but one thing i think about is the fact that if we consider massy films to be not very good or not artistic enough, wouldnt that be wrong? the primary purpose of films is to entertain, so i think making mass films is also a skill.
True, there’s always a certain trade off between entertaining and thought provoking. Massy films may not be entirely artistic but can respect the audiences’ intelligence. A good example is Rajkumar Hirani’s cinema, it is both entertaining and artistic, is massy but does not insult the audience’s intelligence.

This is how cinema operates: We've categorized movies into two broad types - those we enjoy for their mindless entertainment value, and those we appreciate for their sophistication and thought-provoking nature. When indulging in mindless entertainment, we often prefer the company of friends, whereas with reflective and intellectually stimulating cinema, we gravitate towards our innermost circle, seeking solitude or the presence of our closest confidants.
I believe the appeal of the latter lies in its ability to unfold our inner selves, allowing us to observe our struggles from an external perspective and come to terms with our fallibility, recognizing that we, like everyone else, make mistakes. Such cinema aims to facilitate healing, offering a space where we can be our authentic selves, free from pretense.
About Nawazuddin "A Hypocrite". Actors should be known more from their work and not how good you sound in an interview. He always has this complaint with the Bollywood that we watch Cinema 1. But look at his records how much he himself has contributed to both the cinemas.

Yes I ccompletely agree on your arguments, but we cannot say there is an unsophisticated audience all over India. If you look at the Malayalam industry, their is large audince for films with good content and making apart form mass masal or star cast films and in Tamil industry also some directors like Vetrimaran are bringing in good content.
Will be safe to say in general we are still lacking a little but I am in total agreement with your statement about Malayalam cinema, it is by far the best cinema in the country! In the future I am going to cover a video about Fahadh Faasil and Friends Production! And we need great directors like Vetrimaaran, a true gem 💎

Pura video thik hai lekin ek baat galat hai cinema life pe impact nahi dalti, celebrity culture duniya ka har kone mai hai,but kuch achhe movies mai bhi msg galat hote hai.hollywood mai bhi larger than life movies hin jyada paisa kamati hai.cinema hair style change kar sakti hai life nahi.bahut kam log hai jinke life mai kisi movie ka impact pada ho.achhi movies bhi chalti jaise 12th fail box office mai success hai sayad dekhne mai collections kam dikh rahi ho lekin movie ka profit margin 10 times of its budget tha,lekin commercial movies jitna bhi kamale unka profit margin kam hota hai... Indian cinema mai bahut sare achhe content wale larger than life movies bhi hai lekin thode kam hai.Entertainment field agenda ghusana jyada dangerous hai kharab movie banane se bhi.

I have a question for you, how does one adjust in Indian society when most of the population is like this? The people who appreciate 12 th fail movie are few and most of the people appreciate Pathan, tiger. What should a person do when they feel like they don’t belong here anymore because of this social issue?
That is a very good question, a question that plagues me and many of my friends on a daily basis. As humans, it is quite difficult to not judge but yet we have the choice to choose not to. The mindset of people is changing slowly but surely. So maybe if we focus more on the positives than the negatives our lives become easier. It is a crisis we all face at some point in our lives and as time goes by this too shall pass!
Sir, apart from the entertainment element Jawan has , it has shown and taken up great social daring issues which no other movie has taken it ,,how can you call it a lame movie,,,cmon..and yes ! you have not taken name of the movie ANImal which you prbably think its great ..lol... Joram , Sam bahadur etc are no doubt commendable movies i agree with you but for Jawaan i dont agree with you at all.
True and as I mentioned in the video it is not entirely bad but in comparison to the other movies mentioned it making bigger business is a concern we need to address. As far as Animal is concerned, I have not included it in this video as I am going to cover an in depth character exploration video on it, I’d love to know what you think of it then. The person who looks like average Indian feels intense need to hit the gym, eat protein at cost of his health to look like ideal Indian, have bmi of 25+. It puts intense pressure and discrimination is so unfair. In the end such things do come at work place and in job interviews as well. It’s as if average Indian is sub human and so long as he doesn’t look that part at any cost, he won’t be respected like a human and he would get second class treatment. In other Asian countries the average guy on street looks more close to guy in movie.
Mujhe ek baat samajh nahi ati ki apne yaha social problems pe based movies ko hi High quality kyun bola jata hai, puri duniya me achhi movies banti hai par vo 24/7 social problems pe adharit movies me logo ko emotional karke safe khelne ki koshish nahi karte, sci-fi, psychological thriller, comedy me bhi to world-class movies ban sakti hai. Marathi movies ka hi example lelo, Marathi film maker ke hisaab se social problem pe rone dhone wali movie banali matlab wo world-class movie ban gayi( kya ghatiya logic hai). Isiliye Marathi audience ne chhod diya jyadatar Marathi movies ko dekhna , aur aisi baat nahi hai ki me sirf masala movies ka fan hoon par achchi movie ka execution social problems ko ignore kar ke bhi ho sakta hai .
That is exactly right, and the point of my video too. Entertaining movies can also(should) make sense, they don’t necessarily have to be social issue inclined but can respect the intelligence of the audience.
