I love ALL of your Stripolgy Rulers & recommend them. I purchased your recent ruler & “Master Your Stripolgy Rulers” book. With your four Stripolgy Rulers, books, & videos, I may become a “Stripolgy Rulers Pro!”😂❤❤❤❤
It's useful to re watch this even when you've been using the ruler for some time . I now realise why I was missing sections in the middle of the strips . Thank you
Hi Gudrun, I just got your new XL Ruler. I am studying before using the ruler. I am excited to make this task easier as cutting fabric has been my nemesis.. I’ve only been quilting for a year, so far I’ve made 20 completed with two ready to FMQ.. I saw you on the Fat Quarter Shop with Kimberly, I’m so happy to have found you. Thank you for the work you have done to make quilting easier. I adore your quilts and cannot wait to make your patterns (I also bought your books). Thanks again, 💖🥰 Chris-Raleigh NC
You have so many rulers, I’m not quite sure which one would be the best one for me to get that I would be able to use rather than buying several different ones. which one do you prefer that you think I would get the most out of?
Hi Cathy, if you've got the cutting space I would definitely suggest the new Stripology XL ruler. You can do everything with it! If your space is smaller then the Stripology Squared is a great ruler. It's also wonderful for traveling and retreats.
Hi Gudrun, if you are right-handed, couldn't you place the initial quarter - inch trim piece on the right side, so you don't endanger your fingers on the first trimming before cutting strips?
I have recently moved and my Creative Grids has broken from the 7 1/2”, 8 1/2” and 9 1/2” rows have snapped in the middle of the ruler, I am heart broken. Has anyone repaired a Creative Grids ruler? Definitely a replacement at this time is not in my budget.
Could I use this to cut bias binding tubes by placing the ruler at an angle? I have lupus which messes with my ability to stay focused, especially when it comes to numbers. This makes it impossible for me to make bias binding tubes (I mess up the cutting lines). I bought this ruler and the stripology squared ruler, and though my cognitive disfunction still causes me to make mistakes, these rulers are WONDERFUL. I use the stripology squared ruler to reduce the size of my blocks so that they are all the same size (when I've made mistakes). These rulers RULE!
I have trouble with matching the fabric at the salvages. When i do that the fabric doesn’t lie straight. I’ve been told not to do that in the past....i was shown a way to match salvages and shift until the folded fabric is smooth
I would add some warnings your videos when using these rulers to watch your fingertips when cutting the left edge. For someone with long fingers there is not much room to place your finger and thumb. I had a nasty accident recently. Do you have any suggestions? I love my stripology rulers, but I’m hesitant
That is great can’t wait to get on. Thank you for sharing😊

You have too rules white the definition can you please tell me the size between the too rules
Do you have to unfold and relay the strips to subcut or can you just turn the mat and place the ruler.

I love this ruler! I have a pattern calling for jelly roll but then cutting the strips down to 2". Do you have any tips on how to do this efficiently?

How come after I align salvage and press . Then I fold over to cut. When I open strip it is not even, it has an arch to it.
I have 1 arm. Can I use this.
Thank you for thinking of us lefties!!
OK, I want one.
Is there something like this for triangles and other shapes?
Can you show how to make a square please?

Sometimes the salvage is tight on some fabrics, clip the salvage every inch to release the tension it wiĺl help the fabric lay flat
Denise Luper a really good pressing will help with the selvages
It is a SELVAGE
I am a Malaysian. I wish to purchase this ruler,so how much n how to order?

Couldn't you cut with the 1/4 inch trim on the right side, and then you could make the cuts going the other direction?
Do you have books for beginners?
Where do you buy the one she is using? It is not on the website.
Bonnie Kade it is the original, here is a link:

Bonnie Kade I bought mine on amazon.
@@GEDesigns Unfortunately the link doesn'twork. CGRGE1 seems to be out of stock on the Creative Grids website. Is the ruler still available?
Contined: so i’m really concerned about using this at the moment. Advice please to avoid the “elbows”
Denise Luper align both folds parallel to each other and you’ll have no elbows
