I belong to the same industry, and I’ve seen people literally struggle making their ends meet just because they want to follow this path of filmmaking and acting. Working day in and day out, spending sleepless nights, facing rejections, pressures of the society. And then comes this girl who is “manifesting” her first film. I agree that it looks good to see all of the Internet people coming together to support her, but it is also so unfair for others. Who have a Vision, script, their voice and passion. Idk what the future holds for her but I hope she doesn’t take decisions according to her ig comments.
Agreed, it is a rough path to tread. You only know their struggle when you walk a mile in their shoes, as a normal instagram user who is not from the industry might not see why this is unfair.
These are the "creative geniuses" Anurag Kashyap was talking about. No wonder that guy started this payment plan.

Aren’t producers also the financiers of films? It seems she is not a financier either. While I wish her to do well, this lack of direction might backfire as well.
@@ReelRealReflect not necessarily. I mean yeah, you're right, producer is the financer. But it's not necessarily out of his pocket. Like it's mentioned that people are sending fund for the movie, so she basically is going to have the money to spend on the movie. Surely Producers are the one who does the finance but there's no hard and fast rule about from where they get the money. They can spend from their own pocket, they can take loans, they can have it from public funding, can have it from govt.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying argue or say anything against your points. I totally agree with you. I'm just saying what her position can be in this movie
@pratyushpavansaikia8161 No, it makes sense. I guess it is a non-traditional approach to make a film and hopefully turns out good because otherwise I see a huge waste of resources and potential.

Aspiring filmmakers ko ab apni skills se jaiyda reels banane pe focus karna chahiye. No hate to that girl but I don't like people supporting someone who has no script no plan . She shifted from a short film to a feature film only because people are helping her. Koi vision nahi hai jaisa aapne bola . instead kisi deserving person ko support karte jiske pass koi kahani ho kahne ko

Although I agree to your point that she got a opportunity while many other more talented people don't get it but its also about taking a step, as we are already seeing learning in public, building in public is becoming so popular, she might have just started it in the hope of some help, it happens many a times that a less talented person grabs a bigger opportunity than a more talented one, coz maybe he/she may have taken a step forward for trying and not loosing hope. And coming to the vision point, I don't agree with you that she doesn't have a vision, not having a script and not having a vision are 2 different things in my opinion. Also the people those who have commented on ig, I don't think that even 20% of them would actually help her. At last what I feel is, she seems mature enough to do it.

For the second part, how would you define vision in filmmaking if it is not having your own voice/story/script? If the film makes it big, whose film would one call it?

Hi! While I understand seeking support is frustrating, it is sometimes easier to make your own project by gathering artists on your own. Ashish and Harsh are established influencers who I am sure get an umpteen number of scripts in a day and might not be able to respond to everybody but don’t lose courage, you got this!
