Women's pockets are 47% smaller than men's. I've written to lots of manufacturer's and wish more women would do the same. If they don't/can't hold a cell phone then I won't buy them.
We hear you From She to Me! Pockets sure are few and far between when it comes to women's clothing, and the PH Team get way too excited when we find pockets that are actually practical. We recommend checking out the Chrome Industries Seneca Short packhacker.com/travel-gear/chrome/seneca-short/ - there are some super handy pockets going on there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 🙌😊 - Rebecca
So true! I also won't buy anything with missing or sub-optimal pockets. I occasionally blog about items I find that are both practical and somewhat stylish, but it can be a big ask (and shouldn't be!).
We get what you're saying benalene - while this bra isn't going to be as good as a sports bra, it proved more supportive than we thought. Of course, everyone is different (but I'm a D cup too). Hope this helps! - Rebecca
@@PackHacker you are right, everyone is different! Sorry if my comment came across as rude. I'm shaped a bit differently and need a lot of support (my sports bras look like breastplate armor!)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us nuvoclassic - finding a bra to suit every frame and shape is certainly not an easy task! We recommend using this list as a framework that you can adapt to you and your use case. 😊😊 - Rebecca
Some of the tips are helpful but icebreaker is SO expensive. It would help to do a list for those of us who can't afford $100 t-shirts. Also, the colors are so drab. I don't know any woman who wears all black all the time, especially when traveling. It's fine in the winter, maybe. But in the summer or in really hot places, black and dark colors are the last thing you want to be wearing. I'd love to see more varieties in brands (AND colors) and less expensive options.
Great ideas! As a sunscreen freak, SPF 20 is not sufficient. I would highly recommend a water-resistant SPF 50 (vs. 30 - because we never put enough on), It should be applied every 2 hours. A lot of folks use different body and face sunscreens, so make sure you have both. These sunscreens can be hard to remove from your face, an oil cleanser followed by a gentle cleanser works well (which you can also use on your body. Dr. Bonners isn't a brand I would use on the face). I would also carry a mineral lip SPF (Vanicream SPF 30 is a good one) and a night lip SPF - like Cerave ointment or Vaniply - which can also be used on flaky skin). I would also recommend a crushable broad brim hat (e.g. Coolibar, Tilley). Rather than the Dr. Bonners, I would recommend a versatile, non-fragrance wash that can be used on the face, body and even hair (Vanicream Body Wash or Gentle Cleanser, Eucerin Baby, QV (I have to use a separate shampoo for color-treated hair). A good extra to add to one's toolkit: a few Aveeno Baby Eczema Colloidal Oatmeal packets. Slim. Mixed with water, they calm down irritated skin, can be used as a mask or wash. Colloidal oatmeal is considered an FDA drug. Who knew? Being that Shea butter is hard to spread (I hope it's not the one with fragrance and essential oils. I would go for products that are less likely to cause irritation, and fragrance and essential oils can do that. So straight shea butter. Sun Potion makes a good one). I would bring a versatile moisturizer that can be used on body and face (Cerave Lotion or Cream are good choices. For something even heartier, Aveeno Eczema Balm. No, you don't have to have eczema)....Because I can't wear wool, my go to's are Patagonia base layers in various weights. I also love their Houdini, a jacket that weighs as much as a feather. I dig Lululemon's On the Fly stretch pant (that has pockets) and can be worn business or not) and Back in Action top which is lightweight and looks good day or night. I'm for Birkenstock's Arizona/Boston/London. They're especially good for people who need metatarsal/arch support or have feet problems. They also have Vegan versions. Some like Finn's. Flat shoes can take a toll. (I hope you were wearing cushy sneakers on the plane! Gotta have those). Birkenstock's light as a feather water sandal (I can't wear them all day. Some love them) is a nice option too. I like to have a cotton bandana. I bring a next to nothing rain poncho that's longer than my Patagonia rain jacket. A pack of Patagonia peel and stick gear patches for small repairs are great. A thin, foldable pair of ankle water boots (some go over your shoes), are good to have. Water bottle: I've tested so many to make sure their leakproof (very few are): Kleen Kanteen Classic with the loop top (for water and coffee) is great (and Kleen Kanteen is a B Company) as is the Takeya Originals Insulated water bottle (uninsulated bottles are lighter). I always use bottles with smaller openings as I don't like hot or cold splashing all over me. A collapsible water bottle is great to have. One of my packing cubes always converts into a backpack, shoulder bag or sling (Tom Bihn). Patagonia's fold into nothing mini hip bag is a great addition...Unrelated: I would love a review of travel/EDC bags for women with your frame (mine too. I'm sure many others). So many bags that are reviewed are wicked big/too long. My challenge is EDC. It's been hard to find ones that suit. Many thanks for all the good suggestions. Apologies if these recs are on the big list. Now I want to go away. P.S. I am curious about what bag sunscreens go in. I don't think it's wise to remove them from their containers (I could be wrong). Sunscreens are considered a drug, according to the FDA.
I’m borderline outraged that they would even include pants with no pockets. 😂 Come on! Zero chance I’m ever buying those. I’d just get angry every time I wore them in my trip. I’d love to see a video a travel pants for women. The choices seem to be really meager.
Hey Sereita, we totally get where you're coming from. The pants in this packing list won us over despite the lack of pockets because they are super lightweight, comfortable, and quick-drying. However, we completely get that pockets make travel and just daily life so much easier. So, if you're looking for a smart pair of pants that work great for travel and have an awesome range of pockets, we recommend checking out the Bluffworks Trevi Pant: packhacker.com/travel-gear/bluffworks/trevi-pant/ Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts with us! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
I hear ya but I think a lot of the time we just settle. As much as I LOVE having pockets my first priority is fabric, THEN cut/fit, THEN pockets. Never seen a combo of that that I've been happy with (Even high end). ATM I've got my eye on a pair of merino straight pants, a couple of pockets (but not secure) and very plain. My IDEAL merino pants just aren't viable I've realised (cos merino doesn't hold its shape) so....settling
My older sister is a rock and mountain climber. She says she prefers pants without pockets because they don't get in the way of harnesses 🤷♀️. Knowing there's a perfectly practical reason to NOT have pockets made me ok with it...for climbing anyway 👌😎. It's nice to have back pockets at least.
I enjoyed this list and the eco-friendly list (I’m vegan). A couple of things I would add would be a water filtration system (a collapsible water bag wrapped around a Lifestraw) and one of those silicon devices (like a GoGirl) that allow women to pee standing up - there having been times when traveling when the bathroom facilities have been iffy at best. A small bottle of hand sanitizer would not be a bad idea either.
Great suggestions here Cathy! We hear you, those devices come in super handy when you're on the road. If you're vegan, we also recommend checking out our Vegan Travel Guide packhacker.com/guide/vegan-world-travel-gear-guide/ - thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
how about just standing above the toilets? instead of carrying something that big :) also i'd personally feel quite stupid to carry that to the toilets, if someone would see me ^^'
@@tijay8507 yea I got that too, but what about just peeing while squatting? Idk to me it just takes space for nothing, it something you'd use only a couple of times in a trip
I loved your video. But as I am a plus size woman, I am having trouble finding these type of clothes that will fit me. Do you have a plus size woman who could come up with alternatives? We're going to be going to Whistler BC for skiing. I would LOVE to trim my bags down to a couple instead of my normal 5-6.
Hey Samantha - thanks for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts with us. I'll pass this info onto the team and we'll definitely take this into consideration for our future packing lists. 😊 - Rebecca
I am over 6 feet. I see those clothes and see bare belly short sleeves and pant legs... my clothes usually are very expensive for nothing special. 110-130 euros for jeans or simple black pants.. ugh. If you are plus sized, tall or very small like a friend if mine it's not always easy.
An interesting part of this sort of a video would be the whole idea of of “you can buy it when you get there” which is used so frequently in these packing videos but doesn’t apply in many countries plus sized travelers might go to. I’d love to see the plus sized and big people on your staff in front of the camera!
I'm a plus size gal that used to travel for work pre-pandemic. I bought some merino wool tops from Woolx (I wear 2XL). They're a little scratchy at first but after a couple of washes, they're good.
That Venus razor now comes in a travel version that I love. The blade is the same but the handle is smaller and it comes in a nice case. It’s called Venus Snap
Hey Sailing queen - yes the Venus Snap is ideal for travel and the case comes in super handy too. We're glad to hear it's working well for you. Thanks for reaching out! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
I lowkey love that a pink razor was not used. Pink is fine as a colour but not all women want pink. I know I don't. And trying to find women's versions of things that aren't pink can be hard sometimes. It's such a silly thing, but I appreciate it.
We hear you, Mara. It really was a struggle to find a women's razor that wasn't pink! And, the great thing is, this razor is still holding up well after almost a year of testing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 🙌 - Rebecca
I'm a chronic over-packer who is trying to pack lighter. Turns out the hotel chain where I stay(Hilton) help me a lot by providing many complimentary items: shaver, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, mouthwash, deodorant...These items help me pack lighter, especially for overnight trips...
Bamboo viscose might be a good choice? It doesn't dry quite as quickly as merino & I don't think it's quite as warm, but if you do with thin layers you'll be fine. Sorona is another fabric I've seen mentioned, though I think you have a higher chance of finding it as a blended fabric with bamboo.
@@FaerieDust I think bamboo is a great option anyway. It's not as warm as merino so I'd avoid as base layer but I like it for layering pieces especially something I'm going to be able to wear singly in the summer but can layer underneath in winter
Thanks for making the women's version! I would have loved to see some dry shampoo included in the toiletries. It's essential if you can't (or don't) shower every day! ;)
We hear you Umi, it's certainly handy for when you're on the road! The moon cup is in our Earth-Friendly Sustainable Packing List - packhacker.com/packing-list/earth-friendly-sustainable-packing-list/ and we're constantly on the lookout for different options, like the Thinx underwear, so that everyone can find a product that works well for them. @@PackHacker Hi, Rebecca. I use Diva Cup for other reasons. When I go surfing, I put keys and little money in a condom and put inside (of me...) and put the cup as the lid. I wonder if that makes sense, but that's a hack outside of menstruation.
Incredible ideas. I would just add a plastic compression bag for dirty clothes, a menstrual cup and sleep mask / essential oil based sleep aid and bug detergent.
Hey Papeeshka - we're glad you're digging the packing list, and thanks for sharing your travel tips with the community! We've tried and tested the Diva Cup packhacker.com/travel-gear/divacup/menstrual-cup/ and the THINX period-proof underwear which comes in super handy for travel, so we hear you! This video is really helpful it would be good to see something similar but for more of a plus size lady. I am a very fit/active uk size 18 and trying to pack for a 5 week trip is hard as everything seems very focused on smaller ladies. Helpful video none the less
I wear size 14/16. I am usually able to pack everything into a spirit approved personal item. Maybe consider the clothes you are packing? Or consider washing them more often on your trip? I usually bring leggings instead of jeans, and wash things in a sink and hang to dry if needed. I can pack so that 5-10 outfits are in my bag if it’s warm weather. I would do more but I have a huge heated brush. Good luck!
the undies you showed are great if you are small-busted and slim -- I am not and I have started test packing and realized HOW MUCH MORE space my size 18 to 22 size clothes take up, even rolled or folded Marie Kondo style! Same with bras, even wireless, a 44DD takes up a lot of space. Same with bathing suits Maybe there is a plus-sized member of your team who could do a video like that?!?!
Great list! I appreciate that you told us not to rush out and buy everything - I find often that I already have a lot of comparable items so I don't need to purchase too much. (Although this video does make me want to shop! Argh!) I tried that Wool& dress and really liked it, but found it to be too short for me to be practical. I am on the hunt for something a bit longer with short sleeves in merino. I hope you guys are keeping your eyes out for more dresses :) I usually like the Icebreaker dresses but for the past few seasons they haven't had any styles I like.
Hey Gina - thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! Glad you're digging the list. We're always on the lookout for new dresses (especially Merino ones) so keep an eye out! 😊👍 - Rebecca
Personally I'm thinking of getting my ideal travel dress MADE (Just so I can get the style I want in the FABRIC I want). It's a pretty simple style so I may have a go at diy even, if I can get the fabric I want
Fantastic! Thanks Pack Hacker, it's great to see some women's focused travel advice without it being all about skimpy outfits, makeup and so forth. Not that there's anything wrong with those things, but some practical advice is always welcome!
You got it pocketarian! 🙌 Glad to hear you're digging the items and that you've found the list handy, we're constantly working on creating more content like this, so stay tuned! 😊👍 - Rebecca
Absolutely brilliant. I'm 70 years old, love travelling, and this set of clothing is so practical although I would have at least two colours. The other items are good too.
Videos like this are so satisfying for me as a full time traveller and minimalist. At the moment I have way more stuff but your video helps to improve my packing list. Thank you!
I have three icebreaker Siren bras! I love mine! They do go on sale once in awhile so that’s great if you’re on a budget. But I’ve never seen the black colour on sale. Also, I love encircled! That is by far my favourite clothing brand!
That's awesome to hear Melissa! We're so glad that you're digging the Siren Bra. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, we love hearing what works for you too! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
Neat list. I made a video like this a few weeks ago. I find that the videos that are for men work for me too because it's not that different. I travel light like this too. But everything is black. Hope some of this has bright color choices to make things less boring.
Glad you're digging it Scary Fear! 🙌 We've found that black works better for travel, but if you prefer a pop of color, you can mix it up. 😊 You can use this list as a framework that you can adjust to you and your use case. Thanks for watching! 👍 - Rebecca
Thanks, some great product suggestions here! I would love to see some comparison videos on your favourite packs for women, with you packing these products. I would love to see you pack this bag in particular, because I’ve been looking at it. I’m a touch shorter than you, 5’2”.
For a small day pack, I'm currently testing the Triple Aught Design FAST Pack Scout. It's surprising how much will fit into 15L and it doesn't stick out like some backpacks. It's not a women's specific design, but I think it's plain enough not to look too butch to use around town. I'd also love to hear more about travel backpacks from the perspective of a smaller person (Bo Ismono isn't a woman, but he's 5'6" so check out his videos to see larger packs on a smaller person).
Quick question: I notice the sandals only come in full sizes. I reliably wear a 7.5, so I was wondering what you thought about the sizing. Normally I'd assume sizing up is the better move, but sometimes things run big and leather stretches! Reviews on Zappos and Amazon seem a little torn on this.
Hey Lilitou - great question! We ran into the same issue (I'm a 7.5 too) and I went up in sizing and they fit brilliantly. Of course, it's important to remember everyone is different, so we recommend contacting the company so that they can guide you towards the right size for you. Hope this helps! 😊 - Rebecca
...Every time I watch these, I check the lists and find that most of these clothes don't come in plus sizes. Can you put together a list that is more for the plus size nomad? Women's 2XL and above?
Hey Anna, thanks for reaching out and for sharing your feedback. I'll pass this information onto the team. We want to make sure that our packing lists work for everyone so this information is super important to us too. - Rebecca
plus size clothes not only are obiouvsly larger and challenging to pack:most of the clothes showed in this video don't even come in a XL or XXL size, so it goes sadly unuseful for plus size women..
Glad you're digging the video! Of course, it's the Everything Top from Hackwith Design House packhacker.com/travel-gear/hackwith-design-house/everything-top/ - hope this helps! 😊 - Rebecca
9:10 *cringing at the thought of packing $260 shoes folded* But I see later that you pack them flat. And assume that they'd generally be worn anyway :)
Hey Jed - we get what you're saying! We wanted to get across just how minimal and flexible these shoes really are, but when it comes to packing them, they're best packed flat or worn. 😊 Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 👍 - Rebecca
Sounds a lot like my Women's Minimalist Travel Wardrobe! I guess I do know a thing or two about packing. I have the Icebreaker Siren Bra but it's not quite as nice as the Ibex Merino wool bra. And Ibex is supposed to relaunch this fall!!! Ibex is my favorite source for women's travel clothes. 💕
That's awesome Kensho, it sounds like you have a solid travel wardrobe going on. Thanks for sharing, we'll check out Ibex when it relaunches! 😊🙌 - Rebecca

Also I'm liking what I'm seeing and reading about the vivobarefoot Lisbon (here and elsewhere) but I'm surprised you guys haven't done a dedicated UA-cam review on this shoe. And when I checked your website the last review is very minimal and quite old now. Could you guys update this please? My main concern is about the sole of the shoe. Seems like less grip than usual for vivobarefoot. How do you find it performs in the wet? And do you think these could be resoled?
Hi Rebecca. I'm curious. If you layered the merino singlet then t-shirt then jumper then puffer jacket then windbreaker, down to what temperature do you think that would withstand? BTW those foldable sunnies are genius (if you don't have prescription glasses - these days I just use transition glasses, add a cap and call it good. Even in snow is still ok)
Thank you. Great tips. Allow me to offer a better makeup version due to higher SPF. I use Korean Missha BB cream, great coverage, light on your skin, SPF +42 (I am in no way connected to the product, just long love and it tested under toughest sun conditions) :)
You got it, Tatyana! And thank you for sharing one of your go-to travel products with us, we love hearing what works for you. It sounds like you've really put this product to the test, I'll pass it into the team and we'll check it out! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
I would like a packing list for ladies with stuff you can buy in the UK and that includes a 40 litre backpack. The ones you feature on this are only available in the US and import duties are way to much?
Hey Kate! We recommend checking out our Earth Friendly Sustainable Packing List which is full of ethical, sustainable, and zero-waste products. 😊 packhacker.com/packing-list/earth-friendly-sustainable-packing-list/ - Rebecca
Hey Evelyn! As a digital nomad, I'm inside a lot of time, but when I go out, I do try to stay out of the sun and cover up as much as possible. Wearing a hat, covering my shoulders, and wearing the UNE PIECE Swimsuit packhacker.com/travel-gear/une-piece/original-sexie-rashie-cap-sleeve/ helps with sun protection, but because I'm pretty fair, depending on where I'm traveling to, a solid sunscreen stick packhacker.com/travel-gear/neutrogena/ultra-sheer-face-body-stick-sunscreen-broad-spectrum-spf-70/ is super handy. But, for when it's not sunny, the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer packhacker.com/travel-gear/laura-mercier/tinted-moisturizer/ is great to wear daily for extra protection. When it comes to the curls, I'm pretty lucky as they're super low maintenance, especially since I had most of it chopped off before this video. Plus, leaving in conditioner, using a Tangle Teezer packhacker.com/travel-gear/tangle-teezer/compact-styler/ and using Shea Butter packhacker.com/travel-gear/the-body-shop/100-natural-shea-butter/ (which is pretty versatile) is also great for taming that frizz! Hope this helps! - Rebecca
Hey Matt B - the full pack comes in at around 28lbs (12.7kgs) - you can find out more about this in our original Digital Nomad Packing List Video here ua-cam.com/video/mGvHt4blPDc/v-deo.html - hope this helps! 😊👍 - Rebecca
All black maybe alright for New York or certain other area but in Asian countries it is funeral clothing. Restaurant are apprehensive to serve you because they think you just came back from a funeral.
Ok last question, i find as a woman who does single pack travel i still find i need to bring a purse, for out and about use. Did you use one? Need one? What was your strategy there? Thanks#
Hey Rocio - we used the Tom Bihn Nik's Minimalist Wallet packhacker.com/travel-gear/tom-bihn/niks-minimalist-wallet/ for this packing list. We've also been testing the Bellroy Card Pocket packhacker.com/travel-gear/bellroy/card-pocket/ - which is handy if you want to carry some coins too. Keep an eye out for the full review on that one! 😊👍👍 - Rebecca
That's a nice little wallet! I normally just fold one out of waterproof paper to keep things really slim. As for a handbag type of purse (depends where you're from what "purse" can mean I guess) for an over-shoulder or cross-body I'm really loving the Peak Design Field Pouch. It's low key, easy to carry and fits in enough stuff for a minimal day of walking around (tested in a downpour in Sydney, it's also pretty good at keeping things dry).
Hey pocketarian - thanks for sharing what works for you. We're digging how minimal the waterproof paper is! Is this working out well for you? We've also been testing the Fjallraven Greenland Pocket packhacker.com/travel-gear/fjallraven/greenland-pocket/ which is super handy for those everyday essentials. Stay tuned for the full review! 😊🙌 - Rebecca
Why is all women’s travel stuff designed to make you look like you’re Steve Jobs? It would be great to see items for professional women that would pass in a meeting since there are SO many of us who travel weekly for our jobs.

Is it just me? All wife’s clothes, even jeans are thinner than the male products. I end up with half the outfits she does. Where can I get info on ordinary (not bespoke expensive) clothing of similar weight? Also, I travel in the tropics (hate the cold), seems your recommendations are for cooler climates?
Definitely going to be checking out some of those clothes for work and for travel. And I've been looking for a new pair of sandals anyway. Thanks for doing a women's version of the list!
I'm looking at the shorts, the leggings (pockets!), and the sandals for sure. And possibly that long sleeved wool top, too. Maybe the socks as well. Possibly in stages, because I need a raise! 😉
We get where you're coming from, Tvtvt Fan. From our experience, we've found that black works best for travel, but we do recommend using this list as a framework to make it work for you and your travel style. So, if you prefer a pop of color or some lighter-colored clothing, feel free to mix it up. 😊 🙌 - Rebecca
Do you have any suggestions for women's merino thermal underwear that is not itchy enough to be against your skin but can also double as a black longsleeve shirt?
Hey riesemma - while this top isn't thermal underwear, the Smartwool Everyday Exploration Slub Long Sleeve Top is a solid option packhacker.com/travel-gear/smartwool/everyday-exploration-slub-long-sleeve/ and we're always on the lookout for more gear like this to review so keep an eye out on our social channels for new content. 😊👍 - Rebecca
The clothes all seem doable - except those shoes. The are not dressy enough to wear for a fancy dinner out. They're too ugly - I would never wear those shoes to a nice restaurant - and I don't really follow fashion...A pair of lightweight ballet slippers would look better than those shoes. I'm going to try the QUIP travel toothbrush.
Hey nuvoclassic - thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! We found the Vivobarefoot Handcut Lisbon to be more versatile and comfortable when walking longer distances than ballet pumps, but of course, everyone is different, which is why we suggest using this list as a framework that you can adapt to you and your use case. 😊👍 - Rebecca
Would it be totally TMI to ask if you actually tested the Thinx undies? I've been wondering about them for so long! But that bra, hell yea! I've been looking for something like that for a while! And don't get me started on makeup! Everyone has different tastes but I'm so intrigued by that palette and eco tools brush. Thank you!
Hey Rocio - not at all! It's definitely a topic that needs to be discussed more so that we can find better solutions for travel (and for home). We've been pretty impressed with the Thinx so far AND we're working on a full review too, so stay tuned for that! 😊 We're so glad you're digging the packing list and makeup items, a compact palette is super handy when you're on the go! 🙌 - Rebecca
Hey! I use thinx and they're so good, if you have a medium or light flow they're perfect - especially for sleeping. If you have a heavier flow I'd probably use in conjunction with a diva cup. The style they recommend is probably the best one. Because they're like a pad at the start of my period I find that I change in the afternoon and put on a new pair (just to feel super fresh) so that's something to consider but I think they're great even to start introducing into your routine :) (also sorry if that was too TMI but thought I add my experience)
Pack Hacker I've been very happy with them! I used them mid last week and did not worry at all about leaking on a very long flight. Thanks again for the recommendation.

That Siren bra looked like a sleeping bra. The bra shown in the video would not support my C cups at all!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us nuvoclassic - finding a bra to suit every frame and shape is certainly not an easy task! We recommend using this list as a framework that you can adapt to you and your use case. 😊😊

So, if you're looking for a smart pair of pants that work great for travel and have an awesome range of pockets, we recommend checking out the Bluffworks Trevi Pant: packhacker.com/travel-gear/bluffworks/trevi-pant/
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts with us! 😊🙌

how about just standing above the toilets? instead of carrying something that big :) also i'd personally feel quite stupid to carry that to the toilets, if someone would see me ^^'
@@florence8747 If you are in the loo you don't need it!! it is for peeing away from the loo in the great outdoors!!!!!!!!!
@@tijay8507 yea I got that too, but what about just peeing while squatting?
Idk to me it just takes space for nothing, it something you'd use only a couple of times in a trip
@@florence8747 There are some pretty small and lightweight collapsible pee tubes out there. Check out camping gear
- Rebecca
I don’t see any plus size specific videos yet. I think we’ll have to do this one ourselves, ladies.
- Rebecca
I lowkey love that a pink razor was not used. Pink is fine as a colour but not all women want pink. I know I don't. And trying to find women's versions of things that aren't pink can be hard sometimes. It's such a silly thing, but I appreciate it.
We hear you, Mara. It really was a struggle to find a women's razor that wasn't pink! And, the great thing is, this razor is still holding up well after almost a year of testing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! 🙌
- Rebecca
I often shop the men's section just to avoid these infantile colour combinations 😐
That's great that you've been able to find a way to help you pack lighter nuvoclassic! Thanks for sharing your tips with us! 😊👍

Would love to see some clothing suggestions for women allergic to wool.
We hear you, Gina! We're currently working on creating more packing lists, so stay tuned! 😊🙌
- Rebecca
Bamboo viscose might be a good choice? It doesn't dry quite as quickly as merino & I don't think it's quite as warm, but if you do with thin layers you'll be fine.
Sorona is another fabric I've seen mentioned, though I think you have a higher chance of finding it as a blended fabric with bamboo.
I second this, my skin can’t stand merino wool
That’s so interesting, I’d never considered that someone could be allergic to wool! Is it all wool? Do you know what about it your skin reacts to?
@@FaerieDust I think bamboo is a great option anyway. It's not as warm as merino so I'd avoid as base layer but I like it for layering pieces especially something I'm going to be able to wear singly in the summer but can layer underneath in winter
Thanks for making the women's version! I would have loved to see some dry shampoo included in the toiletries. It's essential if you can't (or don't) shower every day! ;)
You got it elarwhis! Dry shampoo is a great shout - thanks for sharing! 😊🙌

@@PackHacker Hi, Rebecca. I use Diva Cup for other reasons. When I go surfing, I put keys and little money in a condom and put inside (of me...) and put the cup as the lid. I wonder if that makes sense, but that's a hack outside of menstruation.
Thanks for sharing Umi - is this a common hack for surfers? 😊

Or lunacup. Wow keep stuff in a condom inside with a cup 'lid'. Why not. Great hack!!

Same with bathing suits
Maybe there is a plus-sized member of your team who could do a video like that?!?!

me: now...that's my vibe
Is that all the sunscreen you wear? And also how do you wash and style your beautiful curls on the go?

Beta brand is pretty good for comfy, easy to pack, professional, and fun colors and styles.
@@vannareyne6336 thanks, this is just what I needed :)
Am I missing any provided links for the products mentioned in this video? Thx!
Hi Julie! We've got all the items listed out here: packhacker.com/packing-list/digital-nomad/

Do you find merino wool items wrinkling easy? Especially when packed in a backpack.
From our testing we've found that if our Merino wool clothing does wrinkle, they do drop out pretty quickly. Plus, if you're looking for more info on Merino wool, we recommend checking out our guide which covers everything from clothing to care: packhacker.com/guide/merino-wool-travel-clothing/
Hope this helps!

Patagonia
Definitely going to be checking out some of those clothes for work and for travel. And I've been looking for a new pair of sandals anyway. Thanks for doing a women's version of the list!
Hey Lilitou - glad you're digging the packing list! Let us know what you check out, we'd love to hear what works for you too! 😊
- Rebecca
I'm looking at the shorts, the leggings (pockets!), and the sandals for sure. And possibly that long sleeved wool top, too. Maybe the socks as well. Possibly in stages, because I need a raise! 😉
That's awesome Lilou! For sure, we found it's best to slowly optimize your gear and figure out what best works for you. Keep us updated! 🙌🙌
- Rebecca
I hope you enjoyed your time here in Detroit. :P
I sure did, cgonz313! 😊👍
- Rebecca
Are those shoes actually comfortable for a lot of walking?
Do you have some alternative items for those of us allergic to wool?
We are not experts in this area, but we would recommend looking into bamboo options!
-Eric
Nylon, polyester
Great but I wouldn’t want to wear in hot weather. Black really absorbs heat
We get where you're coming from, Tvtvt Fan. From our experience, we've found that black works best for travel, but we do recommend using this list as a framework to make it work for you and your travel style. So, if you prefer a pop of color or some lighter-colored clothing, feel free to mix it up. 😊 🙌
- Rebecca
Do you have any suggestions for women's merino thermal underwear that is not itchy enough to be against your skin but can also double as a black longsleeve shirt?
Hey riesemma - while this top isn't thermal underwear, the Smartwool Everyday Exploration Slub Long Sleeve Top is a solid option packhacker.com/travel-gear/smartwool/everyday-exploration-slub-long-sleeve/ and we're always on the lookout for more gear like this to review so keep an eye out on our social channels for new content. 😊👍

- Rebecca
I’m actually considering buying a pair of these shoes. I love how versatile they look and they also appear to be quality made.
I like to pack a pair of black foldable ballet flats. I wear them pretty much everyday but they also work for dressing up.
Venus razor that's NOT pink 😱😱😱? Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!
- Rebecca
Pack Hacker You just sold two pairs of these! I've been considering them as back up on my active travel days.
That's awesome Nedega! Let us know how you get on with them, we'd love to hear if they work for you. 😊
- Rebecca
Lmao love how dudes get boxers and we get a g string. Not comfortable.
Hey Annika - we recommend using this list as a framework, so feel free to mix it up so that it works for you! 😊
- Rebecca
Do check out the Uniqlo AIRism seamless underwear series that are thin, comfy and dries easily. Really great for travel.
Hey@@MsChanminghui - we've tested out the Uniqlo AIRism Ultra Seamless Bikini Shorts which you can check out in our full review here packhacker.com/travel-gear/uniqlo/airism-ultra-seamless-bikini-shorts/ 😊👍

You wear wool in the summer??
Yep - Merino wool! It's great for travel. We have a whole guide if you'd like to learn more: packhacker.com/guide/merino-wool-travel-clothing/

You probably meant Global Nomad. A digital nomad doesn't necessarily travel
Hey bouncingcookie - we get what you're saying but our original Digital Nomad Packing list here ua-cam.com/video/mGvHt4blPDc/v-deo.html is pretty tech-focused to give a Digital Nomad on the road everything they need. Hope this helps! 😊
- Rebecca
I will admit that I still can’t get over the “2 thongs” as the regular underwear. Lol
Hey Jeanne - we get what you're saying, everyone is different, so feel free to use this list as a framework and mix it up so that it works for you. Plus the two pairs of Thinx can also be worn as everyday underwear. packhacker.com/travel-gear/thinx/hiphugger/ 😊
- Rebecca
What about sleepwear?
Hey emilymle34 - we found the Merino wool clothing comfortable enough for sleeping in, but if this doesn't work for you feel free to mix it up and adjust this packing list so that it works for you. 😊
- Rebecca
You don’t have to wear all black to be a minimalist. But I love black tho
You sure don't Made Lery Suarthami , but we're really digging it too! 🙌😊
- Rebecca
she did say if you want a pop of colour do that
Black out!
