I just haven’t felt safe

That was hilarious, attempted serial killer becomes local hero
you don't have to read to be a devourerer of books. you just really have to like the taste of leather, glue, and paper

This is hilarious. Prime Thief guild material by being thrown in jail, twice, in the span an of a few in game hours.
lockpicking: bump the pin a couple times to get the rythm.
Nvm you go it.
Oh wow, all these years I thought lock picking was just a cruel joke in this game…at last I see

>Tried to level up efficiently
>Counted my skill ups
>Miscounted by 1 or 2 and got +4 instead of +5 on my major atributes
Its over bros
@@TheGlenofKrokot RIP
The thought of counting level ups turns me off the game every time, yet I feel bad if I don’t min/max
You're not wearing gloves. What is your live chat doing?!
this guy really doesn't like morrowind. how do I know? he'll tell you.
your moving so fast because of you fps and monitor refresh rate
