I just recently started detailing vehicles on the side to try and escape my horrible job of working at a psychiatric hospital. I’ve been there for 7 years! So far I’ve been getting about a client a week, which has been very nice. I love seeing the clients face and reaction after you transform their vehicle.
Anyways, hope I am the lucky winner. Stay safe out there.

Chelsea’s video is the first I have found that provides all the practical tips the new practitioner needs to be confident in making their first attempt at polishing. Her comments about correcting panels in sections, cleaning used pads on the fly, and managing expectations with the Griot’s G9 put this video over the top in helpfulness. Thank you, Chelsea, and thanks for organizing a giveaway to help someone get a great, new start! Don’t select me for it since I have one already on order. - Curly Wolf

DONE - Would LOVE the Griot’s G9 polisher! I ventured down the rabbit 🐇 hole of detailing my own car about 1.5 years ago (began following you when you “only” had about 2k subs). A couple of months ago I started offering my detailing services to friends and neighbors. Now, it’s time to up my game more with polishing! I’ve seen nothing but great reviews on the G9 and am ready to develop my polishing skills.

I have built and refinished many guitars, and became familiar with the process of bringing up various finishes. Ever since I was a kid, I loved taking things apart and fixing them, and more importantly bringing out the best of whatever I’m working on. It needs to be shiny and make it shiny. If it needs to run smoother, I make that happen. The finish part is often the most important part. (I am also a professional house painter, for the last 30 years)
So, I’ve always loved making things beautiful and my shoulders will not permit me to hand finish our three vehicles. I finished many vehicles for other people when I had access to a buffer. I am very good at detailing, and just need the equipment, tools, and supplies to maximize my efficiency and Take me to the next level.

Need to try my luck out on this 😂 so I recently got into car detailing, i haven’t polished a car but I will as soon as I win this giveaway 😅 it all started with one simple car wash that my friend forced me to do to our cars and now I can’t stop buying products and watching videos 😩 thank you for being one of my UA-cam teachers 🙌🏻

My name’s Joseph I’m 22 years old I’ve been detailing for about two years now. I started detailing as a sign of appreciation to my car that I had worked so hard for. After buying all the Walmart products I could find I searched the word detailing and found that it was a real thing. Detailing Chanel’s like yours have inspired me to take my skills to the next level. I work for a great company and continue my passion when I’m at home. My boss always says “game is sold not given”. Well these videos give that game🙏🏽. Happy detailing!

I own a 2016 suv. It was washed regularly in one of those automatic car washes. It was kept on a dirt driveway under trees. The paint is swirled and deep clearcoat stains and tree sap. This video was really good for me to watch in preparation for cleaning it up.

"DONE!" I am an enthusiast turning part time beginner pro. I have polished three cars, family cars, and some practice junk panels using a very old Porter Cable 7424. I am unemployed due to Covid and have started detailing as a way to earn income. My target is daily drivers. I hope to polish a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and a 2001 Ford F-250 that used to haul horse trailers.

Done. Chelsea, you are a very good teacher. Far better than the vast majority of UA-camrs. You speak clearly, you cover the material quickly, but completely, and you have a very pleasant manner. I am a beginner that has watched a lot of detailing videos and I’ve learned more from you than any of the other detainers. Keep up the good work. I am working up the courage to restore the paint on my wife's 2008 Chili Red and White MINI Cooper. It is her pride and joy and I need to do it right.

Since then I've been watching UA-cam, buying better tools and practicing. My family and friends have benefited. Having this polisher will step up my game.
Thanks for the videos and information. Always helpful. Cheers.

Retired and former racer (in my younger days) but I still remember the ordeal of hand compounding and polishing ((ugh) so I am going to buy a Grilt’s GG6 if I can find one, and next have to learn what pads to use and when ( wow, more expenses) but I am convinced after watching numerous videos of Griot’s amazing cleaner polisher product. I am so grateful to you for the long distance hand holding.. so informative... even entertaining a bit . Most videos assume at least an intermediate level of experience but a rookie has few to watch and learn from.. ThankX again

The one I grab first is that 7424 - non "XP".

Not really a beginner I’ve detail cars before during my college years. Decided to get back into it not so much for the money but the love of detailing cars and restoring beauty to cars. I’m from Arkansas and the weather is starting to cool down so I’m getting ready to prep and protect my brother’s 2005 Lexus LS 430 for the winter ( clean, clay, decontaminated, polish, and ceramic coat) . This is a great video. I have polished and compounded and washed and waxed vehicles since my parents gave me my first Mustang in 1970. I bought a 2018 Mustang GT the year I retired. It’s paint is Black. So, I bought a Griot’s G9 kit. It came with one 6” orange, and a red one. I used the orange pad and the Boss Polishing Creme on my White pickup and Ford Edge. Then, realized I made a mistake of not having multiple pads. I have not used the G9 on my black Mustang except on the trunk deck. It was swirly and light scratches from a car jumping on the car. I was very pleased with the results. As soon as I can convince my wife I need $100 worth of foam pads I will buy them too. 👍🏻

Started doing maintenance washes and waxes with my first car at 16 - a beater by every sense of the word, but I still enjoyed taking care of it. Lots of years and a few cars later I've just recently started taking it to the next level. After lots of research and watching videos (like this one!) I gained the confidence to do a full wash/decon/polish/ceramic coating on my 5 year old daily driver. It was a lot more work than I anticipated but so incredibly rewarding. My wife just got a new car and I'll probably do the whole thing again soon!

DONE! I’m new to this style of detailing. I had a small business in the 90s detailing dealer cars ( I got $25 per car for a full detail! ) 😫. I’m in my 50s now and we lost our cleaning business that had been open since St. Pats day 1973 to the COVID quarantine here in Illinois. I’m just doing odd jobs now and trying to get my fledgling detail business off the ground. It’s far more expensive to get started than I remember and my trusted Milwaukee 30 y/o buffer grew legs and disappeared. Its been set back after set back , but not giving up! I enjoy the satisfaction of a full detail and always have, which is why cleaning was satisfying for me. Detailing, however has always been my first love. I’ll keep plugging away and detail as long as my body will allow! I’m doing an F350 Crew cab duality right now in my driveway and it’s a monster! Lol.

That Griot’s polisher is quite impressive.
I think the Rupes medium cut wool pad would work really well with either the correcting cream or the quick correcting cream.
It’s such a nice pad to use and it does a nice job when used with Rupes uno protect all in one also.
I never realized that Griot’s makes such great products. I’m in the commercial end of it all day everyday so I don’t see much of the consumer grade stuff. I’m quite impressed by what I see of their products

I'm a weekend enthusiast trying to keep up the families four cars. I drive a truck so I have to get to it when I'm home. My oldest son has become quite the mechanic so he keeps them on the road. I just try to keep them looking decent while on the road. 😄

I really can’t wait to correct and coat a client’s corvette before winter sets in on us. Thank you for all you do with your videos!

Ooh, Corvette. Thats the first vehicle I polished as well. Definitely a challenge with its hard paint and fiberglass panels. What do you plan on using for it?

Have not used a polisher or done any extensive hand polishing to vehicles before. But, I have a 15-year old Hyundai that needs some "love" to bring back its finish as well as my SO's newish Kia...mine in silver and hers in white. Loving the videos I've been watching on your channel and learning a lot from here and other youtubers who are in the profession.

Have the g21, g15, and g8 and the entire boss line. FC and Correcting cream is the business. Correcting cream on a boss microfiber pad finishes down great
ONLY complaint is my g21 backing plate is delaminating cause vibration that wasn't there before.
