I just got the 940 speed yesterday , and it can’t even stream Hulu without going all blurry. Did your service get better after a couple Of days? I’m already worried I made a mistake switching from Comcast.
The best way to see if it's something on their end, vs your end, is to DRIECTLY CONNET an ethernet wire to the box that is like a "leech" on the wall. I show the connector on the video. Do this from a laptop or desktop. Once connected, open your browser to speedtest.net and do a speed test. If you are receiving 940 or around that, it's on you end. Meaning your routers, or Wi-Fi setup inside the home. If your speed is nothing near 940 when you are directly connected to the device on the wall, it's on their end. Hope this helps. What you want to do is connect an ethernet cable DIRECTLY from your laptop or desktop to the gateway quantum installed at your home, on the wall. I showed this connection on the video, so check it out if you missed it. Then go to speedtest.net and test the speed. If you are getting 940 or close to 1 Gig speed, you are all set, and it's not on their end. If nit, it's your router, or inside wi-fi issue. Personally, it makes ZERO sense to "rent" their pods at $15 a month plus the crazy taxes. So $18 a month x 12 months is $216 EVERY SINGLE YEAR! Makes absolutely ZERO SENSE! I did a video on the Google ones that have Wi-Fi 6, and they are absolutely awesome! ------->ua-cam.com/video/UFuTZ-XBxuw/v-deo.html Here is the link with the discount too!----> amzn.to/41uZFIF

Hey man, appreciate the information. I'm looking to switch to QF and want to make the installation as seamless as possible. I'm confused with the outside installation part, you mentioned "make sure you have an outside wall with a nearby outlet". I would like the outside installation where the ONT is to be directly in my room which is on the right front side of the house (regular square house) but the only outside outlet we have outside is left backside which happens to be in small storage area. What's the best way to go about this should I install a long extension cord which leads into to the side where I want the ONT to be installed? I'm I good along as I have an inside outlet where I want the ONT to be located? Any information greatly be appreciated! Thank you! Also I'm 100% positive they run the fiber through the poles in my neighborhood.
