Here’s a brief synopsis: Her taillight was busted out and the pieces were found buried in the snow at the scene. There were also small pieces embedded into John’s shirt. And no, they could not have been planted. The SERT members were finding pieces before they had the vehicle in the sallyport. We know she purposely backed into John ‘s vehicle to try to make it appear that that’s how her tail light got busted. But we know from the evidence that her bumper would’ve hit and her tail light would’ve touched nothing. We also know that there were no pieces of her tail light found in that location. Both John’s DNA and one of his hairs was found on the back of her vehicle, including on the tail light. The video footage of her coming home around 12:40 AM is suspiciously missing. The reason for this would be so we didn’t see that her tail light was already busted out. John never made it into the house where the party was. We know this because around 7 people testified to it and his phone never moved after 12:31 AM, which is exactly when he was dropped off. Karen Read was heard by a half dozen people saying “I hit him. I hit him,” as well as “ this is all my fault. I hit him.” Video footage and cell phone data show that Karen went to 34 Fairview before she picked up Jen and Kerry in the morning. So when she arrived and “discovered his body,” she had been there by herself about 30 minutes earlier. This is how she knew exactly where he was despite the other two testifying that he wasn’t visible from their car. When Karen first talked with Jen and Kerry in the morning, she tried to lie and say she hadn’t seen John since The Waterfall. It was testified to that she backed up at 24 miles an hour then suddenly stopped as if she had hit something. The expert testified that it was consistent with hitting a pedestrian. We now know for certain that the search, “how long does it take to die in the cold” was made after they found his body. And most tellingly is that initially she admitted via her attorney that it was a terrible accident and there was no criminal intent.

Video footage and cell phone data show that Karen went to 34 Fairview before she picked up Jen and Kerry in the morning. So when she arrived and “discovered his body,” she had been there by herself about 30 minutes earlier. This is how she knew exactly where he was despite the other two testifying that he wasn’t visible from their car.
When Karen first talked with Jen and Kerry in the morning, she tried to lie and say she hadn’t seen John since The Waterfall.
It was testified to that she backed up at 24 miles an hour then suddenly stopped as if she had hit something. The expert testified that it was consistent with hitting a pedestrian.
We now know for certain that the search, “how long does it take to die in the cold” was made after they found his body.
And most tellingly is that initially she admitted via her attorney that it was a terrible accident and there was no criminal intent.
