Debbi P. was the "Ringo" of the Bangles in more than just being the drummer, but in that she made rare appearances as lead singer but those appearances were always anticipated by fans!

They've got so much to offer: the way they combine their sweet voices; ..way they combine their instruments; the cheerful air with which they perform... I'm gonna find it difficult to get a flight to the UK again, even to see my relatives, in the Lake District. So mebbe my only chance is gonna be if The Bangles come on tour here, to Spain. A best man in our wedding was the bodyguard for the Bangles at this time and Susannah and Michael did not go to the wedding because there was discord. So sad because they sang like birds. Met them backstage but all but Vickie were a standoffish. Can hardly blame them, they were hot and sweaty and not really wanting to meet fans.
I saw them at Six Flags over Georgia in.... Don’t recall the exact year, might have been ‘88, or ‘89. A storm was starting to brew, so they cancelled the opening act, no one complained. Great show, they Rocked out just like you see in these live videos, the audience was completely enchanted by these super talented Women! 😁❤️👍
Debbie needed more songs as the lead singer but too bad that didn't happen. I must admit though that it is nice to see a nice looking blonde playing drums. Good song

It's funny, but at the time I largely dismissed the Bangles as mostly a cover-band (as good as they were), I was a big Go-Gos fan from the start, with their sorta punk-f-u-energy and writing all their own stuff. But when you hear The Bangles actually play live and harmonize, they're really excellent.
That's right. And with this concert they proved what a fantastic rock band they were. Better than most male bands. Nevertheless, I always felt that they never got the recognition they deserved in their home country. I have always wondered why that is so...
Great song...love the bangles...wish I had seen them before the insanity of the fame took away the pure songwriting. One question here tho...where the hell is the tambourine sound coming from? Debbie isn't playing anything on her kit that would make that sound, and the rest of the band already has their hands full...just sayin....
The Bangles are Pure 1980’s 22 carrot Gold & they made a massive impact with their Bang’in Music on myself and many other people They Go into our music History as Legendary & very Sexy !
the Ruttles a made up band by half the Monty python team and Neil Innes (Gonzo Dog Doda band) not sure if they are on UA-cam but there is the BBC film of them sort of a forerunner of spinal tap. great comedy
The music industry wanted to treat these gals as a group of Barbie dolls which they certainly are not they're a band,a harmony group for sure and a good one.
Susanna will always be my favorite but Vicki has got a lot of energy! She looks great too. Like to imagine her bringing that energy to the bed! Really, they all looked great at this concert.

Tempo is way too fast. It works so much better when slower as in the video. And of course you need Nimoy frowning on all the shenanigans.
