Excellent video! I just picked up my 2024 GMC SIERRA in titanium Rush Metallic. When the sun came out OMG! The dealer must have sent the truck through a car wash. Spent the day doing a total paint correction! The paint looks like factory thanks to Griots products!❤
Excellent tip on the "How to keep polisher flat" comment Sam! applying pressure to the polisher with the "trigger" hand was something I struggled with, because I didn't feel myself doing it. The leverage required to tip the pad is so minimal, that it can be difficult to sense you're doing so and the longer the handle is on the polisher, the harder it is to detect, because the leverage increases so dramatically the further your back hand is from the pad. I'm certainly not a pro and still have a lot to learn, but I try to feel as if I'm almost lifting slightly with my trigger hand and control all the pressure applied to the surface with my front hand, just to offset my natural tendencies.
Thanks for the UA-cam lives! Keep 'em coming! I still don't understand two things. What is so bad about using two pads on one car for one cream? I heard you loud and clear about consistency and not dragging contaminants around the car and too much compound/cream product impacting performance. Since I am still so new I haven't seen this impact. Lastly, can you include in another video, pads with various life on them? I want to know when to ditch old worn out pads. Thanks again!
The Terry weave towel you have said is the best that you have but it feels a lot coarser then your other blue towels and your cream polishes are they better than your other polish
The fastest most easiest way to trash a paint job. Had to leave from using this system on my drag car for an extreme family emergency and couldn't wipe off the spatter from the compound for a couple of days later, it literally etched the spots into the paint and can't get it out.
