Yes I absolutely love this novelisation! Its writing style is so well done that it could honestly be studied in a creative writing class. I love how Stover focuses on the personalities and thoughts of our characters and I love the foreshadowing and metaphors!
This was fantastic to listen to. I remember when I first read Revenge of the Sith, I was pretty late to the game. I couldn't believe that it would live up to the hype. But it exceeded the hype. It's a case study in expanding on and improving the source material. Glad you both made this! Great insights. I always love hearing people's first perspectives on books that I love. You totally hit the nail on the head in terms of how reasonable Palpatine comes off in this book.
