I enjoyed your video. I was unsure about my hoop frame but I'm reassured I made the right purchase. Love being able to quilt a queen sized quilt on my QZone and Q'nique 19. Keep on making these great videos!
Thank you so much! I am so glad you are enjoying them! The cutie and Qzone are really great frames! It just takes a bit of getting use to and re-thinking how to do things. Perfect for those of us with very limited space.
I could see that it will work. My back was so smooth and my stitching even if not a tad boxy on the curves. That was the user, not the frame. I can see the frame does what it says it does, I'm just frustrated. It's in the corner of the room collecting dust.
I love what you chose to quilt on this one! I have the same machine and I have a thread question. Once I put my thread thru the needle it is really hard to pull out extra length of thread from the needle. Sometimes the thread will break. Is it suppose to really hard to pull out extra thread? It is also hard when I am done with a row and need to tie off my thread. It’s hard to move the machine to get a longer piece of thread. I would love some insight!
Interesting. No, it should not be hard to pull the thread through. I have not had that problem at all. A few things to double check...I always start at the beginning, making sure everything is threaded properly and not looped around or through anything extra. It should be very similar to pulling thread when you presser foot is up on your domestic machine. Also, make sure your upper tension is not too high or low. Mine is usually between 1 1/2 and 3 depending on the thread weight I am using. I hope you get this resolved. If not, call Grace Company tech support!!!
Your quilt looks beautiful! That is some great quilting. I have a call into Grace because I can't get my Q19 to do the regulated precise stitching. Just recently got my 19, also purchased the QCT 5 Pro robotics. The QCT works fantastic, but I wanted to do some free motion quilting. Not sure what the problem is, but hopefully I get a call back soon. I called them about 5 days ago and haven't heard anything yet. I love how you quilted that! Was so very happy to get on youtube this morning and see another video from you! Love your channel and enjoy watching you quilt!
Thank you so much! If I were you, I would Call them again! Let them know that you called 5 days ago. I hope you get it all figured out and running perfectly!!!!
I'm still on the wall about my Cutie. I've only had time to play with it twice and I did like what I saw but gosh you don't get very far before you have to move everything. I need more practice but I need to get my quilts quilted! I finally after 2 practice sessions took it off my table and set up my juki mock sit down setup and just whipped out a quilt top! I'm thinking about getting the machine you have but first I was a new top of the line juki for piecing so it'll have to wait.
Do you find you liked the cutie better after you switched machine. Less moving and fiddling around? Do you get very far before you have to move everything? I have buyers remorse. Last time I was on it, I walked away bleeding. Sigh.
Hi Caryn. I was so very frustrated prior to upgrading to the Q'nique19. I went from an 8" quiltable area to a 17" quiltable area. I can work most large block now. It took me a bit to get use to the process, my process. How I need to look at things and work them a bit differently. I would LOVE to have the space for a large table (10') but I don't - and this was the solution to my space situation. One of the things that I really like about the frame is that I am not committed to having my quilt on the frame only one way. I can flip it sideways or even upside down. Sometime I have a hard time with flipping a motif in my head, but if I turn the quilt it makes sense. Give yourself time to make moving the quilt and working in sections a part of the whole process. That helped me A LOT! Don't give up!

I love your thought process and designs. You teach well
Thank you so very much!
You do very nice work.
Thank you very much!
Awesome👌👌👌
Thanks 🤗
that threading trick ( tying new thread to old thread ) is a serger trick :)
.
Nice, I think I’m going to get the 23” one.
I'm jealous!!!! I am curious, which frame are you getting?
That turned out beautiful. I still haven't gotten into rulers yet. I enjoy watching your setup process.
Thank you so much!

Do you still use your cutie frame?
I have a couple more quilt that I need to finish up on the cutie frame. I have not decided on whether or not I am going to part with it.
