  • Fear seems to be epidemic in our society. We fear beginnings, We fear endings. We fear changing, we fear staying stuck. We fear success, we fear failure. We fear living, we fear dying.
What is it for you? Fear of public speaking? Fear of asserting yourself? Fear of making decisions? Fear of intimacy? Fear of changing jobs? Fear of being alone? Fear of aging? Fear of driving? Fear of losing a loved one? Fear of ending a relationship?
It turns out that while all of these fears seem completely different, they actually all boil down to one root cause. In this episode, we dissect fear, we strip it back to is most basic component, then provide ways to overcome that fear and move forward with your life.

Nobody wants to face the fear because it feels like a threat to our survival. This isn’t the type of book a fearful person would necessarily want to read because even the title sounds scary. However, I found the truths in this book life changing. Its unlike anything I’ve ever read about fear and how to handle it. Thank you guys for a great video.

I think people have fear to listen to this because they dont want to talk about fear, hence low number of views. Very important topic, thanks both.

I remember reading this book around 2014 or so since I've struggled with panic attacks and anxiety most of my life and have read this book twice before because I love it so much but will say I needed refreshed again because I'm 27, almost 28 later this summer and have been scared of driving and am afraid of deep water in which I want to overcome so I can travel and go out west to jump on springs and canoe between mountains without freaking out. Also, I feel everyone should know how to swim for survival skills and I feel like I can just don't like the thought of my feet not touching my feet. Thank you both for this & breaking it down nicely. 🙂

Everything in my life has become strategizing around public presenting. I'm super confident in discussions but when it comes to formalizing something I choke, freeze, vomit, faint, shake, spin. It's nuts.

    Shame about the offensive language.
